Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

In the soul perspective, countless lines seemingly resembling strange patterns float in Wen Yu’s right hand. Wen Yu is naturally familiar with these line-like things...

These are the traces left by the existence of skills, or in other words, these lines are the essence of skills!

In Wen Yu’s understanding, skills are equivalent to a program—much like computer programs, composed of countless fundamental ”points” forming ”lines,” these ”lines” then weave into ”clusters,” and depending on the differences in ”points” and ”lines,” the woven ”clusters” produce different effects.

It’s like the world of computers, composed of countless ”0”s and ”1”s, these ”0”s and ”1”s construct a complex and intricate virtual world, and skills are much like this.

The essence is simple; however, the external manifestation seems otherwise...

Looking at the millions of lines in his palm, Wen Yu couldn’t help but feel his scalp tingle!

Koray is a Level 6 lifeform; there are 6 skills within it. Once these six skills are decomposed, they become the innumerable lines currently in Wen Yu’s hand.

Koray’s skill levels are unclear to Wen Yu, but they should include at least 3 Esoteric Level skills, and the level of the other three skills certainly won’t be low either. The higher the skill level, the more lines will be decomposed. Extracting the skills seems simple.

Select all the lines belonging to the same skill and then use Creation Energy to merge them together...

However, with several million lines, if just one is misplaced, the consequence would be a chain reaction that causes the entire skill fusion process to collapse!

From a probability standpoint, if one is to rely on luck, this thing is a completely unsolvable puzzle, but there is a shortcut.

Lines decomposed from the same skill will always have areas where their energies are similar. This kind of energy is exceptionally weak, yet if Wen Yu concentrates entirely, he will always find some clues—that’s where Wen Yu’s ten percent theory comes from...

However, how can the quantity of lines from lower-level skills be compared with those from higher-level skills!

As he observed the lines in his palm writhing as if they were living creatures, Wen Yu’s eyes twitched, completely clueless as to where to start—one mistake in a line leads to the loss of two skills, perhaps as Wen Yu’s power strengthens, his perception ability toward the energy of these lines might enhance, naturally increasing the success rate—Wen Yu now indeed entertains such a thought.

Better to leave them be and attempt this task after his level improves.

Victor, closely following the developments, might have seen Wen Yu’s hesitation. After a while, unable to restrain his craving for Limit Breaking Abilities, he asked, ”What’s the matter, boss?”

Wen Yu sighed and explained the situation to Victor faithfully.

”In other words, I currently have no ability to extract the skills...”

When faced with thousands or tens of thousands of lines, Wen Yu might extract a few skills relying on his powerful perception ability and some luck, but dealing with millions or even billions, how should Wen Yu proceed?

Upon hearing Wen Yu’s summary, Victor looked disheartened and collapsed to the ground, seeing this, Wen Yu also sighed lightly.

First hope, then disappointment; such things are ultimately unpleasant to bear...

”Then why try? Just start over again...”

The Faceless unexpectedly spoke up, attracting the attention of Wen Yu and Victor.

Seeing this, Faceless scratched his head awkwardly, smiling foolishly, and said, ”I just feel that boss’s method of extracting is a bit clumsy...”

Wen Yu raised his eyebrows: ”Then what do you think should be done?”

”Look, boss.”

A light step on the ground instantly ruptured the land. Pieces of rubble split from Mountain Kui’s body. Faceless ignored Mountain Kui’s complaints and picked up six differently shaped stones from the ground.

”These are the six skills in your hand, and then I mix them together.”

After speaking, Faceless folded his hands together, rubbing them continuously. When Faceless separated his hands again, the original six stones were perfectly merged into one, forming a smooth, round stone block.

”Now, if you want to separate the six stones inside, boss, how do you think it should be done?”

Wen Yu raised his eyebrows in understanding of Faceless’s idea: ”You mean, break it down first?”

”Yeah, how can you do it without breaking it first?”

After Faceless finished speaking, he forcefully used his right hand, instantly crushing the stone into powder.

”You see, boss, the basic ingredients of a stone are sand grains. As long as you master the technique of molding stones, you can shape them into any form you want. I think this is much simpler than separating out the six stones directly.”

Hearing Faceless’s words, Wen Yu thoughtfully paused, then lightly chuckled and shook his head.

”Seems like I was too fixated on the method of extraction and neglected the treasure trove of Creation Energy...”

Inspired by Faceless, Wen Yu suddenly realized that extracting skills was clumsy. In reality, acquiring skills doesn’t just involve removal; possessing the Soul Abiogenetic Creation Skill, Wen Yu can indeed create directly!

Once Wen Yu understands the basic units constituting skills and applies Creation Energy transform them, then establishes a model bit by bit, one day, Wen Yu will be able to spontaneously create Esoteric Level skills and even Limit Breakthrough Level skills!

Thinking of this, Wen Yu glanced at the complex lines on his right hand and then looked at Victor, whose expression was gradually calming down. After contemplating for a moment, he still made a promise to Victor: ”Don’t rush for Limit Breaking Abilities. When you reach Level 7, the boss will surely get you something good.”

Victor nodded understandingly, and then Wen Yu issued another command.

”Victor, Faceless, go to the battlefield first to help me gather Demon Race Corpses, Mountain Kui!”

”Here, Master.”

”Notify the puppet battalion, intercept and collect some skill remnants for my research purposes.”

”Yes, Master.”

After arranging specific tasks for soul pet and puppet, watching Faceless and Victor leave the Soul Experiment Lab, Wen Yu then chuckled softly.

Victor usually teamed up with Faceless and Luo Luo, and Faceless and Luo Luo, being special existences, possess formidable power themselves; coupled with Cyclops and Star possessing Limit Breaking Abilities, this causes Victor to feel immense urgency.

With the supply of elixir pills from the Heavenly Palace Treasure Land, Victor’s physical condition hasn’t deteriorated; however, there’s a fundamental difference between possessing and lacking Limit Breakthrough Level abilities—that signifies gaps in potential!

Feeling urgency is good, and Wen Yu’s promise is not without basis.

During this period, first researching skills. If at Level 7 nothing conspicuous emerges, then go rob, trade, because to the present Wen Yu, a Limit Breakthrough Level ability is merely troublesome, not difficult!

Casually retrieving the skill lines from Koray into his right hand, isolating them with Creation Energy, Wen Yu slowly sat back in the chair and took out Koray’s memory just extracted.

Battle Zone Africa’s Level 6 Chief Commanding Officer...

Supposedly, he knows quite a bit of the Demon Tribe’s secrets.
