Surviving The Fourth Calamity

After Aislin’s expression changed several times, she finally answered: ”I am Aislin! Just Aislin!”

Hill glanced at the giant screen with some surprise... Was Aislin having the upper hand?

Glaysia’s soul couldn’t even utter her own identity!

This kind of mutual questioning by name has its own rules.

Unless ’Aislin’ still wants to hide her identity and can successfully do so, she must clarify who she really is.

The Rose Radiance behind the Dawn Messenger is the greatest assurance of respect from others.

Therefore, being able to say her own name is a great benefit to Aislin in maintaining her conscious will.

This identity has been confirmed by the Deities and their agents, and the call of the name can cause resonance waves in the Law.

The Dawn Messenger naturally understood this, so even though he was somewhat hesitant, he still softly asked: ”So, Miss Aislin, who is the guest residing within you?”

Aislin’s face bloomed with a joyful smile... She must have felt how beneficial this sentence was to her.

The Dawn Messenger’s reference to Aislin’s name this time surely helped increase her soul strength significantly.

But Hill absolutely did not believe that this Dawn Messenger was unaware of the problem with Aislin’s soul... so actually, he did not choose that Silvermoon.

How could he not see the Power of the Silvermoon?

But he could see the Power of the Devil even more clearly.

Therefore, among those possibly entangled in Aislin’s soul, the Dawn Believers chose without hesitation the soul that was clearly human.

Hill thought for a moment, that if it were him, upon discovering such a bizarre Aislin, he would also first exclude the two Deities and Demons.

Not because humans might be innocent, but because even if she was ultimately that damned person, dealing with her would be the easiest.

Lansendel’s followers have always been battle-hardened, their combat experience far exceeds Hill’s, making such a decision very normal.

Enemies, leaving behind the weakest and least threatening one is always the best outcome.

Of course, Aislin was able to accomplish this entirely thanks to the Goddess of the Silvermoon, who acted without restraint and according to her own whims.

Had she not utilized her abilities as the Goddess of the Silvermoon to strengthen Aislin’s soul will, as the weakest human soul... even if the Goddess of the Silvermoon occupied only one-tenth in that soul, she could actually exert two-fifths of her combat power.

When she applied this energy to Aislin’s soul, together their combined energy could indeed suppress Glaysia, who occupied at least three-fifths.

And Glaysia wasn’t guarded, naturally because even if her thoughts leaned towards chaos, she was a devil of the order side.

Logically, she and Silvermoon, these two powerhouses, should first deal with that weak but heavily weighted false soul, then rely on their own skills to plunder as much as possible into their own pockets.

Finally, the two of them could discuss how to split into two people... Of course, if ’Aislin’ managed to succeed in her scheme, allowing the body and soul with the Power of the Silvermoon to ultimately belong to her, all the better.

In such a case, even Asmodeus wouldn’t allow Glaysia to clear her out.

Though ’Aislin’ was always cautiously guarding against the Dawn Believers opposite, under the circumstances that Lansendel was still being blocked by Asmodeus outside the world, she hadn’t completely despaired about her future.

As long as she could draw the Lord of Hell’s interest, even if Asmodeus withdrew, he wouldn’t fail to take her along.

Anyway, she had always been striving for survival and wasn’t to the point of giving up now.

But that Silvermoon?

She was truly crazy... No, not right, madmen aren’t so easily persuaded.

So how exactly did she manage to convince Aislin to abandon their initially reached cooperation and turn to support that weakest guy?

’Aislin’ struggled to suppress those two obnoxious fellows... the energy overlap from Silvermoon wasn’t sustainable continuously.

Therefore, her soul was still the strongest.

She gazed at the Dawn Messenger ahead, speaking seriously: ”I am Glaysia!

This is my body, my soul, just having a little problem.

Although my father is fighting with the Lord of Dawn, when they haven’t decided the victor yet, there is no need for conflict between us, right?”

”An avatar... is it?” The Dawn Devotee immediately understood why this body was so weak... Devil avatars are essentially made using some crooked methods to create Strange Objects as avatars, which makes it normal for them to have issues.

However, as the Princess of Hell, to have combined her soul into a threesome... who taught Glaysia alchemy?

Hill suddenly realized why that Silvermoon chose to cooperate with Aislin.

Aislin is actually indeed a persona created by a false mask.

