Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 513: Chapter 390: The Day of Unboxing (Part 3)

A moment later.

Baimu, who almost suffocated, finally regained his freedom.

He took out a Mysterious Waterdrop from his pocket and tied it to the inner top of Milotic’s left hair-like fin with a light blue string. The hair-like fin gradually thickens from top to bottom, making it difficult for the Mysterious Waterdrop to fall off during normal activities.

”Here, this is your evolution gift.”

”Milo?”

Milotic glanced at the crystal-clear waterdrop with the corner of her eye and was overjoyed, ”Milo~”

The nearby Hydreigon immediately bit onto the Trainer’s coat, ”Sha sang?”

Where is my evolution gift?

Why don’t I have one?

”Who says you didn’t get one? Feather Rest, remember?”

Baimu pulled the coat from its mouth and glared at it, ”If you call again, I’ll take back Feather Rest!”

”Sha sang...”

Hydreigon sullenly turned its head to the side.

Nevertheless, this reminded Baimu that it’s time to draw some move boxes. Saving them up any longer would just turn them into heirlooms, and it’s a good opportunity to boost Milotic’s combat power.

Other Pokémon can benefit as well.

Let’s do it.

Baimu went back to his room, sat on the sofa, and browsed through his stash while the Pokémon frolicked in the water outside.

Accumulated in the simulator were moves like String Shot, Knockdown, Harden, Weather Ball, Magic Shine, Brave Bird Assault, and sixteen mystery move boxes.

Among them, Weather Ball could be given to Milotic, as he remembered it could learn it, while the rest were either unsuitable or impossible to learn.

Let’s start with the mystery boxes!

But what attribute to choose... Ice, Water, Dragon, Psychic, or General?

Let’s start with Ice.

Milotic already has Scald, which is quite sufficient. In the future, she might learn moves like Water Cannon; while Muddy Fog and Surf are good, they aren’t necessary. Better to learn an Ice-type move to extend the attack range.

Baimu took a deep breath, lightly tapped on the Ice attribute, and clicked open.

The text began to shake.

The first one—Blizzard.

”Whoa! Starting with the big guns?” He gasped, immediately feeling he could stop opening more.

Teaching Blizzard to Milotic was pretty good. Although the hit rate was very low in the game, practically speaking, once you seize the opportunity, such wide-range moves are hard to miss.

Yet greed is human nature.

Baimu couldn’t help but think of equipping Aggron too, since it was tough for this Pokémon to learn special attack moves.

With that thought in mind, he opened another.

The second one—Avalanche.

”Uh...”

Baimu covered his face, realizing his greed was indeed unwise. Avalanche, really? Who could learn such a move?

He got up and checked every Pokémon outdoors, and upon confirming both Milotic and Aggron could learn them, he breathed a sigh of relief, quickly teaching Blizzard to the former and Avalanche to the latter.

”Milo?”

Suddenly feeling a surge of power, Milotic uncontrollably sprayed countless white snowflakes towards Hydreigon, who was drenched and playing with a hose.

Hydreigon’s expression froze like an ice sculpture, turning into a giant three-headed snow dragon and falling from the sky.

Splat!

”Milo!?”

Milotic anxiously approached, realizing she had caused trouble.

Fortunately, Blissey remained calm, quickly casting double spells of Softboiled and Healing Bell, while Aggron silently spewed flames to restore its body temperature, soon bringing Hydreigon back to life.

It slumped on the ground, three heads trembling as it panted like a wet rooster, with the deeply apologetic Milotic beside it.

”...”

Hydreigon pointed a trembling small left head at her, growling through gritted teeth, ”Sha... sang!”

Considering how beautiful you are... I’ll forgive you!

”Milo~”

Only then did Milotic breathe a sigh of relief.

Meanwhile, the instigator Baimu was sitting on the sofa, opening other boxes.

He was now preparing to open Psychic Type, mainly aiming for Reflective Wall, Light Wall, Magic Reflection, or Mirror Reflection.

However, there were many Psychic Attribute moves, easy to accidentally get some odd types, like Bent Soup Spoon or something.

”Let’s do it!”

He clicked open, his expression tense.

The third one—Instant Movement.

The fourth one—Hypnosis Techniques.

The fifth one—Magic Space.

”What the heck?”

Baimu dared not press the sixth, with these three moves each stranger than the last. Let alone the first two, Magic Space is something Porygon can learn, so who could learn it?

My head hurts.

He ran out to touch each Pokémon, confusing them all, but the results brought him great joy, ”Hahaha! The Lucky Scale never deceives!”

Porygon could learn Instant Movement, and Milotic could learn Hypnosis Techniques!

”It’s you two, then!”

Baimu taught the moves to the two Pokémon.

The other Pokémon immediately retreated cautiously, watching Porygon and Milotic warily, afraid of following in Hydreigon’s footsteps.

The Corsola on Porygon’s back: ”...”

Could someone take it along too?

Fortunately, compared to last time, Milotic had improved her control significantly and only released a strand of mottled purple-pink light into the air.

The Pokémon, after the first glance, dared not look again.

Porygon, meanwhile, vanished instantly, leaving Corsola to plop to the ground.

Corsola: ”?”

What was that supposed to mean?

The Pokémon searched around in amazement, finally spotting the ”missing” Porygon on Steelix’s head, with the latter equally puzzled.

”Hypnosis Techniques! Can make people or Pokémon fall asleep; Instant Movement allows instant transfer to another place.”

Baimu, coming out of the room, explained, and only then did they understand the reason.
