Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

Koray’s memories flowed endlessly in Wen Yu’s mind like a movie, from his birth to his death, all revealed to Wen Yu.

The customs of the Demon Realm, the distribution of forces within the Demon Realm, the basic understandings of the Demon Realm—these things are nothing strange. After Wen Yu acquired the Soul Abiogenetic Creation Skill, he has reviewed the memories of the Demon Tribe more than once. To be honest, regarding the basic understanding of the Demon Realm, Wen Yu now knows no less than Koray.

However, there is Koray’s identity—a disciple of Legas indeed offers some conveniences. From Koray’s memory, Wen Yu discovered a few noteworthy matters too.

For example—the Demon Clan Army and the Demon Palace.

The Demon Palace worships the Demon Lord. Simply put, the entire Demon Palace is equivalent to the personal force of the Demon Lord. Even within the Demon Realm, the Demon Palace is a mysterious and untouchable existence. There are countless experts inside, and according to Koray’s knowledge, there are already three known Level 11 demon fiends among them.

However, the status of the Demon Palace is transcendent and usually does not participate in external wars. The management of external wars has always been the responsibility of the immense Demon Clan Army!

The Demon Lord has long ceased to be concerned with mundane affairs. Under such circumstances, the Demon Clan Army has taken on the important responsibility of governing the Demon Realm and external wars.

The entire Demon Clan Army is managed by the Topmost 7-Member Council composed of seven Level 11 powerful experts who make decisions together. Koray’s teacher, the Chief Commanding Officer in the Battle Zone Africa, Legas, is one of them.

However, from Koray’s memory, Wen Yu could tell that even the seven super powerful experts of the Demon Clan Army are not on equal footing—Legas, whether in terms of personal strength or influence, is at the bottom of the Topmost 7-Member Council.

In such circumstances, forming alliances is also one of Legas’ important methods of securing his position.

”Factions... So the Demon Tribe itself isn’t a solid piece either?”

When Wen Yu saw Koray’s memories of Legas teaming up with the chairman of the Topmost Council—a Level 11 ancient demon named Philip—to jointly suppress the Level 11 powerful expert from the Bone Demon Clan, he couldn’t help but smile and shake his head.

As the fact proves, as long as a being has intelligence, there will be self-interest, and they will do things for power that can be considered shabby.

The memories belonging to Koray continued to flow, and in no time, Wen Yu obtained the intelligence he desired.

The Supreme Commander of the Battle Zone American Continent—Philip, the chairman of the Topmost 7-Member Council of the Demon Clan Army, and his personal combat power is reputed to be the best in the Demon Realm. Furthermore, this guy is also Legas’ ”godfather.” Yes, Legas recognized Philip as his godfather...

The Supreme Commander of the Battle Zone Australia—Demon Spirit ranks just below Philip in the Topmost Council. The race is unknown, the origin is unknown, and specific power is unknown. In Koray’s memories, Demon Spirit’s figure is unclear, yet the abundant soul power rumbling around him silently speaks of his terror.

No one knows better than Wen Yu how troublesome a Level 11 soul-type powerful expert can be.

”Was it those two Soul Abiogenetic Creations that attacked New Hope Assembly Place that were made by you...”

Looking at the image of Demon Spirit in Koray’s memory, Wen Yu squinted, but a difficult sense of urgency arose from the bottom of his heart—Battle Zone Australia will be the location where the Origin Extraction Device appears, and comparing himself to a Level 11 expert skilled in the Soul Abiogenetic Creation Skill gives Wen Yu enough insight into the trouble’s magnitude.

After looking at the blurry face of Demon Spirit in his memory for a long time, Wen Yu continued to look down.

The Supreme Commander of the Battle Zone Asia—Black River Sovereign, a Level 11 powerful expert of the Soot Skin Demon Fiend tribe. His personal strength might not even compare to Legas’. However, Soot Skin Demon Fiends are the largest group among the Demon Tribe, and no one would underestimate the power Black River Sovereign wields.

However, now the Battle Zone Asia has been utterly defeated by Tang Haofei. According to Koray’s memory, Black River Sovereign is not living well currently in the Demon Realm.

The Supreme Commander of the Battle Zone Europe—Gu Yan, a Level 11 powerful expert from the Bone Demon Clan, and previously the object of Philip’s and Legas’s suppression.

His personal strength isn’t remarkable, and his force is not considered strong either, but only thus can make the relatively weak European Continent still manage to get along somehow.

The remaining two battle zones are both set up in the ocean, controlled by the leaders of the Three-headed Dragon Clan and the Sea Demon Tribe. Currently, the situation in the ocean is exceptionally adverse for the Demon Tribe. The sea beast groups led by the Sea King Tribe result in the Demon Tribe gaining no advantage.

Originally, the Battle Zone Africa led by Legas was already the best-performing sector among all the Demon Tribe’s battle zones. However, after Wen Yu’s intervention, the entire Battle Zone Africa fell into complete collapse. At this point, Wen Yu couldn’t help but criticize Legas’s miserable state.

So far, Legas has lost three battle zones, two of which are directly related to himself.

”Looks like that guy must hate me to death...”

Wen Yu imagined Legas’s ugly expression, and after a while, a hearty burst of laughter echoed from the inside of the Soul Experiment Lab.

The conflict between the Demon Tribe and the Human Race is irreconcilable. Naturally, Wen Yu wouldn’t care about the love-hate relationship a Demon Fiend might have toward him—what does the grudge of a Level 11 demon fiend matter when the Level Lock hasn’t opened?

If you’re unhappy, come hit me! Not that he can come now, but when he can come, who will be hitting who is really a two-way street!

...

Continued rifling through Koray’s memories, some rough compositions of the Demon Tribe Army and some heavy-duty strategic weapons and intelligence were all taken in—many things Wen Yu had previously learned from other demon fiends’ memories, and what Koray knew exceeds those miscellaneous ones by far, which proved to be a disguised expansion of Wen Yu’s knowledge reserve.

Until another moment passed, beneath the earth, the carbon copy of Mountain Kui slowly emerged from underground and reported to Wen Yu: ”Master, the first batch of Demon Race corpses has been transported by Lord Cyclops; do you want to take a look?”

Upon hearing this, Wen Yu promptly cut off Koray’s memories and stood up from the chair: ”Let’s go, take a look first.”

He walked outward along the tunnel opened by Mountain Kui until the sunlight outside shone on Wen Yu’s face. Looking at the pile of Demon Race corpses stacked like a mountain in the near distance, the corners of Wen Yu’s mouth slowly curved into a smile.

For the war actions in Battle Zone Africa, the fundamental purpose remains to strengthen one’s own power—cultivating Soul Puppets and forming armies are merely means to an end, and means always serve the purpose.

Using power to enhance one’s own strength, just seeing the ”food” now placed in front of him due to his command made Wen Yu sigh the convenience of having subordinates.

Not far ahead, Cyclops has already opened his mouth, devouring Demon Tribe corpses in large amounts to strengthen himself, while the figure of the Corpse puppet was faintly visible amid the corpse mountain.

The Almighty Demon Vine slowly extended out, directly stabbing into the pile of corpses, sensing the feedback of physical fitness from the Almighty Demon Vine, and naturally, a hint of anticipation arose in Wen Yu.

The corpses before him are only a small portion of this action’s harvest, and more are on the way back. Using the corpses of fiends from the entire Battle Zone Africa as nourishment, Wen Yu isn’t sure what kind of increase his power will see after this absorption and fortification.

Guessing, it should be considerable...
