Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 150, No Level Requirement Enchantment Scroll

Translator: Silavin

Lu Fan was very surprised, never expecting that the Beautiful Senior Sister would not be at the Dragon Capital Arena, but had come to Villa No. 1.

This was the first time Lu Fan had seen this Beautiful Senior Sister outside the Dragon Capital Arena, and it felt quite strange. This feeling was akin to an online dating partner suddenly appearing in real life.

“Senior Sister, why are you here!?” Lu Fan greeted her in surprise. The Beautiful Senior Sister, who had been looking down at her phone, looked up when she heard Lu Fan’s voice and smiled.

“It looks like I should really get your contact information. Otherwise, I can only wait here like a fool for you. I wasted a lot of time here.” The Senior Sister walked forward to meet Lu Fan and the others.

Han Ke and the others did not know who she was, so Lu Fan quickly introduced her.

Everyone knew that Lu Fan had recently met an interesting ‘Beautiful Senior Sister’ at the Dragon Capital Arena, who was probably a teacher and had been teaching Lu Fan combat techniques. Now that they finally met her in person, everyone was very polite to her and greeted her one by one.

Lu Fan was about to introduce Han Ke and the others, but unexpectedly, the Beautiful Senior Sister knew everyone present and said with a smile. “No need to introduce them to me. If I’m not mistaken, this is Jian Ying, ranked second among the freshmen, this is Tao Xiaoman, and this is Holy Light Mage, Qin Qiu.”

As she spoke, her gaze fell on Han Ke, her smile widening, “This Sister should be Sister Han Ke, right? Sister Han is very famous in the Lifestyle Faculty, her cooking is delicious. Lu Fan has brought me some of your cooking before. I’ve always eaten it all up with relish.”

Han Ke also smiled and politely replied, “I can’t take all the credit, it’s thanks to my teachers’ wonderful instruction. If you like my cooking, you’re welcome to come and eat with us anytime. I basically cook three meals a day. If you come at mealtime, you’ll definitely get to eat something good!”

The Beautiful Senior Sister was both surprised and delighted, “Oh? Is there such a good thing in this world? If I come to freeload, won’t it be troubling you too much?”

Tao Xiaoman, who was quite sociable with people of the same gender, immediately said, “Not troublesome at all, Sister Han always makes a lot of delicious food. One more person is just one more pair of chopsticks. Um… Senior Sister, we’re definitely very welcoming if you come over to our place.”

Tao Xiaoman did not know how to address this Senior Sister, whose name she did not know. Thus, she could only call her ‘Senior Sister’ like Lu Fan.

Han Ke added, “Yes, we’ll definitely welcome you if you come over. I’ve heard from Fan’er that you’ve helped him a lot lately. As his Auntie, I should have shown my appreciation earlier.”

Faced with everyone’s warm invitation, the Beautiful Senior Sister smiled with her eyes curved, looking a bit embarrassed as she said. “Alright then, I’ll come over to freeload in the future when I have the chance. Just don’t mind if I eat a lot, hehe.”

After everyone exchanged pleasantries, Lu Fan took the initiative to ask the Senior Sister why she had come to Villa No. 1 to find him today. After all, they usually met at the Dragon Capital Arena.

The Beautiful Senior Sister tilted her head, remembering that she had come for something important:

“Oh my, everyone’s so enthusiastic, I got caught up in chatting and forgot about the real reason why I’m here.”

“Lu Fan, come out with me for a bit, I need to take you to Dragon Capital to handle some matters.”

As she spoke, the Beautiful Senior Sister smiled at everyone and said, “Sorry everyone, but I might have to borrow the only man in your villa for a while. Not to worry, I’ll bring him back safe and sound in the evening.”

Hearing this, Lu Fan felt as if he was a breeding horse about to be taken away. He did not know if Han Ke and the others had the same feeling, but perhaps because they thought Lu Fan and the Beautiful Senior Sister were acquainted, and she was also a teacher of the University, that they did not think much of it.

Han Ke directly agreed with a firm unassuming nod. After confirming that Lu Fan and the Beautiful Senior Sister might return a bit late, she even added that since that was the case, she would cook less and have an easier time. After all, apart from the two Dragons, Lu Fan was the one who ate the most at the dinner table every day.

Seeing that Lu Fan had been ‘sold’ to her, the Beautiful Senior Sister patted Lu Fan’s shoulder and thanked everyone, “Then, I thank you for entrusting Lu Fan to me. It’s getting late now, and I need to hurry and take him to do something important. So, I won’t chat with you all anymore. See you next time.”

As she spoke, the Beautiful Senior Sister used her High Strength Attribute to directly put her arm around Lu Fan’s shoulder and walk out.

Lu Fan had originally planned to go back and hatch the Star Sky Dragon, but suddenly being taken away by the Beautiful Senior Sister made him hesitant.

He finally convinced himself to go along after considering how the Dragon Egg would not go anywhere. So, he might as well go out with this Senior Sister first and hatch it when he comes back.

So, Lu Fan hastily said goodbye to Han Ke and the others, and left Villa No. 1 with the Beautiful Senior Sister.

After Lu Fan and the Senior Sister had walked away, Tao Xiaoman looked at the Senior Sister’s departing figure, tilting her head slightly as if thinking about something.

Seeing this, Qin Qiu poked her forehead and asked with a smile, “Tao Zi, what are you thinking about?”

