Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 125, Soul Light and Divine Tree Of Life

Translator: Silavin

Behind Lu Fan, Jian Ying’s Hellfire Twin Scythes and Army Breaker Sword were already summoned.

The Hellfire Twin Scythes circled around the Army Breaker Sword, coating it with a layer of dark red flames.

Once both swords struck together, they could release an extremely powerful Skill, Hellfire Burst.

Unfortunately, although Jian Ying was ready to release her Skill, it was not her turn to act. This Level 60 Terror Boss had already been dealt with by Xiao Ye.

Although Lu Fan had also released a Skill, all the Damage Output was still done by Xiao Ye.

At the same time, Xiao Ye’s two Skills left a deep impression on Jian Ying.

These two Skills were not only powerful, but also had extremely strong Crowd Control Effects. The might of the Dragon Race was too terrifying…

Jian Ying cancelled the casting of her Skill, separating the Army Breaker Sword and Hellfire Twin Scythes. She glanced at Lu Fan with a slightly resentful look and said, “You said you’d let me supplement the damage, but I didn’t need to act at all… You, Xiao Cui and Xiao Ye could clear this Secret Realm by yourselves. It doesn’t matter whether I act or not.”

Lu Fan helplessly chuckled and said, “I didn’t expect the Berserk Bone Dragon to be so easy to defeat…”

This statement made the already taciturn Jian Ying even more speechless. [Oh please. Was it the Berserk Bone Dragon that was easy to defeat? It is clearly because Xiao Ye’s attack damage is too high!]

At this moment, Jian Ying also noticed that Xiao Cui’s appearance had changed somewhat after just Levelling Up, seemingly transforming from a Baby Dragon into a Child Dragon.

Jian Ying was quite curious and asked again, “Your Dragon just Levelled Up, why did her appearance change so much? Can she upgrade her Grade like my swords?”

Lu Fan beckoned to Xiao Cui and replied, “You could say it’s similar. Your swords increase in Grade every few Levels. My Dragons are the same, they will change from their Baby Dragon stage to the Growth Period as their Level increases. For Xiao Ye, she got into her Growth Period at Level 10. Xiao Cui matured a bit later. After reaching Level 15, she finally entered her Growth Period and her body has finally changed. I’ll take a look at her Attribute Panel to see how she differs from before the Level Up.”

Jian Ying nodded without speaking, observing Xiao Cui as she flew into Lu Fan’s arms, equally curious about how shocking her Attributes would be after Levelling Up.

Xiao Cui’s growth was really too slow. When Xiao Ye was Level 15, she was already an enormous creature. But Xiao Cui was only about half a person’s height. Jumping into Lu Fan’s arms, she was like a little girl that Lu Fan could easily pick up.

Lu Fan patted Xiao Cui’s head, then opened her Attribute Panel.

Sure enough, Xiao Cui’s Attribute Panel had undergone astonishing changes, making Lu Fan’s eyebrows twitch.

[Heaven Defying!] Apart from these two words, Lu Fan really could not imagine what other words could be used to describe Xiao Cui now.

[As the saying goes, good things come to those who wait. Although Xiao Cui entered her Growth Period much later than Xiao Ye, after seeing Xiao Cui’s current Attribute Panel, I can’t help but feel that it was all worth it!]

[Xiao Cui’s Attributes had a leap in improvement once she entered her Growth Period. Although her Attributes are still mainly focused on one area, as an almost Immortal Dragon, she realistically does not have much need for her other Attributes. Better yet, her most important Mana Attribute had reached as high as 3459 points! She surpasses Xiao Ye, who is currently Level 24! If all kinds of Buffs were added, breaking into five digits would be effortless!]

[The next major improvement would be all of Xiao Cui’s Skills. All of them have Levelled Up, and their Effects have been further enhanced.]

[Xiao Cui’s Form Transformations after entering her Growth Period is also a pleasant surprise. She is very similar to Xiao Ye. Apart from the Infant Form and Battle Form, she has developed two other Forms: Soul Light Form and Divine Tree Of Life Form. Both new Forms are absurdly powerful, potentially stronger than Xiao Ye’s two Forms!]

[The Soul Light Form means abandoning the physical body and attaching herself to teammates. While in this Form, she gains two new Skills. The first Skill, Soul Aegis, directly increased Attributes of said teammate by 100%, this kind of Enhancement is terrifying! At the same time, this Skill would generate a (Dragon Qi Defence) charge around the protected person every second. Though I don’t know exactly what effect this so-called (Dragon Qi Defence) has, I only need to do some experiments to find out.]

[Soul Aegis’s Effect is also doubled on those of Dragon Race and teammates with Dragon Bloodline. This means Soul Aegis would be able to increase me and Xiao Ye’s Attributes by 200%! Previously, with Xiao Cui’s Buffs, Xiao Ye’s top Attribute had already reached a terrifying peak of around 13,000. Now, with Xiao Cui’s Skills Levelling Up and the Enhancement Effect of Soul Aegis, Xiao Ye’s Combat Power would surge again by two times. Her top Attribute would soar to 40,000, heading towards 50,000!]

[With over 40,000 in Mana or Strength Attribute, forget about Third Profession Change Players, even Fourth Profession Change Players would not be able to withstand a single one of her attacks!]

[As for the other Skill available while in her Soul Light Form, Dragon Qi Impact, it looks similar to Soul Aegis. This time, it generates (Dragon Qi Attack) charges over time. However, the specifics still needed to be tested.]

[In any case, the Soul Light Form had taken the words ‘Combat Power Enhancement’ to the extreme.]

[Looking at the other Form, the Divine Tree Of Life Form, it is very different from the Soul Light Form. In this Form, Xiao Cui would transform into a Divine Tree Of Life, gaining the Passive called Life Pulse. Under the effect of Life Pulse, all of Xiao Cui’s Skills: Spring of Life, Jade Light, Jade Shield, Jade Blessing would be released on teammates every second, making her an almighty healer!]

[That was already incredible, but Life Pulse allows all her Buffs to stack twice. This means my teammates can have double the Jade Light Buffs like what I currently enjoy, double the number of Jade Shields, and double the number of attached Jade Dragon Qi! As for me and Xiao Ye, this would quadruple all Effects!]

[Xiao Cui’s Support Skills were already godly to the extreme. Now, with Life Pulse, she is like a nuclear power plant in the middle of the battlefield, constantly charging up her teammates. If a large-scale battle occurs, Xiao Cui could transform into a Divine Tree Of Life, take root, and continuously tick with Life Pulse, turning even the most disadvantageous battle around!]

[As for the second Skill… Well, it certainly has a relatively simple description. But, that just makes it all the harder to tell how much damage the Eternal Guardian Skill can withstand. To me, this Skill seems somewhat of a waste. After all, with how strong we are. If we are not actively chasing after others to kill them, it means we are being merciful. So, I doubt we’d get the chance to use Eternal Guardian.]

[The Divine Tree Of Life Form is best suited for large-scale team battles. It’s a pity that after transforming into a Divine Tree Of Life, Xiao Cui would not be able to move, unlike in her Soul Light Form, where she would be attached to someone else…]
