Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 115, Dragon Language Magic, Rage of the Ice Dragon King!

Translator: Silavin

As Lu Fan watched the Armoured Earth Dragon charging towards him, he could not help but feel pity for it.

By now, Lu Fan could see that Jin Zhu’s Profession as truly sinister. Her method of Buffing her teammates came at a cost, which was pain.

As a Dragon Tamer, even though this Armoured Earth Dragon was not his Pet Dragon, Lu Fan could still sense how much it was suffering.

If it was a true Giant Dragon, this type of Buff would be completely resisted by its Dragon Bloodline. After all, the Dragon Race has always been proud. They would never accept their noble bodies getting corrupted by Dark Magic.

Unfortunately, this Armoured Earth Dragon was not a true member of the Dragon Race, and could only allow Jin Zhu to alter its body with her Skills, turning it into this Half-Dragon, Half-Demon like Monster.

[A pity that this is your fate. A pity to be obtained by the Jin Family when you were still in your Egg…] Lu Fan sighed, planning to help this Armoured Earth Dragon quickly find release.

In the blink of an eye, the Armoured Earth Dragon was upon him, its massive body crashing towards Lu Fan.

At the same time, black energy shrouded its body, clearly indicating that this attack carried additional effects.

Lu Fan’s Flash Spirit Combat Boots flashed with electric arcs, and at the crucial moment, Flash Spirit Leap was activated.

His body instantly disappeared, reappearing fifty metres away in an open space.

Seeing Lu Fan choose to retreat, Jin Zhu thought he knew he was outmatched and had become timid.

She was almost frenzied, shouting at Lu Fan, “Lu Fan, aren’t you supposed to be very strong? Aren’t you strong enough to contend with an Earth Dragon!? Why are you backing down now? Is it because you know that after getting Buffed by me, this Armoured Earth Dragon is no longer something you can handle?! If that’s the case, summon your Black Dragon King out! I want it to kill your Black Dragon King! I want to make you a worthless nobody again!”

As if to echo Jin Zhu’s words, the Armoured Earth Dragon, which had already smashed deep craters into the hard stage, turned towards Lu Fan. It continuously spewed black energy from its mouth.

Lu Fan shook his head and smiled, still as calm as ever: “Although your Profession is quite sinister, it does work well with this Earth Dragon. You’ve boosted its Strength Attribute to a level even higher than mine.”

He paused, then smiled even more, “But who told you that just because its Strength Attribute is higher than mine, makes this Dragon a match for me? You, Chen Tianzhi, and this Lizard are not worthy of seeing my Black Dragon King!”

After saying this, Lu Fan’s clothes began to flutter without the wind, and the surrounding temperature suddenly dropped.

Snowflakes appeared out of thin air, forming around Lu Fan and slowly drifting down. Everyone present felt the temperature in the arena suddenly drop by dozens of degrees. Many people shivered, feeling as if they had been thrown into an ice cellar.

The Armoured Earth Dragon seemed to sense the danger too. It roared angrily, not daring to delay, and pounced towards Lu Fan again.

However, Lu Fan’s Skill had already been unleashed.

“Rage of the Ice Dragon King!” With Lu Fan’s low roar, a Blue Giant Dragon phantom appeared in the air above the stage.

This blue Giant Dragon was identical to the Giant Dragons in myths, a true Pure Blooded Giant Dragon.

Lu Fan knew deep down that this must be the Ice Dragon King.

Its appearance was very different from Xiao Ye and Xiao Cui, but undoubtedly, every part of it was so perfect. It was filled with indescribable beauty, like the most perfect Life Form born in this world.

Even though it was just a phantom manifestation, it still mesmerised many with its beauty.

[Now this is a true Giant Dragon… Compared to it, Chen Tianzhi’s Armoured Earth Dragon is really just a Lizard…]

After the Ice Dragon King’s phantom appeared, everyone felt their breathing become more rapid.

“Is this Lu Fan’s Dragon?! It’s too cool…”

“Yeah, it’s exactly the same as the Dragons of legends, a hundred times, no, a thousand times cooler than Chen Tianzhi’s Earth Dragon!”

“No, look! It doesn’t have a physical body! It’s just a phantom manifestation of a Dragon. In other words, it isn’t a Dragon at all, it should be a Skill.”

“What!? Just a Skill!? That means Lu Fan still has not summoned his Giant Dragon yet!? Damn! I’m really curious now. If I could see what Lu Fan’s Giant Dragon looks like, I’d die happy right now.”

“Look, that phantom Ice Dragon is moving! Is the Skill about to activate?”

“It’s really… Oh my god, what is that!?”

The whole arena erupted in exclamations because at this moment, the Ice Dragon King’s phantom had begun to move.

Seeing the Armoured Earth Dragon flying towards Lu Fan, Rage of the Ice Dragon King was directly activated by Lu Fan. The Ice Dragon King phantom opened its Dragon Jaws and breathed out a mouthful of Dragon Breath.

*Whoosh~~* In an instant, ice and snow intermingled, and an eruption of cold air exploded within a hundred metre radius, centred on the Armoured Earth Dragon.

Within the range covered by the cold air, ice and snow cut through the air like small knives. They made *swoosh swoosh swoosh* sounds that set people’s teeth on edge.

The ice and snow were incredibly powerful, cutting small openings all over the Armoured Earth Dragon’s body except for its back, which had the highest defence.

Before the Armoured Earth Dragon’s wounds could even start bleeding, the cold air had already covered its body with a thick layer of frost.

