Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1177: Chapter 653: News About ”Chinese Warrior

The number of viewers for ”Deep Sea” on the Paimon streaming platform isn’t bad, with an average viewership of over 1.5 million per episode.

This viewership number is quite impressive for a non-English series.

Of course, compared to the platform’s most popular series, this number still seems quite humble, but Zhou Yun is very satisfied with it.

Even the Paimon streaming platform has published a congratulatory poster.

Almost all media in the United States related to film and entertainment are eager to contact Zhou Yun, interview her, or invite her to appear on shows.

At this time, a rather awkward situation arose.

People wanting to contact Zhou Yun could only reach out through acquaintances; besides that, there’s no formal point of contact. Especially for major events like award ceremonies, organizers would go through Paimon or Shi Luoqi to contact Zhou Yun’s side.

Zhou Yun hasn’t signed over her overseas management contract yet, which leaves many in the American media at a loss about how to find Zhou Yun.

Zheng Xiaojue was the first to realize this issue.

Previously, Zhou Lan mentioned that since Zhou Yun would inevitably pursue an international career, she needed to set up comprehensive support for it.

But because Zhou Lan’s work was so busy, she hadn’t gotten around to it.

Zheng Xiaojue said, ”Sister Xiao Yun, given your current situation, I think it would be more convenient for you if you signed part of your management contracts overseas.”

At the very least, there needs to be a smooth channel for everyone to reach Zhou Yun.

Unless Zhou Yun doesn’t plan to expand into the European and American markets; if not, the inconvenience wouldn’t matter much in the short term.

Zheng Xiaojue gave Zhou Yun a heads-up.

Indeed, especially since she will be shooting a movie in the United States at the end of the year, after the English film ”Killing Song” is released, there will be more international events.

Chengqian Entertainment can no longer provide the appropriate management services.

Zhou Lan is overwhelmed as well, with too many responsibilities on her shoulders to worry about every specific detail of connecting the work.

An overseas management agency needs to be found.

Zhou Yun called Zhou Lan to discuss this matter with her.

Zhou Lan shared the same thoughts, saying, ”I was just thinking of discussing this with you. Now that you’re getting more overseas business, you need a professional manager to handle your work abroad. This person must be familiar with the American film industry as well as the entertainment industry. Do you have a company in mind?”

Zhou Yun replied, ”I actually don’t know any companies.”

Zhou Lan said, ”In fact, after your Golden Ball nomination, several veteran agencies approached me wanting to manage your contracts in Europe and America.”

”Really?”

”Because I’m still in talks with them and haven’t found a particularly satisfactory outcome, I haven’t mentioned it to you yet,” Zhou Lan said, ”I’m coming over The Day After Tomorrow and have appointments with three of them. Once I’ve met with them and discussed some of the key clauses, I’ll talk it over with you.”

”Okay.”

These matters can’t be rushed. It’s better to take on fewer jobs for now than to end up with an unreliable company, which would be very undesirable.

So, all the additional work coordination has been handed over to Zheng Xiaojue.

Zheng Xiaojue’s prior English studies are finally proving useful.

Zhou Yun’s schedule in the United States is quite full, with interviews and filming tasks every day.

Although Zhou Yun’s English is very good, the things she can say are limited. Saying the same things over and over every day has already made her tired of it.

The downside of being an actor is having to repeat the same things in interviews.

Reflecting upon it, Zhou Yun finds her life quite dull, with no interesting stories to share.

This evening, Zhou Yun is scheduled to attend a business dinner event.

It’s another gathering of celebrities.

Typically, attending such events requires an appropriate outfit.

Luckily, Zhou Yun now has no shortage of brands willing to lend her outfits.

Even in the United States, these brands are quite generous.

Of course, Zhou Yun mainly wears outfits from brands she endorses.

This evening, with a lot of media exposure, it is exactly the time for Zhou Yun to fulfill her duties as a brand ambassador. When else would be a better opportunity?

However, after Jinling Jewelry lent Zhou Yun a set of jewelry worth tens of millions, due to its astonishing value, Jinling Jewelry particularly arranged four bodyguards to stay close to Zhou Yun to prevent any loss of jewelry.
