Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 146, Black Dragon Pressure, Instant Knockout of the Entire Arena

Translator: Silavin

As Xiao Ye switched to her World Destroyer Form, her Dragon Body turned pitch black, flickering with a dim radiance, as if forged entirely from metal. It gave her an even more powerful appearance.

At the same time, the pressure emanating from Xiao Ye became even more intense, completely different from before, as if she was a different Dragon.

At this point, Jiang Fengyun could no longer hold on. Faced with such a behemoth, he finally lost his footing and, like Xu Jing, fell to his knees with a thud, completely losing all courage to resist.

Even without Xiao Cui’s support, even without Lu Fan’s Dragon Encouragement, Xiao Ye’s Strength Attribute was now at a level that everyone present could only look up to. So much so that the arena stage, which could originally withstand the bombardment of many people’s Skills, was easily scratched when Xiao Ye slightly moved her toes. It was as if the solid stage was like tofu in front of her, crumbling at the slightest touch.

It was unimaginable what kind of scene it would be if one were to be hit by a swipe from such a being.

After switching to her World Destroyer Form, Lu Fan turned and walked towards the edge of the stage, while commanding, “Black Dragon Pressure.”

With these four simple words, Xiao Ye obeyed his command and released her newly learned Skill at Level 20, Black Dragon Pressure.

This Skill was comparable to Great Cataclysm. Although it did not deal much damage, the Crowd Control Effect of this Skill could not be underestimated.

Xiao Ye slightly closed her Dragon eyes, and when she reopened them, a particularly terrifying aura suddenly burst forth from her body!

Instantly, a massive pressure emanated from her, enveloping the entire arena in an instant.

Everyone present was eagerly anticipating seeing Xiao Ye, in action, to see just how powerful a true Giant Dragon was to become the mythical beings standing at the pinnacle of the world.

However, as soon as Xiao Ye’s Skill was unleashed, they were all affected.

Everyone saw this Black Dragon suddenly emitted a terrifyingly extremely strong pressure, which seemed to have developed into a substance. Waves of purplish black miasma constantly shooting outwards.

These waves of black energy furiously washed over everyone, as if the entire arena was enveloped in this purplish black gas, making it impossible for them to see anything clearly even with their eyes wide open.

Everyone could only see that in the centre of the constantly expanding purplish black gas was a Black Dragon lying in wait.

If this Black Dragon wished for it, it could effortlessly tear everyone here to shreds!

In everyone’s eyes, only this terrifying being remained, all other things were completely ignored. It seemed like the entire world only had themselves and this Black Dragon.

The pressure emanating from Xiao Ye made everyone feel that besides fear, there was nothing else in their hearts.

[What kind of Monstrosity is this!?]

Everyone was experiencing a fear they had never experienced in their lives, and this fear left their brains with no emotion other than dread.

Of course, there was no purplish black gas in the arena as seen in everyone’s eyes; it was all just a scene conjured up by their minds due to excessive fear. In short, the pressure they felt had already exceeded the limits of what they could bear.

The Effect of Black Dragon Pressure was determined by the Strength Attribute difference between the enemy and Xiao Ye.

Even though Xiao Ye’s Strength Attribute had not reached even a third of her maximum potential, since she did not receive any Buffs, they were still far beyond anyone present.

So, who could resist Black Dragon Pressure?

Without any suspense, as soon as the Black Dragon Pressure was released, everyone at the scene, with Arena No. 15 as the centre, trembled all over. All completely collapsed under the immense fear, falling down one by one like harvested wheat. Especially Jiang Fengyun and Xu Jing, who were closest to Xiao Ye, as well as those from Wind Cloud Pavilion, who surrounded the stage.

Due to their proximity, they bore the greatest pressure.

Even the teaching assistants in the distance could not withstand Xiao Ye’s Black Dragon Pressure, let alone them?

Those who suffered the most and were the first wave to succumb, falling unconscious.

Even as strong as Jiang Fengyun and Xu Jing were, they were no exception. After they fell, both foamed at the mouth, clearly not going to wake up anytime soon.

Since Jiang Fengyun and Xu Jing completely fainted, the arena’s system automatically made its judgement, declaring Lu Fan the winner of this sparring match.

The 18,000 University Points were all transferred into Lu Fan’s identity card, and at the same time, Lu Fan had already walked to the edge of the stage and jumped down.

The timing was just right. After jumping off the stage, Lu Fan waved his hand without looking back and said, “Let’s go, Xiao Ye. Your task is complete. Well done. When we get back, I’ll have Auntie make you some delicious food as a treat.”

Hearing Lu Fan’s call, Xiao Ye retracted her Black Dragon Pressure, then swept her gaze over the thousands of people she had knocked unconscious, seemingly in disdain. It was as though she was saying, ‘I had merely released my aura, yet these insects can’t even withstand it and all of them fainted from fear. Just how weak are they?]

Xiao Ye exhaled a flame from her nostrils, then directly transformed into her Infant Form. She flapped her wings to fly and catch up with Lu Fan. Even though she could fly, she still squeezed into Lu Fan’s clothes, cuddling while hitching a ride.