It took only three seconds after the cold air blast for the Armoured Earth Dragon to turn into a giant ice sculpture, frozen in place and unable to move.

At this point, the phantom manifestation of the Ice Dragon King gradually dissipated.

Although the phantom manifestation had dispersed, Rage of the Ice Dragon King still persisted.

On the stage, a hundred metre radius area was completely enveloped in icy mist. Although there were no knife-like snowflakes falling, the cold air in this area still lingered.

Undoubtedly, this area covered by cold air had probably become a Forbidden Zone. If anyone were to enter before the cold air completely dissipated, the Armoured Earth Dragon would serve as an example.

Even if one’s Mana Attribute and Ice Element Resistance were high enough, making contact with this cold air would probably result in being afflicted with Slow, Frostbite, or other similar Debuffs…

At this point, it was obvious that the Ice Dragon King that had appeared by earlier was not Lu Fan’s Pet Dragon, but rather Lu Fan’s Skill.

This made all the spectators even more shocked.

Everyone had seen Lu Fan contend with the Armoured Earth Dragon with his Strength alone earlier. They thought that although Lu Fan was a Dragon Tamer, he should be considered a Warrior Type Profession. Otherwise, where would he get such High Strength Attribute to physically clash with a behemoth like the Armoured Earth Dragon?

As a result, Lu Fan used his actions to refresh everyone’s understanding. [You thought I was a Warrior? I apologise but I can also cast Dragon Language Magic! Moreover, my Dragon Language Magic is strong beyond belief!]

Many High Level Mage Profession Change Players present were all shocked when they saw Lu Fan’s Rage of the Ice Dragon King. As Mages, they naturally knew how terrifying this Skill was.

Almost everyone could feel that Lu Fan’s Mana Attribute far surpassed theirs just by glancing at the power of this Skill!

Earlier, Lu Fan had already demonstrated his extremely High Strength Attribute, and now, he was showing this astonishing Mana Attribute!

Was there really such a monstrous Profession in this world, and such a freakish Player? Having just a High Strength Attribute was one thing, but to cast such an overpowered Magic Skill as well!?

At this moment, looking at the Armoured Earth Dragon frozen into an ice sculpture, Jin Zhu and Chen Tianzhi were both shocked for words.

The Armoured Earth Dragon’s weakness had been its Mana Attribute and Magic Resistance. But neither of them had expected Lu Fan to cast Dragon Language Magic!

After a moment of shock, Jin Zhu immediately looked at Chen Tianzhi and angrily scolded, “What are you doing!? Quickly make the Armoured Earth Dragon break free from Lu Fan’s Skill’s Area of Effect!”

Chen Tianzhi’s face was pale. After sensing for a moment, he declared, “I… I can’t do it. The Crowd Control Effect of this Skill is too strong. With the Armoured Earth Dragon’s abilities, it’s impossible to escape…”

Jin Zhu wanted to scold him but did not know where to start. She gritted her teeth and waved her staff again, wanting to use her own Skills to see if she could fight poison with poison and remove the Freeze on the Armoured Earth Dragon.

However, as soon as her Magic entered the range of the cold air, it was immediately devoured by the cold air, having no effect at all.

This made Jin Zhu’s face even uglier. She knew that this had occurred because Lu Fan’s Mana Attribute far exceeded hers. [How is that possible!?]

Lu Fan’s next actions told Jin Zhu how it was possible!

Although Rage of the Ice Dragon King was strong, it was only an Ice Element Crowd Control Skill.

However, Lu Fan’s Dragon Language Magic was not only limited to just one type. He had another one, Roar of the Blue Dragon King. This was not a Crowd Control Skill.

Originally, due to the Rage of the Ice Dragon King Skill, the temperature at the scene had already plummeted. Many people with Low Magic Resistance could not help but shiver all over, with frost covering their eyelashes and hair.

But suddenly, everyone saw blue electric arcs starting to appear around Lu Fan, clearly a sign that another Skill was about to be casted.

“No way, is Lu Fan going to cast another Magic Skill?”

“Heavens… Lu Fan, as a Dragon Tamer, you don’t even summon your Dragon. You’d rather first physically contend against another Dragon, and now, you are about to bombard with Magic! Is he really a Dragon Tamer, a Dragon Blood Warrior, or a Dragon Language Mage?”

“He is definitely the most unorthodox Dragon Tamer in existence. He refrain from summoning his Dragon from start to finish. But then again, he’s really too strong. His Strength Attribute can contend with an Earth Dragon, and his Mana Attribute is ridiculously high. Just a single Dragon Language Magic Skill that can even completely disable an Earth Dragon. This is simply outrageous!”

“I feel like his next Skill seems to be a Lightning Element Dragon Language Magic… The Ice Element Crowd Control Skill is already so strong. Now, he can even cast a Lightning Element Dragon Language Magic Skill, which is said to be the most powerful… My god, I can’t even imagine…”

“Although we haven’t seen Lu Fan’s Dragon, I have to say he’s really surprising. Is this the true power of a Dragon Tamer? Even without using a Dragon, he’s overwhelmingly strong. Compared to him, Chen Tianzhi is just weak…”

“Actually, it’s not that Chen Tianzhi is weak. I feel that Chen Tianzhi is what I’d expect for a standard Dragon Tamer. But it is Lu Fan that’s the problem. He’s not a Dragon Tamer. He’s a freak of nature!”
