Wilderness Survival with Druid System

After feeding several times, the River Curve Horse’s airplane ears disappeared.

Its body relaxed, ears naturally drooping slightly, turning occasionally.

Almost there.

Chen Wen touched the leftover forage, intending to try taming it.

He slowly stepped back, giving the River Curve Horse space to react.

The River Curve Horse also realized that the thing in front of it wasn’t a bighorn sheep, and it got a little nervous again.

However, since it received benefits from Chen Wen, and the enticing fragrance was still there.

The wild horse didn’t run away directly due to nervousness at this time.

It stared at Chen Wen, watching him slowly remove the bighorn sheep skin.

Chen Wen was also a bit nervous.

He worried that this River Curve Horse would run away upon seeing him.

After all, beasts seldom actively approach humans, especially land beasts.

But as Chen Wen removed the bighorn sheep skin.

The River Curve Horse in front of him showed a completely opposite reaction to what Chen Wen expected!

Not only did it not run away nervously, but upon seeing Chen Wen, it even relaxed.

The eyes, which were wide open, returned to normal, and its body loosened up as well.

It even gave Chen Wen a somewhat reproachful look.

As if saying, ”Bro, don’t we know each other?”

Why did you make such a scene?

Scared the horse, man!

The River Curve Horse wasn’t nervous, but seeing its manner, Chen Wen got a little tense.

No?

What’s going on?

How is this River Curve Horse not afraid of humans?

Chen Wen shivered slightly, feeling a bit scared.

This River Curve Horse isn’t the kind that’s sick, right? Mad Horse Disease?

Is there such a disease?

Chen Wen’s mind was racing with thoughts, and at this time, after confirming Chen Wen was harmless, the River Curve Horse daringly approached Chen Wen, even actively nudging its head towards Chen Wen, attempting to eat the forage in Chen Wen’s arms.

”No way, am I not awake?”

Chen Wen couldn’t help but say.

But after confirming he wasn’t dreaming, he continued to feed the River Curve Horse, even boldly stretching out his hand to smooth the horse’s mane.

Facing Chen Wen’s touch, the River Curve Horse showed no resistance at all.

This left Chen Wen even more bewildered.

What on earth is going on?

Could it be a horse raised by nomads?

Before starting his adventure, Chen Wen visited a nomad’s ranch, where he had close contact with their domesticated animals, such as horses, yaks, Tibetan mastiffs, etc.

At that time, the nomad’s River Curve Horses behaved similarly to this one.

According to the nomad, they now raise horses mostly to rent to tourists for riding or sell to local scenic spots.

Therefore, during the breeding of these horses, they gradually let them become accustomed to human presence.

Even allowing strangers to approach.

This River Curve Horse gave Chen Wen the impression of being similar to those raised by nomads.

While Chen Wen pondered over the origins of this group of River Curve Horses.

The sound of horse hooves clattering came again.

Chen Wen identified the direction and confirmed that another River Curve Horse was approaching.

But before Chen Wen could lift his head, a sharp whistle suddenly sounded by his ear.

Then, the River Curve Horse standing next to Chen Wen seemed to understand the whistle’s meaning.

It quickly turned around and galloped towards the direction of the whistle.

Chen Wen was stunned: What the heck!

This horse was just about to be tamed by him!

Why did it run away so cleanly?

Chen Wen looked up in the direction of the whistle.

Over there was an impressively gallant black horse, its fur dark and shiny.

A fist-sized white spot adorned its forehead.

What a cool horse!

Chen Wen’s eyes lit up.

But on the horse, Chen Wen saw a human silhouette.

He was taken aback, not having seen anyone in over half a month, and suddenly encountering someone made Chen Wen a little surprised.

The person on horseback was a young girl, not very old, probably around middle to high school age.

The girl was glaring at Chen Wen with wary eyes.

The group of River Curve Horses that came running was now approaching the girl’s vicinity.

Seeing this, Chen Wen instantly understood the situation.

These River Curve Horses indeed belonged to the nomads, but why was this girl herding alone here?

It should be noted that this area was near the core of Qiangtang’s protective zone.

Nomads usually wouldn’t come here.

With a stomach full of questions, just as Chen Wen was about to speak.

The girl suddenly spoke loudly, saying a few words.

She seemed to be speaking Tibetan, which Chen Wen didn’t understand.

But judging by her expression, her words probably weren’t friendly.

Chen Wen immediately shouted, ”I mean no harm, I didn’t know this horse was yours.”

Hearing his voice, the girl frowned.

But she didn’t say much to Chen Wen and instead shouted harshly, pulling on the reins.

The black horse underneath her received the girl’s signal, immediately turning its body and galloping away into the distance.

Chen Wen wanted to explain, but the heavy footsteps of the horse herd caught his voice in his throat.

”Forget it, there must be adults in her family nearby, I’ll just explain to them later.”

Chen Wen shook his head without chasing after her.

Instead, he calmly sat cross-legged, waiting for the girl’s family to arrive.

After this interruption by the little girl, his taming plan was thoroughly ruined.

...

On the vast alpine meadow.

Zhaxi Duntu rode a gray-white horse, following behind the herd of horses and yaks.

On the other side of the horse herd was a woman riding a chestnut-colored horse.

This was Zhaxi Duntu’s wife, Zhuoma Yangzong.

Behind them, an elderly woman wearing a black round-top cap was also riding a black horse, wielding a whip, shouting, cracking it through the air, driving the livestock.

And around the herd, there were seven or eight large Tibetan mastiffs, wearing anti-wolf collars on their necks, swaggering along the herd’s periphery.

Originally, it was a very harmonious scene.

But as a little girl riding a black horse charged into the herd, causing a commotion among the animals, the harmonious picture was disrupted.

”Gesang! What are you doing!”

Zhaxi Duntu frowned, couldn’t help but shout.

The elderly woman following behind squinted her eyes, smiling warmly at the clumsy granddaughter.

Gesang Meiduo, the little girl Chen Wen just encountered, had a trace of anger flash across her face.

”Dad! I found a poacher!”

Gesang Meiduo shouted loudly, ”Let’s take the dogs and deal with him! He’s alone!”

Hearing this, Zhaxi Duntu paused for a moment: ”Poacher? Alone? Gesang, what are you talking about?”

Gesang Meiduo quickly recounted what she had seen earlier, then said, ”That man was wearing a sheepskin, with a sheep’s head on top!”

Upon hearing this, a trace of vigilance flashed in Zhaxi Duntu’s eyes: ”Watch over Gesang, I’ll go take a look!”
