I Became The Chief Of A Primitive Village

Chapter 401, Holding a Grudge

*Roar roar roar!* The River Crocodile King continued to scream in pain. The power of the combat knife was not to be underestimated!

The bone knife was not able to pierce its scales, but the combat knife did it with ease! Moreover, before Ye Jiu stabbed it, she had used the Power from her Totem Mark.

If she could not pierce it in that state, the River Crocodile King’s scales would be even harder than that of Stone Armoured Crocodiles.

The River Crocodile King continued to violently shake, using its four limbs to try to flip over and throw Ye Jiu off its back.

But before it could completely turn over, she had already retrieved her combat knife with a powerful pull and jumped off its back.

*Boom!* Just as Ye Jiu jumped away, the River Crocodile King succeeded in flipping over, but there was no one on its back. It was a meaningless flip.

Though its body was very bulky, it could run extremely quickly. That could not be said to be the same for then it turned over – I was rather clumsy in this regard.

After flipping over and falling into the water, it exposed its yellow belly. With its four limbs flailing, it was trying to turn back over.

Sha Hong had already foreseen the River Crocodile King’s movements and took out another bone knife. She spun it around her fingers, and prepared to launch another attack.

*Step step step…* At this moment, the River Crocodile King had its belly exposed, which was its most vulnerable part, with only soft scales protecting it.

Without a combat knife, Sha Hong could only use the bone knife to attack the River Crocodile King’s belly. That was the only way for her to injure it.

Sha Hong gripped the bone knife and fiercely charged toward the River Crocodile King, stabbing down.

A large cut spread.

The bone knife easily pierced the River Crocodile King’s belly, and instantly, a large amount of blood gushed out.

In just the blink of an eye, the river water around the River Crocodile King was dyed red.

*Roar roar roar…* Since its belly was cut open, the River Crocodile King let out painful screams and kept rolling around.

Its screams were extremely loud and soul stirring, and its four limbs and tail constantly slapped around. In an instant, water splashed in all directions.

Just as it was about to roll over, Sha Hong made an agile jump away from the area around it to avoid being crushed.

After the River Crocodile King turned over, it looked unwilling to give up. It still continued to open its bloody mouth, rushing toward Sha Hong.

Maybe to it, nothing else mattered. It had to at least take vengeance on this woman, who had cut its belly open!

*Roar roar roar…*

*Step step step…*

Despite its wound, its charge was not slow. Its four limbs moved quickly, constantly advancing toward the Sha Hong, with its mouth open like a black hole, wanting to suck her in.

Sha Hong would certainly not sit and wait for death. With her agile movements, she had already bent her knees and jumped away from danger.

When the River Crocodile King charged over, it used its huge claws and thick tail.

When a claw came down, the water on the river surface splashed open, revealing the soil underneath. When the tail swung by, river water splashed far away, with even some of the soil beneath.

If these two attacks hit someone, the consequences would be unimaginable; if not death, then likely severe disability.

Seeing that it could not catch Sha Hong, the River Crocodile King turned and rushed toward Ye Jiu, also opening its bloody mouth and swinging its huge tail.

*Step step step…*

*Roar roar roar…*

Ye Jiu had already prepared and jumped toward the side, perfectly avoiding the attack.

With this opening, two attacks landed simultaneously, with undisputable lethality.

“Be careful, it is enraged. It can no longer think rationally.” Sha Hong reminded.

“Don’t worry, a beast that has lost its mind is nothing to be feared.” Ye Jiu swung the combat knife in her hand, ready to launch another attack.

Obviously, the River Crocodile King had been completely enraged, enduring the severe pain and continuing to attack the two.

But it had already lost its rationality, its tail swung frantically, and its claws grabbing at whatever it saw. Now, these attacks were easier to avoid. This was proved by the two women as they easily dodged all its attacks.

*Step step step* Ye Jiu was not one to simply wait for the opponent to take the initiative. She typically wanted to make her opponents play to her tune. She swung the combat knife in her hand and began to quickly act.

To ensure the integrity of its hide, she did not directly cut off its tail. Instead, she jumped high and inserted the combat knife into the same spot.

*Roar roar roar…* The River Crocodile King screamed in pain; this stab was a hundred times more painful than the first one.

The wolf eared girl did not stop her attack because of the opponent’s pain. She firmly gripped the handle of the combat knife and forcefully twisted it.

This twist was no small matter; after the twist, the River Crocodile King’s screams intensified, loud enough for people on the shore to have their hearts freeze.

Sha Hong was not idle either. She took her bone knife and ran toward the River Crocodile King.

Swinging the bone knife in her hand, she also stabbed it into the other side of the River Crocodile King’s head.

*Roar roar roar…* The consecutive attacks from the two left the River Crocodile King overwhelmed. After screaming several times, it lay flat on the water’s surface.

Ye Jiu put away the combat knife in her hand, preparing to give the opponent the final blow, not allowing it any chance to breathe.

Sha Hong did the same, pulling out her bone knife, preparing to deliver a blow to the opponent’s throat.

Just as the two had pulled out all their weapons, the smell of blood emanating from the River Crocodile King attracted more piranhas.

Because the wound on its belly continued to emit fresh blood, and the new wound on its head was also continuously bleeding, those piranhas, smelling blood, went into a frenzy. They rushed over in groups without regard for anything.

In their eyes, they only saw those bleeding spots. After all, that was the only spot where they could eat their fill. The other spots with scales were questionable whether they could bite through to get a taste of flesh.

*Splash splash…*

The school of piranhas, like an army of ants, swam uniformly toward the River Crocodile King.

All the piranhas opened their mouths, their sharp teeth grinding against each other, constantly making rustling sounds.

Sha Hong forcefully kicked away those piranhas that swam over and lifted the River Crocodile King.

If they did not lift it in time, it would likely be devoured completely by the piranhas.

Ye Jiu helped as well, frantically kicking away those approaching piranhas, trying her best to prevent them from getting close.

Otherwise, not only would the River Crocodile King be eaten away, but they themselves would also be in mortal danger.

Because they had also been contaminated with some of the River Crocodile King’s blood, they had to quickly leave.

*Step step step…* The two carried the River Crocodile King and quickly left the river, placing it on the shore.
