Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 526: Chapter 396: Rhizome Fossil

Porygon landed.

”Pori~”

”What kind of Pokémon is this?”

Like everyone seeing it for the first time, Alice asked a question.

Baimu slightly opened his mouth, then with a change of thought, he laughed and said, ”It’s called Porygon, also known as 3D Dragon. It’s a special virtual Pokémon created by Dr. Akihabara from Kanto.”

Since the vocabulary was forcefully translated by him from Chinese to Pokémon World language and combined, it sounded a bit strange to Alice.

But not too much of a problem.

”Dragon? Is it a Dragon Attribute Pokémon?”

”It can be.”

”Ah!!”

The Dragon-cancer Maiden leaped onto Porygon, exclaiming with joy, ”Dragon Attribute children come in all sorts! But they’re also cute! Like building blocks!”

”Pori?!”

Porygon looked at Alice, who was rubbing its head vigorously, then looked helplessly at its Trainer.

What’s going on?

And what’s 3D Dragon? When did I have that name?

Doesn’t seem right!

”Haha...”

Baimu laughed heartily, but amidst the joking, he explained Porygon’s situation carefully before Alice got completely confused, which made her look at him speechlessly.

”Childish!”

”Cough, cough, back to business.”

He coughed a couple of times and said seriously, ”Since we’ve initially figured out the patterns, we don’t need to face those Pokémon Stone Statues head-on. First, let’s use Porygon’s Instant Movement to take our luggage, drop through a trap back to the first floor, then run out through the door opened by the Sandstorm. Simple, isn’t it?”

”Oh-oh!”

Alice nodded rapidly along with the two Pokémon.

Due to various reasons, Porygon’s Instant Movement can’t cross very far distances or unseen places. Otherwise, Baimu and Alice could wait for it at the exit.

But even if that wasn’t possible, this plan was quite simple.

The concern was whether there would be any annoying mishaps during the process and if it could be executed smoothly...

Baimu carefully assessed Alice and Fraxure, both of whom had confused expressions with question marks almost visible over their heads.

”What’s up?”

”Nothing.”

He decided to be extra cautious, ”Let’s prepare for it.”

”Is there anything else to prepare?”

”Of course. Maps, phone signals, timing for door-opening, anything we can prepare beforehand to avoid errors in actual execution.”

The string of terms made Alice’s head spin.

Although she wasn’t as rash as Ash Ketchum, she rarely did such meticulous planning. She usually set a goal and charged ahead.

Like when she saw Rayquaza and wanted to chase its shadow, so she came to the Hoenn Region.

Or wanting to become stronger, so she challenged strong Dragon Tamers and Trainers everywhere.

Therefore, this was her first time experiencing such a thoroughly planned operation——

It didn’t feel bad?

Just too troublesome, and she’d definitely not handle it herself.

On another side.

Baimu jotted down the detailed plan in a sketchbook.

The previous agreement with Steelix was a call reminder. To ensure it could open the door in time, he planned to make the call when Porygon acted.

So that they could fall to the first layer and circle to the door, the timing should be just right.

”The route is like this, understood?”

Baimu drew the route on the sketchbook and said to Alice in front of him.

She scanned the sketchbook with a solemn nod, ”Understood!”

”...You can understand it upside down? And you only glanced, you were looking at Porygon the whole time.”

”I’m not an idiot! One look is enough! I’m good with directions!”

”Then why did you walk the opposite direction outside?”

”Just a tiny mistake! Always nitpicking, aren’t you childish? And you call yourself an adult!”

”Fine, my bad.”

Not wanting to argue with a twelve-year-old kid, he said, ”Let’s rehearse once, to make it foolproof and avoid errors.”

Alice replied with a huff.

Really, why did he assume she’d get lost from the start?

Although... she really forgot the route at the moment, but that was due to the argument—it was already memorized!

The two returned to the staircase on the fourth floor and began the rehearsal without delay.

Then.

Then Alice brightly ran towards the wrong path, nearly triggering a Pokémon Stone Statue, luckily Fraxure reacted quickly, noticing Baimu standing still, it pulled her back in time.

”Ah!”

Due to inertia, Alice’s feet left the ground and she fell on her butt, turning quickly to see Baimu staring down at her with a disdainful look.

”Another thirty centimeters forward and you would have triggered the trap, congratulations.”

He gently applauded.

”...Wahh.”

Alice mumbled dejectedly, ”Sorry~”

Seeing this, Baimu didn’t take it further, ”Since you don’t know the route, just follow me closely and don’t run off by yourself.”

She nodded rapidly.

——

Formal operation.

Baimu stood at the staircase with a phone set to the call interface, alongside Alice and Fraxure.

Porygon looked at the luggage in front of it, surveyed the surroundings, and finally fixed its gaze on the Trainer, their eyes meeting.

”Go!”

At his command, he pressed the call button.

Beep!

Porygon bent down, bit the luggage, its block-like body shivered dramatically, disappearing from where it was and instantly appearing beside Alice.

She quickly took the luggage, the floor of the fourth layer started vibrating, and numerous Armaldo and Cradily Statues emerged from the surrounding walls, reaching dozens in a split second!
