Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1191: Chapter 656: Zhou Yun and Gu Huaichun_4

Zhou Yun walked by wearing sunglasses.

Zhou Yun could almost foresee that when she attends the Berlin International Film Festival, if there is a media interview segment, and if there are media from China, they might definitely ask her about this issue.

What should she say then?

Zhou Yun didn’t know, hadn’t figured it out.

She felt she had said all she could.

Zhou Yun noticed that Zheng Xiaojue’s whole spirit seemed low.

”Xiaoju, what’s wrong?” Zhou Yun asked.

Zheng Xiaojue said, ”Sister Xiao Yun, I feel shaken.”

”Hmm? What kind of shock?” Zhou Yun asked, ”Is it Gu Huaichun’s issue?”

”Hmm.” Zheng Xiaojue nodded, ”I didn’t expect... Brother Xiao Gu to be so irresponsible.”

Zhou Yun couldn’t help but laugh.

Zheng Xiaojue looked a bit conflicted, ”Actually, I know Brother Xiao Gu is ambiguous with many people, but I just thought he was being a bit flirtatious.”

”Xiaoju, I understand how you feel.”

”Really?”

”From a purely emotional perspective, I’m just like you. I also think he’s a bit too wild; when we talk privately, let’s be honest and not sugarcoat things.” Zhou Yun smiled, ”Even though he’s my friend, I still think he’s too indulgent, but, how to say this, even though it’s true, I also feel I don’t have the standing to criticize him for anything. It’s his personal life, and although he’s wild, at least he’s never deceived anyone’s feelings, as far as I know. He’s straightforward in his wildness, clear in being a ’bad boy’, from the start he doesn’t give people false hope. So, from a purely rational standpoint, I also understand the things between men and women. As he says, he’s not a monk cultivating asceticism in a temple.”

Zheng Xiaojue burst out laughing at the last sentence.

Zhou Yun said, ”He’s been messed with by Xu Qin today. To be honest with you, I’ve long had a feeling, I’ve long felt that with his style, sooner or later someone will mess with him. This happened, there’s no choice, he has to face it himself and bear the consequences.”

Zheng Xiaojue nodded, puckered her lips thoughtfully.

”But, it seems Xiaoju, you really like Gu Huaichun.”

”Of course.” Zheng Xiaojue asked curiously, ”Sister Xiao Yun, why did you suddenly say that?”

Zhou Yun said, ”Because only when you truly like someone, do you hope everything’s fine for them. But we have to accept a fact: everyone has their flaws. Whether we can accept someone really depends on whether we can accept their flaws.”

”But I feel Sister Xiao Yun, you don’t have flaws.”

”Are you serious?” Zhou Yun asked.

Zheng Xiaojue nodded.

”Perhaps because... there are still many things you don’t know about me yet.” Zhou Yun laughed, ”Xiaoju, never believe that anyone’s without flaws, really.”

Zheng Xiaojue felt it strange. Why did Sister Xiao Yun have to emphasize that she wasn’t perfect?

But it wasn’t strange at all; Sister Xiao Yun is inherently that kind of person.

...

Another long flight.

Zhou Yun thought to herself, recently, in the past six months, these long flights have become more frequent.

She took out the e-reader and began reading the script.

Once she landed, Zhou Yun felt much freer when breathing the fresh air in the spacious airport.

Zheng Xiaojue said, ”Sister Xiao Yun, let me take a picture of you.”

Zhou Yun nodded happily, allowing Zheng Xiaojue to take a few photos of her at the airport.

Zheng Xiaojue said, ”I feel my photography skills have improved.”

Previously, Zhou Lan specifically paid for Zheng Xiaojue to learn photography, mainly with the intention of having Zheng Xiaojue take more photos of Zhou Yun in daily work, especially when Zhou Yun was filming with the crew.

Sometimes when Zhou Yun enters production, she may go two or three months without exposure activity because Zhou Yun herself seldom posts selfies on Weibo. At this time, the studio needs to post several photos of Zhou Yun to share some updates.

Posting photos of Zhou Yun from the studio has a benefit: if they’re not real fans of Zhou Yun, they generally wouldn’t visit the studio’s Weibo to look.

Primarily, Zhou Lan wants to maintain Zhou Yun’s fan’s attention towards her.

Zhou Yun thought of saying that maintaining a period of mystery is quite good; it creates a sense of surprise when she comes out.

However, Zhou Lan said, ”It’s fine for you to maintain a period of mystery with the public, but if you keep such a mystery with your loyal fans, and they can’t see your updates regularly, how long can they wait for you? When you need promotion for your film, who will help you promote it? Even CCTV acknowledges the power of the young idol’s fanbase. Why? Because they can genuinely make things happen when it matters. Whether it’s data or hype, they have it. Of course, maybe you don’t need it anymore, but why not maintain some of that?”
