Wilderness Survival with Druid System

The structure of the River Curve Horse herd is somewhat similar to the Bactrian camel herd Chen Wen encountered before.

Their structure also features one male leading the harem.

A mature male River Curve Horse, as the leader of the herd, is responsible for guarding and protecting the group and enjoys the mating rights.

The leader of this River Curve Horse herd is that entirely black-haired River Curve Horse without any mixed hair.

The rest of the River Curve Horses are mostly the female members of the leader’s harem and its offspring.

Male offspring are driven away from the group by the male River Curve Horse once they reach adolescence.

Chen Wen watched for a while but did not find any adolescent individuals among these River Curve Horses.

Among the female River Curve Horses, there were two that Chen Wen was particularly fond of.

One had bay-colored hair, and the other was chestnut.

Overall, there wasn’t much mixed hair, and they looked muscled and fairly attractive.

After confirming his target, Chen Wen began to attract the River Curve Horse herd.

The secret weapon to attract them was still [Gua Fragrance].

Chen Wen went to the upwind direction of the River Curve Horse herd and activated the entry [Gua Fragrance].

The aroma of the fruit wafted through the air, and the distant River Curve Horse herd quickly noticed this scent.

The leader of the River Curve Horses, tracing the fragrance, saw Chen Wen and immediately became vigilant.

This bipedal creature seemed somewhat dangerous to it.

Moreover, it seemed that this scent was also his doing!

The River Curve Horse snorted loudly, resisting the temptation, turned its head, and intended to lead the group away.

However, the other River Curve Horses could not resist the temptation of the Gua Fragrance.

Of the two female River Curve Horses that Chen Wen particularly liked, the chestnut one lagged at the back of the group.

Although the male River Curve Horse constantly neighed to call its harem away, the chestnut horse still looked back every few steps, reluctant to leave.

Seeing this, Chen Wen struck while the iron was hot.

He took out the refined feed that he had brought for taming.

As soon as the stuff came out, the eyes of the chestnut River Curve Horse widened.

It completely stopped in its tracks, distancing itself from the group.

Chen Wen gently waved his hand, enticing the River Curve Horse to come closer: ”Hey, come over here! Smell this, it’s your favorite thing!”

Under Chen Wen’s soft lure, the chestnut River Curve Horse slowly moved its feet.

Along with this River Curve Horse, a bay River Curve Horse also stayed behind, but it was not the bay River Curve Horse that Chen Wen had his eyes on.

The two River Curve Horses left the main group, slowly approaching Chen Wen.

Apart from the food temptation, Chen Wen’s [Friendly] aura was also continually at work.

[Friendly] made most animals overlook Chen Wen’s threat, especially when tempted by food.

With the double inducement, these two River Curve Horses ignored their herd leader’s call.

The black River Curve Horse leader, seeing that its harem had not followed, shook its head irritably.

But it remained wary of Chen Wen and did not approach rashly.

Very soon, the two lured River Curve Horses came within less than ten meters of Chen Wen.

They looked at Chen Wen with their dark eyes, seeming to determine whether this human in front of them was trustworthy.

Chen Wen did not make any excessive movements and simply allowed the two horses to scrutinize him.

After about three to five minutes.

The bay River Curve Horse seemed to still feel that Chen Wen was somewhat dangerous.

It turned around leisurely and trotted towards the direction the group had left.

Meanwhile, the remaining chestnut River Curve Horse was still observing Chen Wen and the food in Chen Wen’s hand.

”Greedy, huh.”

Chen Wen smirked; whether it’s an animal with a specifically greedy personality or just inherently greedy, he very much liked them.

Such animals are the easiest to tame.

He extended his hand, placing the refined feed in his palm, and offered it to the River Curve Horse.

Seeing this, the chestnut River Curve Horse, a bit anxious but also cautious, stretched its neck, sniffing hard at the feed in Chen Wen’s hand.

To Chen Wen’s naked eye, a smile of satisfaction appeared on the face of the River Curve Horse.

If the River Curve Horse could speak, it would definitely say: Hmm~ first-class rarity!

”Smells good, right? Give it a try, go on, go on~ Try a bite and I guarantee you won’t forget it!”

Chen Wen said, tempting it while moving the feed a bit closer to the River Curve Horse’s head.

The River Curve Horse was startled for a moment but did not flee; it slowly opened its mouth, beginning to eat the refined feed.

The refined feed developed by humans was indeed quite a dimensional drop for the wild River Curve Horse.

After tasting the refined feed, the look in this River Curve Horse’s eyes completely changed.

It moved its mouth meticulously, as if savoring or relishing the taste.

But regardless, this River Curve Horse had already been conquered by the taste of the refined feed.

While enjoying the taste of the refined feed, Chen Wen also began his attempt at taming.

He gently extended his hand, based on his prior experience in taming horses, and began to stroke the River Curve Horse, letting it enjoy the delicacy while also enjoying the exquisite human massage technique.

Soon, the River Curve Horse was tamed.

With double comfort, this River Curve Horse didn’t even struggle, and fell deeply into it.

The system in Chen Wen’s mind alerted him.

[Taming Successful]

”That was a bit too easy!”

Chen Wen couldn’t help saying, as he patted the River Curve Horse’s body again.

The River Curve Horse obediently nudged Chen Wen’s palm, then buried its head to eat voraciously.

As Zhaxi Duntu said, with refined feed, taming wild horses turned into an easy mode.

Chen Wen withdrew his hand and glanced at the River Curve Horse’s entry.

This time, the River Curve Horse gave Chen Wen three positive entries.

He was quite lucky.

Chen Wen took a quick look at the three entries and without much hesitation chose one of them.

[Easy to Raise (Purple): Unfussy about the living environment, you can eat worse, sleep rougher, drink less, and wear simpler clothes, but the effects will be better, and your mood will be improved, just pay attention to trace elements intake]

Although Chen Wen may not need it this time, it’s simply a cost-effective divine skill for other survival scenarios!

This entry allows Chen Wen’s survival conditions to be harsher while achieving better effects.

It’s equivalent to someone eating 300 grams of food; Chen Wen can eat less and still achieve the same feeling of satiety.

Chen Wen isn’t quite sure how much less is needed, though.

But looking at the purple entry,

Conservatively estimated, it might be up to ninety percent?

After all, this entry can be effective in many places, covering food, drink, clothing, and shelter; even if the effect is a bit less, Chen Wen can accept it.

However, the only drawback of this entry is that it does not include trace elements.

If it included trace elements as well, Chen Wen feels he could almost live in the wild forever!

Of course, even if it did, Chen Wen wouldn’t live out in the wild forever.

After all, who could give up the convenience of modern life?
