Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

Suddenly, two large earth-yellow hands emerged from beneath the Demon Fiend’s feet, gripping its ankles tightly, and then gave a powerful tug!

The figure of the Demon Fiend instantly vanished, leaving only a bottomless pit in its place.

The wailing of the Demon Fiend before its demise, accompanied by the rustling sound of crawling, emanated from the hole. Zero watched the ground begin to undulate, as if waves were completely encircling the battlefield. Then, one after another, Demon Fiends at the edge of the battlefield were pulled underground by the large, sturdy hands. Zero swallowed hard, then turned around and said in a gentle tone.

”Um, let’s discuss something, let’s not fight for now. I want to see Wen Yu.”

At some point, an Earth Elemental Giant, shining like a diamond, had silently appeared behind Zero.

Upon hearing Zero’s declaration of peace, the Mountain Kui lightly scratched his head, his earth-colored eyes swiveling twice before nodding in agreement, saying, ”You don’t move, I don’t move...”

A peace agreement seemed to be reached, but Zero had already lost the right to flee—in these circumstances, even if negotiating with Wen Yu, he was at a disadvantage...

This did not align with the original plan.

With this thought, Zero nodded bitterly, when suddenly a fist the size of a pot landed heavily on Zero’s face.

In an instant, blood mixed with the Ancient Demon’s teeth sprayed out. With one strike, Zero’s over three-meter-tall body was sent flying like a sandbag.

The order Wen Yu gave to the Mountain Kui was to slaughter all Demon Fiends in the whole area. In Shangu’s realm, there were no options for peaceful coexistence...

...

The swiftly moving figure whipped up a true gale, causing wind pressure to spread in all directions.

Siegle wielded a battle axe, carving a path to the outside world. To Siegle now, whether the ones ahead were blood slaves or kin, they were all felled with one swing.

Recalling the earth-shattering darkness energy wave just moments ago, Siegle’s eyes turned red, as if they were bleeding. Within a short time, Siegle multitasked, fleeing for his life while also piecing together the whole story in his mind.

He had been ambushed...

Akad’s actions were just a play scripted and directed by Sequence Number 2!

In the original tactics plan, the presence of Sequence Number 2 was indeed a major threat faced by the Battle Zone Africa—based on the Demon Tribe psychologists’ assessment of Sequence Number 2’s personality and the self-limit-breaking methods of Sequence Number 2, it was unlikely that Sequence Number 2 would abandon the juicy Battle Zone Africa, and no news of Sequence Number 2 participating in battles in other zones had emerged, further supporting this theory.

However, the pre-operation of the Origin Extraction Device and Sequence Number 2’s long absence led Koray and Siegle to selectively ignore the potential risk posed by Sequence Number 2.

Now, it was time to taste the bitter fruit!

The sudden tremor of the ground did not throw Siegle off balance, his perception abilities unfurled entirely, and within a short time, Siegle had detected the movements happening outside the encirclement—massive losses of life energy of the Demon Tribe, endless wailing, and sounds of the ground caving in.

Sequence Number 2 had reinforcements...

He wanted to eradicate all the Demon Tribe in this region...

Simple deductions flashed through Siegle’s mind, then, in his perception abilities, a pitch-black beam rushed toward him with overwhelming momentum, followed by a foot of size 43 suddenly appearing from the darkness and planting squarely on Siegle’s face.

The terrifying physical damage from a physically superior entity, combined with the foot’s dark energy, caused Siegle to lose balance and collapse instantly, and then the foot lightly stomped.

”Boom!”

Shockwaves were generated out of thin air from Siegle’s head, then the force on the foot instantly shattered Siegle’s head. The force continued to ripple down to the earth beneath, accompanied by an agonizing wail from the land, creating a massive pit from nowhere, swallowing countless lives around.

In a haze, it seemed like Siegle heard the mockery of the man standing on him.

”Hello, we meet again...”

...

An unknown power transmitted from not far away, instantly flooding into Siegle’s body. Sensing the direction of the power transmission, Wen Yu squinted at the mountain puppet battalion and sent out a spiritual fluctuation.

”East by northeast, about 20 kilometers away, there’s a large group of Furious Demons, kill them.”

In just one brief encounter, with his superior perception of energy, he had already pinpointed the exact positions of the remaining members of the Elite Berserk Demon Corps.

