Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2587: Chapter 2588: Return to Tianyun (154)

Wan Banyan didn’t want to give thanks at all, but she had no choice and said, ”Thank you, Princess, for your kindness.”

After Wan Banyan and Taoming Hai left Su Xing, who was formidable, Wan Banyan quickly grabbed Taoming Hai and said, ”Husband, she wants to harm my child! She wants to harm my child!”

”What are you talking about? Who would want to harm our child?” Taoming Hai asked in confusion.

”Su Xing! Su Xing!” Wan Banyan was anxious and flustered, still unsettled.

Taoming Hai hurriedly covered her mouth and lowered his voice, ”Don’t talk nonsense! If she hears us again, she’ll definitely have our heads! Let’s go, we’ll talk about this when we get back!”

They were still quite close to Su Xing’s courtyard, and Wan Banyan knew this. Hearing Taoming Hai’s words, she temporarily kept quiet.

Once they returned to their room, Wan Banyan grabbed Taoming Hai’s hand again, speaking anxiously and fearfully, ”She’s always mentioning my child, and suddenly treating me so well. She must be trying to harm our child! She must be!”

Taoming Hai felt uncertain himself after she said this, but he still said, ”I don’t see that she’s trying to harm our child. Besides, what would she gain from it?”

”She’s definitely holding a grudge from the last time we said she and that Commons Son would have no descendants, so she doesn’t want me to give birth to this child. And she’s afraid this child is a boy, afraid it’s father’s eldest grandson, otherwise, why would she specially mention that the child might be father’s eldest grandson? She must be plotting in secret to harm our child! And since we’ve offended her, she won’t let us go! Husband, what should we do? Husband? Husband?” Wan Banyan was extremely anxious, flustered, and frightened.

Taoming Hai hadn’t thought much of it initially, not believing Su Xing would harm his child at all, but after listening to Wan Banyan’s long speech, he too began to doubt, ”It really seems like it... Why would she suddenly be so nice to you, excusing you from bowing and telling you not to worry about greeting until after the child is born... She even mentioned the matter of the eldest grandson on purpose...”

”She wants to harm the child! She does!” Wan Banyan shouted, extremely agitated.

Taoming Hai immediately rebuked, ”Lower your voice! She’s a Princess now, she could end our lives with a single word.”

Wan Banyan finally lowered her voice, still very anxious and agitated, ”Then husband, what should we do? We can’t let her harm our child to death!”

”Let me think carefully.” Taoming Hai didn’t know what to do either.

But Wan Banyan couldn’t sit still and think, she pulled Taoming Hai and said, ”Husband, let’s kill them. Only by killing them will we have a good future, and our child can be born safely. If they don’t die, what future do we have? What your father says sounds nice, but now she’s a Princess. Even if you inherit the family, what does it matter? She’s still the biggest, and you still have no future to speak of. We might as well go all the way and kill them. Even if you have no future later, our days will be better than living under her rule.”

Taoming Hai felt she made sense. As long as Su Xing was around, they wouldn’t have good days ahead.

But, ”Conspiring to harm a Princess could result in the execution of the Five Clans.”

Wan Banyan immediately said, ”We just don’t let anyone know it was us who did it, and we’ll be fine, right? If no one knows we did it, how will we be executed?”
