Chapter 136, Star Dragon King – Incarnation of Starlight

Lu Fan was not in a rush, so he naturally agreed to let Hei Shu return to the camp he had set up to pack up his things.

Secret Realm Hunters were working hard to make a living, having to explore uncharted areas in the Wilderness every day to search for Dungeon Instances and Secret Realms. Their camping equipment was like their rice bowl. It could not be lost.

After Hei Shu Skillfully packed everything up, he then took out Scroll Crafting Tools and Materials from his Inventory and created a Transport Array on the spot.

Stepping onto this Transport Array, Lu Fan, Jian Ying, and Hei Shu were immediately teleported to Dragon Capital University.

Afterwards, Hei Shu took out a document for Lu Fan to sign, proving that their Secret Realm Hunters Guild had safely brought them back. Only then did he prepare to use a Transfer Stone to leave and return to the Monster Material Hunter Guild to report.

Before leaving, Lu Fan used his phone to add Hei Shu’s contact information and sent him the names of some Treasure Map locations from his System.

Hei Shu glanced at it and nodded, saying, “This is the list, right? Okay, I’ve noted them down. When I get back to the Monster Material Hunter Guild, I’ll help you check the data and records. I’ll also ask around to see if I can help you find these places. When the time comes, you can just transfer the Dragon Coins to me via my phone number. By the way, I will only be in the city for two or three days a month on average. Most of the time, I’m out in the Wilderness without any phone signal. So, I can’t really say when I’ll be able to reply to you.”

Lu Fan smiled and said, “No problem, I’m not in a hurry. Whenever you find the locations of these areas, just let me know.”

“Alright, no problem. See you next time.” Hei Shu waved, took out a Transfer Stone, crushed it, and teleported away.

By now, night had fully fallen. Lu Fan called out to Jian Ying, suggesting they quickly return to Villa No. 1.

At this hour, they might still be able to catch a dinner made by Han Ke.

Jian Ying responded with an “En”, not being overly Formal with Lu Fan. The two walked side by side towards Villa No. 1.

Upon returning to the villa, they really managed to catch dinner.

Han Ke and the others were surprised and delighted that Lu Fan and Jian Ying had returned so quickly.

Han Ke hurriedly made a few more dishes, as a welcome back meal for Lu Fan and Jian Ying. At the same time, Qin Qiu and Tao Xiaoman also asked about their gains from this trip to the Flying Dragon Cemetery.

Lu Fan thought for a moment and said they had gained quite a lot, but most of it could not be used right away.

If he had to mention gains, it would be that he and Jian Ying were now Level 28 and 27 respectively, almost ready for their Second Profession Change. Also, he had gained a Skill to summon two Flying Dragon Kings, which would make clearing Dungeon Instances much easier in the future.

Since Flying Dragon Kings were too large to fly around in the villa, everyone who wanted to see what they looked like would have to wait until they did a Poison Spider Forest run.

After dinner, Lu Fan excused himself, saying he was tired and needed rest. He immediately returned to his room, closed the door, and took out the Dragon Egg he had obtained from his System Sub-Space.

The Dragon Egg looked impressive, like a work of art, but it was unclear what kind of Dragon it housed.

Lu Fan looked at the Egg’s Attribute Panel:

Dragon Egg: (Epic Grade Special Item)
Description: Dragon Taming Skill can be used on it to tame it. Upon successful use, obtain Pet Dragon – Star Dragon (Infant Form)

Lu Fan raised an eyebrow, feeling a bit disappointed. After all, this Dragon Egg was only an Epic Grade Special Item.

The previous Dragon Eggs he got, of Xiao Cui and Xiao Ye, were both Mythical Grades! It was a difference of one Grade. It was clear without saying that the Combat Power of the hatched Giant Dragon would be a lot lower.

Instantly, Lu Fan’s initial excitement and joy were dampened.

If others saw Lu Fan complaining about obtaining a Star Dragon, they would definitely want to give him a piece of their mind. They would scold him to the High Heavens, ‘Brother, this is a Dragon! A bloody Dragon! A Star Dragon is also a Pure Blood Giant Dragon! When it grows up, it will overwhelm an entire country! Yet, you’re actually complaining? No. You dare to complain!?’

Lu Fan sighed again, but finally decided to use Dragon Taming on this Dragon Egg. [After all, it is still a Pure Blood Giant Dragon, right?]

Just as Lu Fan was about to use Dragon Taming, he suddenly stopped. Because he remembered that he had something he could use.

With that thought, an item from his Inventory appeared in Lu Fan’s hand.

It was the Divine Tree Essence.

Lu Fan studied this Divine Tree Essence for a moment and suddenly had an idea. [If the Divine Tree Essence could raise the Grade of an item, could it perhaps upgrade the Grade of this Dragon Egg? I need to check!]

Lu Fan studied the Divine Tree Essence and finally understood how to use it.

As Lu Fan applied force with his hand, he gently squeezed, and the Divine Tree Essence made a crisp *crack* sound. Then, a pure Life Essence leaked out. Under Lu Fan’s guidance, it slowly entered the Star Dragon Egg.

Subsequently, the Star Dragon Egg absorbed this Life Essence, and began to emit a pulsing light, like it was breathing.

The star-like points of light on the Dragon Egg grew brighter. Lu Fan could feel as if he was experiencing an illusion, seeing the points of light on the Dragon Egg move like real stars. They were constantly colliding, extinguishing, and giving birth to new stars.

After a full half hour, the Divine Tree Essence had completely disappeared, and the Dragon Egg in Lu Fan’s hand had also subdued in its radiance.

Although the size of the Dragon Egg had not changed, Lu Fan noticed that the patterns on the Dragon Egg were completely different from before.

Previously, the Dragon Egg was covered in points of starlight, but now, the stars had gathered in one place, Forming a galaxy, nurturing countless nebulae, appearing even more profound. At the centre of this Dragon Egg seemed to be a black hole-like power, able to pull even stars towards it.

[It worked!?] Lu Fan gulped and looked at the Dragon Egg again.

Dragon Egg: (Mythical Grade Special Item)
Description: Dragon Taming Skill can be used on it to tame it. Upon successful use, obtain Pet Dragon – Star Dragon King – Incarnation of Starlight (Infant Form)

Lu Fan was overjoyed.

The Divine Tree Essence had really worked wonders! It had actually transformed an Epic Grade Dragon Egg into a Mythical Grade Dragon Egg!

The name of the Pet Dragon had also changed from Star Dragon to Star Dragon King – Incarnation of Starlight. It proved what was incubating inside this Dragon Egg was no longer just an ordinary Star Dragon, but a Star Dragon King!

He did not know what traits this Star Dragon King would have, or what kind of surprises it would bring. However, he no longer hesitated and immediately used Dragon Taming on it, intending to hatch his third Baby Dragon.