Tao Xiaoman shook her head and said, “I was just thinking, didn’t Lu Fan say before that this Senior Sister might be a teacher at Dragon Capital University? But before I came to Dragon Capital University, I had thoroughly researched all the Warrior Type teachers and professors here. How is it that I don’t have any impression of that Senior Sister just now? She uses a spear and has a Warrior Type Profession, right?”

Jian Ying glanced at the backs of the Senior Sister and Lu Fan, before calmly stating, “Not necessarily. Warrior Type Professions rarely wear cloth armour. But, she definitely has cloth armour on. She should be a Hidden Profession. But whether it’s Warrior Type or not, I wouldn’t be able to tell.”

Tao Xiaoman’s expression changed, becoming even more puzzled. Qin Qiu smiled and said, “Haiz. You don’t need to think too much. Maybe this teacher is new, or as Jian Ying said, she doesn’t actually have a Warrior Type Profession. Besides, there are so many teachers at Dragon Capital University. It’s completely normal for you to not recognise one of them.”

“That makes sense…” Tao Xiaoman nodded, deciding not to think about it anymore.

Meanwhile, on the other side…

Lu Fan, walking beside the Senior Sister, and he took the initiative to ask. “Senior Sister, what are you taking me to do this time? Why are we going to Dragon Capital for no reason?”

The Senior Sister let go of Lu Fan and said while walking, “What else can we do? Of course it’s to pick out a gift for you.”

“Gift? What gift!?” Lu Fan was confused.

She rolled her eyes at him and said, “I promised you before, if you could force me to use my Skills during our sparring, I would give you a small gift. Now, I’m taking you to buy that gift.”

“Huh!?” Lu Fan was stunned. “But when I sparred with you yesterday, I was still completely dominated by you, and didn’t force you to use a Skill… Hmm… What’s this?”

Lu Fan’s words were cut off halfway as the Beautiful Senior Sister suddenly stuffed a brochure into his hands.

Lu Fan took it and looked. It was a brochure for the Dragon Capital’s Prosperous Heaven Auction House.

Lu Fan knew about the Prosperous Heaven Auction House, it was one of the four major auction houses in Dragon Capital, holding a relatively large auction every week. Counting the days, today seemed to be the day of its weekly auction, and this brochure should be the list of items for this auction.

The Beautiful Senior Sister pointed at the brochure and said. “Take a look at the things inside.”

Lu Fan obediently opened up the brochure and scanned through it.

This auction had a total of twenty-three items, ranging from materials to Potions, equipment, and even Hidden Profession Skill Books. It could be said to be a dazzling sight, making anyone’s hearts flutter.

When Lu Fan looked at the last item, his eyelids twitched.

Because the star item of tonight’s auction was actually a No Level Requirement Enchantment Scroll!

Seeing Lu Fan’s change in expression, the Beautiful Senior Sister made a smug smile and said, “How about it, are you satisfied with this gift? I remember you saying what you wanted most is a No Level Requirement Enchantment Scroll, right? Even for auctions at the Dragon Capital, it’s only possible to have one No Level Requirement Enchantment Scroll up for auction every two or three years if you’re lucky. If you miss this Enchantment Scroll, who knows when the next one will come up.”

Saying this, the Beautiful Senior Sister spread her hands and said, “So, I have no choice but to give you this gift in advance. Otherwise, by the time you can force me to use a Skill to defend myself, it’ll be too late.”

The last sentence had a bit of a sarcastic tone to it.

However, Lu Fan did not mind. Instead, he looked at the Beautiful Senior Sister in disbelief and in shock.

The Beautiful Senior Sister blushed a little under Lu Fan’s intense gaze. She unconsciously touched her face and asked, “Why are you looking at me for? Is there a flower on my face?”

“There’s no flower, just that the sight is prettier than any flower.” Lu Fan flirted for a moment, then seriously questioned, “Senior Sister, you’re not joking with me, right? When I said I wanted a No Level Requirement Enchantment Scroll, I was just joking. Are you really going to give me one!?”

“You little…!” Being complimented as ‘prettier than any flower’ made the Senior Sister laugh as she scolded, “Although you claimed to be joking now, I can tell this thing is important to you. It is far more important than any equipment, right? Otherwise, out of so many valuable things, you wouldn’t have specifically mentioned the No Level Requirement Enchantment Scroll.”

Lu Fan pondered for a moment, then said. “Indeed, the No Level Requirement Enchantment Scroll is something I need… But this thing… is too expensive, even if you want to give it to me, I can’t accept it.”

Lu Fan knew just how ridiculous the price of this item was. To be placed as the star item in the Prosperous Heaven Auction House, it most likely costs billions of Dragon Coins.

This was no small amount, its value was even higher than the total of all the equipment Lu Fan had combined!

If it was something worth a few million or tens of millions, although expensive, Lu Fan could return the favour by giving a gift in return. However, for a No Level Requirement Enchantment Scroll, Lu Fan knew he would not be able to repay the favour.

Lu Fan’s words made the Beautiful Senior Sister raise her eyebrows. She smiled playfully, “Where did that enthusiasm go when you were asking me to guide you in combat techniques? By rights, if I give you a No Level Requirement Enchantment Scroll, you should ask me to throw in a Level 70 Diamond Grade weapon as well. That would be more your style, right?”

Lu Fan was immediately caught between laughter and tears. “In your heart, am I such a shameless person?”

“What do you think?” The Senior Sister nodded as though the answer was already obvious. It made Lu Fan even more speechless.

Silavin: ‘up for auction every two or three years if you’re lucky’ – Originally, stated to be 2-3 months but the next chapter made it seem rarer. So, I upped the rarity.
