Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1183: Chapter 655: International Grand Prize

Stuart Patrice usually doesn’t like watching romantic art films, and this ”Life” is not his type.

However, as an executive in charge of series production at Paimon, he knows what can attract audiences and what cannot.

Due to his daily work, he needs to watch a large number of films and TV series, both domestic and international.

Especially after watching ”Behind the Scenes” just now, Stuart Patrice suddenly realized that this actress named Zhou Yun possesses a terrifying power.

It’s astonishing that she made these two films within one or two years.

Stuart Patrice was surprised that after Zhou Yun presented a hysterical, restless, and extremely controlling state in ”Behind the Scenes,” she portrayed a young, beautiful woman’s sorrow and vulnerability, confusion and elegance in ”Life.”

This woman surprisingly has two completely different qualities that fully embody her.

People often say that actors should be able to play any role.

But insiders know better that an actor’s limitations are actually considerable.

Who can truly shed their personality and habitual performance style in different shows?

Stuart Patrice was shocked that Zhou Yun’s performance details and style in these two films were completely different, like they were given by two different actors.

He failed to find any sense of familiarity.

In shock, while constantly tracking information about ”Deep Sea,” he finally clicked on this show for the first time.

Watching this show made him let out a long sigh of relief.

Fortunately, Zhou Yun in this show did not give him the shocking impression of a third person acting, as if reborn.

But he couldn’t deny that Zhou Yun had an extremely special aura in this show, mysterious, seeming to harbor secrets, yet adorable, with many unintentionally revealing details of a mature woman’s playful innocence.

Stuart Patrice has always considered himself good at evaluating actors, and he saw an intriguingly mysterious charisma in Zhou Yun.

Such charisma is rare for an actor.

An actor with this charisma continuously attracts people to focus on her and be curious about everything happening with her.

Stuart Patrice didn’t expect Zhou Yun to have such a characteristic.

He suddenly thought of those legendary figures who left their names in film history.

Of course, Stuart Patrice knew that Zhou Yun was still far from those people, and there weren’t any Asian actors among their ranks.

In the history of film development, Asian actors have been decades behind Europe and America in rising to stardom.

That night, he inexplicably felt a shiver of intuition.

Zhou Yun seemed to have such potential.

Did he really see this potential, or was it an illusion?

Stuart Patrice was lost in thought.

He didn’t sleep well that night.

...

Zhou Yun didn’t know, at this moment, a senior executive at Paimon was plunged into a strange contemplation because of her.

She was discussing with Zhou Lan in the hotel which agency to choose as her overseas agency.

”I tend to choose Mowesen,” Zhou Lan offered her opinion, saying, ”I’ve had a round of talks with representatives from Mowesen, Bike, and Louis Kobi. Mowesen offers the most favorable conditions, and their business spans the globe. Choosing Mowesen means we can also access business in Japan, Korea, and other Asian countries and regions through them, though they demand the highest commission percentage.”

Zhou Yun nodded and asked, ”Sister Lan, what are your reasons for giving up on Bike and Louis Kobi?”

”Their business scope isn’t as extensive as Mowesen’s, especially Louis Kobi, whose business is limited to Europe and America, while we actually have a significant portion of business in other Asian countries and regions,” Zhou Lan said, ”Signing with Louis Kobi means we would need another agency in Asia. To be honest, I don’t want the representation to be too fragmented, as it can easily lead to unclear scenarios.”

Zhou Yun said, ”Mowesen demands a high commission percentage; I just want to know if this is particularly high for me, or if their overall commission for signed artists is generally high.”
