Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 1702: Chapter 1606: Calling for Reinforcements

Huo Sining heard this and immediately revealed a strange smile. She nodded and said to the foreigner:

”To the consulate, then please go ahead, sir. We’ll be waiting right here!”

With that, Huo Sining shrugged and pulled Su Qingqing back into the booth to sit down.

The foreigner saw Huo Sining’s ”arrogant” attitude and was thoroughly annoyed. He immediately took out his phone to call the organizer, hoping the Huaxia head of FLW could help handle this matter and give them an explanation.

Huo Sining had already told the foreigner to do whatever he wanted. Of course, Su Qingqing’s other friends knew Huo Sining’s identity. The fact that the harassed foreigner was bothering Secretary Su’s daughter alone was enough to make that foreigner suffer!

With Huo Sining behaving nonchalantly, the friends naturally weren’t eager to urge things on. They exchanged glances, their eyes filled with mischievous glimmers, waiting to see the drama unfold.

The bar, of course, wanted to calm things down. But as Huaxia people, they felt disdain for the foreigner’s behavior, especially seeing the foreigner get beaten by a drunken woman and how the two women seemed indifferent, clearly unfazed by the foreigners’ status.

The people inside the bar were sharp-eyed. Just by looking at Huo Sining and Su Qingqing’s attire and demeanor, they knew they weren’t ordinary people.

Since these two women had some backing, the bar decided not to intervene and let the two parties handle it privately.

Huo Sining was just waiting for someone from the other side to come over. But, since it was already past ten at night, they had waited for a full hour before anyone finally arrived.

Three people arrived, and the person leading them should be one of the FLW heads. He hurriedly came over, heading straight to where the foreigners were, with an anxious look on his face as he asked, ”Edwin, how’s it going? Is the injury serious? Should we take you to the hospital first?”

Over there, Edwin had an arm hanging limp, unable to exert force. Seeing the head come over, his expression was so dark it seemed like water could drip from his face. He looked at the tightly closed booth door and snorted coldly:

”No, it’s just a dislocation. It can be handled later. Let’s settle this matter first. Those two ***** dared to hit me—they mustn’t be let off lightly!”

Hearing this, the head’s expression changed dramatically: ”Dislocation, at such a critical moment? Your arm is dislocated, how will you hold the rod with strength tomorrow? You won’t be able to reel in bigger fish!”

As soon as these words were out, Edwin’s expression grew even darker. He was well aware that due to this incident, tomorrow’s match would surely fail. Precisely because of this, he was even more unwilling to let it go.

He wanted to harass the woman but ended up publicly taught a lesson and beaten. If it were in normal times, he might have left in embarrassment with his companions, but this time was different. He was here to participate in a match, and because of this incident, his chances of winning tomorrow became almost zero.

”I don’t need you to remind me of this, Matthew. You’re the safety head for us this time. Now that I’m injured, if you can’t get me justice or give a reasonable explanation, I will complain to FLW headquarters. Believe me, headquarters will give you severe punishment!”

Edwin’s face twisted as he looked at Matthew coldly.

Matthew involuntarily shuddered and quickly explained with an apologetic smile, ”Don’t worry, I’m here to handle this for you. I certainly won’t let you suffer!”

With that, Matthew brought over the two people behind him, introducing them to Edwin and the other two fishing teammates:

”Let me introduce you. This is Vice Consul Mr. Klimo from the consulate, responsible for liaison. This is Director Fu Yuanshan, who’s in charge of the Magic Capital area’s security. They’re here to help you resolve this matter.”

Vice Consul Klimo quickly nodded to show his stance: ”Edwin, if you have any requests, just voice them. I’ll do my best to mediate for you!”

Fu Yuanshan, however, chuckled and said, ”Mr. Klimo, before we know the whole situation, don’t rush to make a statement. Let’s ask what exactly happened first. Mr. Edwin, can you tell us in detail about what happened?”

Klimo’s expression paused hearing Fu Yuanshan’s words, showing a trace of awkwardness in his eyes.

Edwin couldn’t help but look over at Fu Yuanshan, but soon his lips curled into a sneer:

”Director, do we need to say what happened? The fact is, I was beaten by a drunken Huaxia woman, even to the point of dislocation. But I’m participating in the FLW match tomorrow, and this woman delayed my chance to win this year, causing me to lose the million-dollar prize at FLW!”

Fu Yuanshan, having often dealt with these foreigners, knew well what kind of character they had. Upon hearing Edwin’s words, his expression remained unchanged while his eyes showed indifference:

”Mr. Edwin, I think you’ve got it wrong. Our Huaxia women are like bunnies—they have self-awareness in the face of a physique like yours. Under normal circumstances, they absolutely wouldn’t try to fight Schwarzenegger. Unless there was some special situation that forced them to act, which is why I want to clear up whether there is some misunderstanding here?”

”Misunderstanding?!” Edwin was almost exploding with rage. ”Klimo, is this the Huaxia official you brought for coordination? I’ve been dislocated, haven’t you seen it? I’m telling you now, what I want is results. I’m giving you ten minutes to bring that woman out to apologize and pay me fifty, no, a hundred thousand in mental damages, or else this isn’t over with you!”

Upon hearing Edwin demanding a hundred grand in compensation, even Klimo and Matthew’s faces changed simultaneously. On the other hand, Fu Yuanshan’s eyes revealed disdain, thinking to himself that these folks were trying to extort that drunken Huaxia woman.

”We’re only hearing your side of the story. To resolve this, I think we should first hear what the beating party has to say.”

Fu Yuanshan smiled lightly and, following the bar manager’s guidance, pushed open the booth where Huo Sining and her group were.
