Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

Standing on Siegle’s shattered corpse, amidst the clamorous winds and ubiquitous slaughter, Wen Yu’s heart at this moment was unprecedentedly calm.

Taking over the African continent was a thought Wen Yu arrived at after experimenting with the Soul Abiogenetic Creation Skill—the instant the thought arose, he couldn’t escape from it.

The Soul Puppet Legion, as a relatively complete race, indeed needed a territory to thrive, and Africa’s ecological environment had already collapsed. Besides, Cyclops still had a large group of mutant beasts wandering around. To be honest, even if Wen Yu wasn’t a heroic figure worrying about the country and its people, he felt that leaving a continent’s land to the Demon Tribe was indeed a pity.

In the span of over two months, the layout was basically completed, and the long-accumulated Soul Puppets were sufficient to launch a full-scale war. In such circumstances, Wen Yu had manpower whenever he needed, intelligence whenever he required; what was there not to dare fighting for?

Think about it, then do it—Wen Yu had always been so impulsive. Hence, this scene unfolded.

Intelligence from various directions continuously poured into his mind, sensing that his legion seemed like a vast net, tightly encircling the entirety of Africa. Wen Yu temporarily set his mind at ease and looked towards the place where the battle was fiercest.

”I want to see Wen Yu!”

A voice, full of anger yet repressed extremely low, came from that direction, but the Mountain Kui opposite remained unmoved, just continuously swinging heavy punches, beating Zero into a wretched state.

Zero’s physical attributes reached nearly thirty thousand; given the Mountain Kui’s strength, he couldn’t really harm Zero. However, as the saying goes, you must consider the owner when hitting the dog. In this situation, Zero dared not do anything extravagant.

Seeing this opponent that existed only in intelligence, Wen Yu squinted his eyes and walked straight towards that direction.

...

As the saying goes, when gods fight, mortals suffer. Although Zero dared not deliver fatal blows, the Power of Destruction emitted during passive defense was enough to clear out any life forms below Level 6. And Shangu was even more terrifying; unrestrained Mountain Kui’s carbon copy might not be as mighty and towering as the actual body, yet the wind pressure stirred up by the flick and turn of punches and kicks easily swept away the surrounding small fries.

King against king, general against general, soldier against soldier—superior high-level combat strength over low-level battalions increasingly stretched as levels ascended. It was conceivable that once reaching Level 10, those true experts would no longer bother with tactics like the Human Sea Tactic.

”I want to meet Wen Yu…”

Zero’s angry, low whisper echoed again to Mountain Kui’s ears. To this, Mountain Kui naturally held disdain; for Soul Puppets, Wen Yu was their creator, their god! Once Wen Yu uttered the words ’kill them all,’ there was no room for negotiation!

Fight, even if defeated, fight still!

Until a black light surged from afar, appearing instantly beside Mountain Kui, Wen Yu gently lifted his right hand and pressed on Mountain Kui’s shoulder, ceasing Mountain Kui’s attack.

”Go handle other matters, this fellow is mine.”

Upon hearing the new command, Mountain Kui halted his soon-to-be-thrown punch, nodded lightly: ”Yes, Master.”

Afterward, the near five-meter-tall figure instantly vanished into the earth.

Seeing this, Zero outwardly breathed a sigh of relief but inwardly was instantly on edge.

Encountering an existence capable of easily harvesting his life, tension was inevitable.

His heart hammered like drums, and facing Wen Yu—calm as ever—Zero’s heart was filled with complexity indescribable, eventually sighing.

”I want to make a deal with you.”

The man opposite shrugged lightly, casually setting up a Pitch-dark Barrier around them, then sat calmly down, saying indifferently: ”Of course, deals are my favorites.”

”I’ll give you thirty seconds, hoping you can present something enticing; if not, my apologies, but your magic crystals, and the Third Generation Seed of Destruction within you, have caught my eye...”

As the words fell, a ball of condensed darkness energy appeared in Wen Yu’s right hand, its vast energy sensed causing Zero to squint.

To Zero, Wen Yu’s casual strike could be a wound deep into the bone.

Thus, Zero spoke quickly.

”I’m not doing well in the Battle Zone Africa; I want to cooperate with you to bring down Koray. You support me ascension, and I’ll provide you with intelligence and convenience. Believe me, I can give you at least a collective army scale of Demon Fiends monthly, and the quality will be somewhat assured.”

Wen Yu’s Limit Breakthrough item is the Almighty Demon Vine; Demon Fiends for Wen Yu mean strength, a monthly collective army scale of Demon Tribe isn’t small, even the Battle Zone Africa’s Level 6 Chief Commanding Officer would bear considerable pressure for pointlessly extinguishing these armies.

However...

What do swallows know of the swans’ ambitions?

Zero only saw a flash of black light, the next second a piercing pain surged from beside his ear, accompanied by a ”crack,” Zero’s ear fell directly at his feet.

”Battle Zone Africa? Sorry, you might not quite understand the situation; whether such a zone still exists after today is debatable...”

”Oh, also, let me gift you some intelligence for free: the person you mentioned, called Koray, is currently battling my two strongest soul pets... Let me see, oh dear... so miserable, maybe I should spare you temporarily, later bring Koray’s head to let you see?”

Faced with Wen Yu’s gaze filled with seriousness and teasing, Zero instantly felt a chill all over.

Only then, hearing Wen Yu’s words, Zero realized what Wen Yu truly desired wasn’t merely to engulf all Demon Fiends in this area!

The death knell of the Reaper rang by his ear: ”Forget it, perhaps I’ll not spare you; your deal holds no significance for me, thus...”

Sensing an increasingly intense energy reaction upfront, Zero turned his mind faster than ever. Instinctively, Zero offered another deal!

”Your spy, you have a spy in the Battle Zone Africa right? I can bring it into the Demon Realm! And I can provide intelligence within the Demon Realm!”

Energy reactions dissipated instantly; Wen Yu slowly lowered his right hand, his gaze becoming more serious, staring intently at Zero: ”Be specific...”

”As a Third Generation Seed of Destruction, I am not the Chief Commanding Officer of this region—Lord Legas’s subordinate is the root cause of my marginalization.”

Legas, overall responsible for Battle Zone Africa, Level 11 Demon Races, such intelligence, Little White would naturally report to Wen Yu.

”Earlier from your tone, you’re inclined to wage war against Battle Zone Africa; I don’t know how many people you have or how powerful they are, but if victory is attained, Lord Legas would inevitably withdraw a small part of elite troops from Battle Zone Africa into the Demon Realm, aiming to minimize losses. You spare my life, allowing me return to the Demon Realm; afterwards, I’ll carry your mole to deliver intelligence from the Demon Realm.”

Here, Zero paused.

”Not merely intelligence from Legas’s side; it’s possible that I might return to my original master, who is responsible for the Battle Zone American Continent, meaning I might provide the Battle Zone Africa’s intelligence. But this is somewhat meaningless, for if your plan succeeds, the Battle Zone Africa’s configuration might be disbanded. However, intelligence from the Battle Zone American Continent should be valuable to you.”
