Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 515: Chapter 391: Sister Xiangfen

Route 113.

Green Hall.

The renowned Pokémon Aromatherapy Institute and medical hall.

It has a history of sixty years since its establishment, housing samples of most essences available on the market and boasting the most advanced Pokémon essence research and development technology.

Regularly, it aids Trainers passing by to heal their injured Pokémon, or follows Grandma’s habit of tending to injured wild Pokémon in the forest.

Consequently, the guests here are quite numerous.

But today, Green Hall welcomes a rather special visitor.

”Excuse me! Is anyone here? My Hydreigon has caught a cold. Is there a spray specifically for treating Dragon-type Pokémon?”

Baimu stood at the large garden entrance, with Blissey beside him, tugging on Hydreigon whose three heads were drooping, occasionally lifting its head to inhale deeply but with a heavy nasal sound.

”sough... sore...”

It whimpered weakly, its appearance completely at odds with its ferocious looks, drawing the attention of many Grass-type Pokémon, who curiously peeked out and observed.

”happy~” Blissey tenderly patted its head, and complained about its reluctance to rest in the Poké Ball.

Illness differs from injuries; it cannot be healed with recovery moves, but appropriate treatment methods are available. After a preliminary diagnosis, Hydreigon’s condition is not severe, and after consuming cold medicine for Pokémon, its state has steadily improved.

It’s hard for ordinary people to imagine that powerful, high-level Dragon-type Pokémon can fall victim to such minor ailments, but the reality is as long as they are still classified as living beings, injury and illness are unavoidable phases.

The Ice-type Snorunt can even suffer from fever.

It can only be said that Hydreigon has been pampered too well by Baimu all this time, resulting in not having a protective awareness when playing in the water, getting frozen then thawed by fire melting the snow on its body without timely drying. It was still normal in the morning, but after setting off and carrying Baimu flying too high, a blast of high-altitude airflow suddenly made it worse.

Fortunately, as long as the right remedy is applied, Pokémon recovery is quick, as shown more than once in the anime where feverish Pokémon swiftly regain their condition after using medicine, making it almost a miraculous cure.

”Here we come~”

A black-haired lady in a white coat appears, wearing a friendly smile just like Miss Joy.

Seeing the listless Hydreigon, she immediately steps forward quickly, halting slightly at the moment of approach, her nose twitching slightly before continuing to observe its condition, ”Ah, it’s caught a cold, but the situation isn’t too serious so fret not, please follow me into the hall.”

”Thank you very much, Miss Arisa.”

Baimu softly thanked, Blissey pulling Hydreigon along like a balloon.

Unsurprisingly, she turned out to be Sister Xiangfen’s granddaughter—Arisa, the current manager of Green Hall, and one of Xiaogang’s dream goddesses.

She bears an eighty percent resemblance to the preserved photos of Sister Xiangfen on the internet.

Following Arisa into the mansion, rows of neatly arranged shelves come into view first upon entering through the main door, holding countless bottles and jars, whose labels imply they contain pollen or fluids from various Grass-type Pokémon.

Slightly further inside are numerous herbs planted in bonsai pots, all sorts of colors present, creating a complex scent mixed into a wondrous aroma within the hall.

”The raw materials are indeed comprehensive.”

Baimu gazes ardently at everything surrounding him, Blissey equally expressing admiration.

Arisa smiled and asked, ”I smelled the essence of awakening and dry-removal from you, are you also a fan of handmade essence?”

”Yes, I’ve admired Green Hall for a long time, and was planning to come and see it, unexpectedly my Pokémon caught a cold midway.”

He nodded, ”Miss Arisa can just call me Baimu.”

”Alright.”

The look in her eyes towards him gained a bit of favor.

Soon they arrive at a place resembling an Essence Blending Room, where the latter conducted a detailed check on Hydreigon before starting to make an essence using various raw materials—

The craft is entirely manual, just like Baimu’s, without using professional equipment, slightly ”primitive.”

He instinctively averts his gaze.

”Ah, it’s alright, this isn’t a formula that needs to be kept secret.”

Arisa nonchalantly smiled, ”My grandma never agreed with keeping beneficial things like essence away from people, but due to various reasons, some formulas are still not shared publicly due to economic contract constraints.”

As she explained and worked, a tube of essence to cure colds was quickly crafted.

”This is the strengthening and cold-expelling essence, specifically for Dragon-type Pokémon.”

The liquid blue-purple essence glimmered dreamily under the light.

Then they move next door to the aroma therapy room, Hydreigon, under Blissey’s guiding, lays down on the soft sickbed, and Arisa pours the essence into a double-eared gourd bottle, pressing the topmost sphere.

Click.

Blue-purple mist gushed out and quickly filled the entire therapy room, the sound of blocked nasal quickly restored to smooth breathing on Hydreigon laying on the sickbed.

Truly instantaneous, more effective than the cold medicine taken earlier.

Blissey double-checked its health condition, breathed a sigh of relief, and gently sang a relaxing tune for it.

Soon.

Hydreigon peacefully fell asleep.

Witnessing this, Baimu and Blissey thanked Arisa once more, who nodded and smiled, ”Interested in taking a tour? I can introduce you to Green Hall’s conditions.”

”Would it be too much trouble?”

”Not at all! I’m usually quite free!”