Lu Fan did not pay much attention to the thousands of people who had fainted at the scene, Naturally, members of Wind Cloud Pavilion were also not his concern.

Black Dragon Pressure was just a Crowd Control Skill that did not deal any substantial damage. Everyone would be fine once they woke up. Thus, Lu Fan was not worried about them being injured.

The Wind Cloud Pavilion issue had been resolved, and Lu Fan had gained 18,000 University Points, which could be considered a huge boon.

Later, he plans on distributing these points among Auntie, Qin Qiu, and Tao Xiaoman, so they could all go and lavishly clear the Poison Spider Forest Dungeon Instance, quickly levelling up.

As for now, Lu Fan did not choose to return to Villa No. 1, but instead went directly to the second floor. He opened up a VIP Arena, and waited for that Senior Sister to arrive.

The main purpose of Lu Fan’s visit to the arena this time was still to find the Senior Sister. Dealing with Wind Cloud Pavilion and getting their points was just something he did along the way.

As soon as Lu Fan went up to the second floor, a bolt of lightning jumped continuously on the first floor, finally landing on Arena No. 15.

After the lightning dissipated, it revealed Zhao Shengming.

Looking at all the unconscious people at the scene, Zhao Shengming could not help but feel his scalp tingle.

He did not understand the full Effect of Xiao Ye’s Black Dragon Pressure. However, just seeing so many people being affected and fainting made him realise the situation would be very tricky to deal with.

Zhao Shengming quickly went to check on Jiang Fengyun, Xu Jing, and the others. He found that everyone was just frightened into fainting. They did not suffer any real injury, which put his mind at ease.

“Seems like he knows how to control his powers, and managed to not injure anyone.” Zhao Shengming sighed in relief, but then looked at the thousands of unconscious people and smiled helplessly.

Although no one was injured, having so many people frightened unconscious by a Black Dragon was still not a small matter…

[The principal should have really listened to me and fully intervened. It wouldn’t have ended up like this if we did so.] Still, now that the situation was like this, Zhao Shengming had no choice. He could only helplessly take out his phone and call the Priests from the medical bay to come quickly and see if they could use Purify to remove everyone’s Frightened Statuses and wake them up sooner.

…

Meanwhile, Lu Fan had been sitting at the edge of the VIP Arena, waiting for quite a long time.

Finally, as the Transport Array lit up, a beautiful mature woman arrived.

Seeing this, Lu Fan immediately stood up to greet her, smiling and saying, “Senior Sister, you really came.”

The Beautiful Senior Sister made a small smile and said, “I’m quite free today, so I came. By the way, you opened a VIP Arena just to wait for me?”

Lu Fan nodded and said, “Yes. Sparring with others isn’t very interesting. It is only by sparring with you that I can quickly get stronger.”

Saying this, Lu Fan looked the Beautiful Senior Sister up and down and said in surprise, “Senior Sister, you sure are impressive, your Level is actually above 70. You don’t look much older than me, so how is your Level so high?”

As soon as Lu Fan said this, the Beautiful Senior Sister was stunned and instinctively said, “How do you know I’m above Level 70… Oh, I see, you little rascal, you actually set a trap for me!”

She realised halfway through her sentence what Lu Fan had done. Lu Fan smiled without speaking. After all, he had indeed set a trap for her.

He had reserved this VIP Arena and set the Open Ring to have a Level Requirement of above Level 70. That was why no one had entered this Open Ring for so long.

Generally, even graduating University students would only be around Level 40 or 50, and only rare geniuses might be able to break through to undergo their Third Profession Change.

Lu Fan setting the Level requirement to 70 directly locked out the Level whereby ordinary students simply would not be able to enter.

Since she could enter, it meant that her Level was definitely above 70.

This was very frightening. Lu Fan saw that this Beautiful Senior Sister looked even younger than his Auntie. So, it was unexpected for her Level was to be so high.

It was said that Profession Change Players with High Levels also have longer lifespans, and their youth would get extended significantly. So, some High Level Profession Change Players typically look young for their age, even when they were frighteningly old.

[I wonder if this Beautiful Senior Sister is the same?] Thinking of this, Lu Fan tentatively asked, “Senior Sister, um… I wonder if you could tell me, what Level are you exactly, how old are you this year, and which subject are you teaching in the University…”

“What are you doing? So eager to know about me?” The Beautiful Senior Sister unhappily glared at Lu Fan.

Lu Fan quickly smiled apologetically and said, “I’m just really curious…”

The Beautiful Senior Sister rolled her eyes at him and said, crossing her arms, “Of the questions you asked, I only have one answer – G!”

“What G?” Lu Fan was confused.

The Beautiful Senior Sister rolled her eyes again. “If you don’t understand, forget it. In the future, don’t try to be clever by setting Level restrictions. If I see you setting such Level Requirements again, I won’t come in.”

“Uh…” Lu Fan had originally planned to try setting it to Level 80 next time to see if he could keep her out of the Open Ring, but his plan had fallen through.

He scratched his head and said, “Then when I open an arena, I still need to set a minimum Level Requirement, right? Otherwise, people will keep coming into my VIP Arena to challenge me, and you’ll have to queue up to come here, Senior Sister…”
