Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1200: Chapter 658: Golden Ball Awards Ceremony (Part 4)

Attending Paimon’s party, Zhou Yun wore a dress from brand V.

Thanks to Zhou Yun, it was much easier for Zhou Lan to borrow clothes for Wang Jing. Almost every brand agreed quickly—on one hand, Wang Jing’s image wouldn’t embarrass any brand, and on the other, they all hoped Zhou Yun would wear their clothes.

Both Zhou Yun and Wang Jing’s agents are Zhou Lan, so if they don’t handle their relationship with Zhou Lan well, how could they let Zhou Yun wear their clothes?

Thanks to ”Behind the Scenes,” Mr. You’s career revived, and he recently seems to be getting close to G brand, wearing their clothes to every event.

Once they arrived at the party, they were met with enthusiastic cheers from everyone.

Someone walked up to Zhou Yun and said, ”Your performance in ’Behind the Scenes’ was amazing, forget about the Golden Ball award.”

Zhou Yun found it amusing and frustrating.

Many people expressed their liking for Zhou Yun, and she graciously thanked them.

That night, she met so many people.

However, she stayed at the party for less than forty minutes before Zhou Lan reminded her and she hurriedly left, changed into another outfit, and went to attend Mowesen’s dinner event.

Zhou Yun had already decided to hand over her overseas representation to Mowesen, and tonight’s appearance was a prelude to that.

Zhou Yun met Elizabeth there.

”Hi, darling, you look stunning tonight. It’s okay if you didn’t win; you’re the best in my heart,” Elizabeth warmly held Zhou Yun’s hand and said: ”It’s been so long since I’ve attended any event, seeing you tonight really makes me so happy.”

Zhou Yun said, ”Me too, I’m so surprised to see you here, why didn’t you tell me earlier that you were coming?”

”I decided last minute, originally I didn’t want to come out, didn’t want to be misreported by those media journalists, but I was too bored, staying at home was so dull,” Elizabeth said.

Zhou Yun laughed.

”I heard Gediyah caused you trouble again today?” Elizabeth asked.

Zhou Yun shook her head and said, ”Not really trouble, she’s just annoying, you know, even though I didn’t provoke her, she acts like I’ve wronged her and keeps challenging me.”

”She can’t stand how you became famous as soon as you arrived in Hollywood, too jealous,” Elizabeth said as she led Zhou Yun to meet Sedar, who she met at Elizabeth’s party before. ”Sedar, Zhou Yun is here, weren’t you looking for her before?”

Zhou Yun looked at Sedar with some surprise.

This Oscar-nominated Black actress, famous for the ’Magic’ series, showed a delighted expression and said, ”Hey, Zhou Yun, I finally get to meet you. I have a favor to ask.”

”Oh? Please go ahead.”

Zhou Yun had no idea how she could assist Sedar.

Sedar said, ”I have a movie and want to ask your boyfriend to play the lead male role. Could you help introduce us?”

Zhou Yun didn’t expect Sedar’s target to be Song Chi.

”Haha, sure,” Zhou Yun happily agreed. ”No problem.”

After some conversation, Zhou Yun realized that Sedar had already become a producer.

She had started her own company to find suitable projects to act in.

”Only this way can you have a say and act in the movies you want,” Sedar said, ”I’ve heard Song Chi has also started his own production company.”

Zhou Yun thought, that’s indeed different.

Song Chi’s company is a properly structured production company, managed by professional managers, not a personal company revolving around developing projects for Song Chi.

”I’ve been thinking about starting my own production company too,” Elizabeth suddenly said.

Sedar said, ”You really should have started your own production company long ago.”

Elizabeth said, ”I always thought it would be too much trouble.”

Sedar said, ”You’re afraid of trouble now, but when you’re older and movie companies no longer want to work with you, it’ll be more troublesome.”

Elizabeth said, ”Why do you think so far ahead?”

Sedar said, ”If you don’t plan ahead, who will?”

Elizabeth is currently at the height of her career, never lacking opportunities since her debut, with movie companies sending her scripts and offering roles day after day as she sits at home.

She never considered the day when she might no longer be valued by film companies.

Most people, when they are young, don’t consider that day.