But because the soul is composed of fragmented slices... there is no need to ask about Glaysia’s level in alchemy anymore.

Thus, although she is a powerful mage, her soul will is unexpectedly thin.

And mages, integrate with the Law precisely to leverage the Power of Laws to compensate for their physical deficiencies.

The body strength of an Eighth Ring Mage is almost ten times that of a Seventh Circle Mage... which is still relatively weak.

Not to mention soul strength.

Although Hilbert has never been afraid of her, even daring to confront her directly... but that’s because he disguised himself as Gilbert, with outstanding talents.

And Aislin, due to her soul defect, cannot sustain like a true Eighth Ring Mage.

The biggest difference between the strongest of the Seven Circles and the Eighth Ring is that the Seven Circles can only rely on bursts of force... once the three ax blows fail, they would be played to death by the more sustained Eighth Ring.

Aislin is called the weakest of the Eighth Ring because her ability to sustain combat is not much stronger than that of the Seven Circles.

Then, what does her Law actually compensate for?

Naturally, it’s her tattered soul.

The false mask presumably generated some special factors, patching that fragmented soul into a whole.

And all the fragments of this soul come from the loyal followers of the Silvermoon.

To the Goddess of the Silvermoon, even if her will is not fully awake, only hazy thoughts, she would not be unaware of her followers’ souls.

So, in her heart, Aislin can be equated with her followers... then what is there to worry about?

Which devoted follower would compete with their Main God for possessions?

Thus, her choice to ally with a weaker entity to confront an enemy stronger than the two combined doesn’t seem wrong... just a misjudgment of people.

Of course, since she misjudged people, the resulting consequences can only be accepted by herself.

But Hill saw the most crucial fact from it... although she is still this world’s Silvermoon, the world no longer favors her.

The Silvermoon of Teraxil also caused a lot of trouble, but she was still embraced by the world’s fate upon awakening.

Just as when she wanted the Elven God King to be embarrassed, her White Wolf could bite him... although the Elven God King might be foolish, he is not weak, most importantly, he is covered in divine artifacts.

Thus, whose luck is on whose side is evident.

Yet, this world’s Silvermoon manages to make such a huge mistake in such a simple judgment, a choice between two.

This isn’t something that would typically happen to a Moon Goddess connected closely with the world.

This must be the World Will resolutely severing all connections with the Silvermoon before its impending collapse... even though this leads to its quicker demise.

Tsk~

This thing was indeed the true culprit behind bringing in the Devil.

Considering Hill’s understanding of the World Will, they seldom abandon their innate Suns, Moons, and Earth unless they are utterly desperate, or even filled with hatred.

After all, each one is formed from their origin.

Therefore, if it’s only a miscalculation, or a deception, it wouldn’t make the world so ruthlessly abandon its moon.

So... she must have known what might happen, yet insisted on proceeding for her own gain.

Ha~

Indeed, this world was unordinary from the start.

Hill suddenly recalled what Russell told him about problems occurring in those children with one soul and two wills.

Perhaps this bizarre phenomenon has long existed, just that humans discovered certain methods to create similar existences.

”What did you say?!” A roar from the huge screen interrupted Hill’s thoughts.

He blinked, realizing abruptly... Delphus exploded.

This guy, every time he showboats, gets smacked backhanded with two slaps.

Despite having several people behind him, he just had to push the one he couldn’t afford to offend.

Delphus’s face, tightly scrunched together.

Attracted by his roar, ’Aislin’ only looked impatient: ”So ugly! Can you stop talking?”

I’ve put up with you for a long time, okay?”

A black light suddenly surged up, splitting into several Black Whips in midair, swiftly lashing towards Delphus.

Hill was surprised to find there was also a touch of silver-blue radiance attached to some of the whips.

He thought, maybe the reason why that Dawn Believer couldn’t step in to stop it in time wasn’t entirely because he originally wanted Delphus dead... seeing the shock of mingled Devil’s Power and Silvermoon’s Power was overwhelming.

That’s different from two powers residing within one person’s body.

That was a true fusion.

Although Hill could understand why that Silvermoon still cooperated with ’Aislin’... Delphus betrayed her too.

But just for such a small thing, this Silvermoon Goddess doesn’t even consider what she just did, and goes on to cooperate with the very ’Aislin’ who had just caused her trouble... is this world’s Silvermoon human-shaped?