Observing the subtle adjustments in the main attack direction of the mountain puppet battalion, Wen Yu leisurely took out Palpitation and Mad Medley, stepping on Siegle, gazing into Siegle’s blood-red eyes, and flashed a charming smile.

”I said hello, you should respond with hello, it’s a courtesy...”

”Roar!”

A wild battle cry erupted from Siegle’s mouth, feeling humiliated, his battle-hardened techniques began to operate automatically. With a twist of his wrist, the enormous battle axe in his hand rose into the air, roaring as it was aimed at Wen Yu’s head.

But what met the battle axe were merely two slender fingers.

…

Gently pinching Siegle’s battle axe, Wen Yu quickly examined the material and attribute of the axe. Upon discovering that Siegle’s battle axe was a high-quality soul-armored weapon, Wen Yu couldn’t help but let out a burst of hearty laughter.

”Not bad, who would have thought Lord Siegle would manage to offer such a trophy before dying, true to his status as the second figure of the Battle Zone Africa.”

Creation energy slightly rippled from his right hand, and in the blink of an eye, the soul-armed weapon’s soul connection with Siegle vanished completely.

The spiritual connection between the soul-armed weapon and its host was forcibly severed, a pain as if directly enduring a Soul Strike, causing Siegle’s face to turn pale as he sensed the battle axe, once like an extension of his limb, losing resonance. The murder intent in Siegle’s eyes surged, but Wen Yu could clearly perceive the trace of fear hidden beneath the murderous look.

He was afraid…

He was finally afraid…

And indeed, he seemed to have no reason not to be afraid…

With a leisurely manner, Wen Yu retrieved the battle axe into the space ring, and his right foot moved slightly again, instantly crushing Siegle’s head.

Under Wen Yu’s watch, Siegle’s head grew back, but Siegle had already lost his previous confidence.

The Elite Berserk Demon Corps’ heavy losses had already made Siegle’s strength decline far too much.

”It seems you’ve realized it too, haven’t you? Your teammates are continuously being harvested by my subordinates… Actually, I’m curious about one thing: Could you explain to me how your Elite Berserk Demon Corps obtained such a bug-like army attribute?”

Wen Yu was genuinely envious of the Elite Berserk Demon Corps’ existence—it’s completely like a weakened version of the Heart of the Swarm. If such a corps characteristic could be transplanted to the puppet battalion or even soul pets, it would certainly be spectacular…

Siegle’s response was only a mouthful of thick phlegm.

”Pah!”

Siegle spat towards Wen Yu’s face, only to see the darkness energy easily cancel out the ’attack,’ which instead calmed Siegle.

The true warrior is not about how strong their power is, but their ability to face death directly…

”Kill me then, Sequence Number 2, but you have to believe me, someone will avenge me, surely!”

Like a curse before death, yet it triggered a roaring laughter from Wen Yu!

Black short hair fluttered wildly in the gale, the layout of two months was on the verge of bearing the fruit of victory, yet the first valuable target to die by his hands made such naive remarks.

How could Wen Yu not be deeply excited!

After a while, the laughter gradually faded, looking at Siegle’s calm eyes beneath him, Wen Yu’s mind transmitted waves of spiritual fluctuation further away.

Subsequently, Wen Yu earnestly replied to Siegle’s curse…

”No, no one will avenge you.”

”In recognition of your position in the Battle Zone Africa, I will inform you of this declaration!”

”From this day forth, I, Wen Yu, Human Race Sequence Number 2, formally declare war on your so-called Battle Zone Africa!”

”You mere chickens and dogs dare openly form a so-called African war zone before my eyes, dare to regard me as nothing, dare to use my lands to breed your tribes!”

”Before me, you non-humans dare to build nests, form armies, and walk upon the earth; I will not bring fear to you, you are only fit to be harvested like straw!”

”My army will tread upon everything you hold pride in, will destroy your so-called prosperity.”

”From today, the African continent shall be the land protected by me, Wen Yu. Thus, I here swear that you will inevitably face an unprecedented war and catastrophe!”

”It’s a pity, you won’t be able to witness it…”

Wen Yu’s tone grew increasingly calm until finally, with a light finger snap, the Mad Medley responded and shot Siegle’s head to pieces.

This time, he lost his right to resurrection forever.
