Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2535: Chapter 2536: Return to Tianyun (102)

”What good stuff?” Ye Zhi asked nonchalantly again.

Gong Juechen asked in return, ”Do you remember that sickly guy from the Tao family who called me uncle?”

”I remember.”

”Since he was calling me uncle, and I happen to have nothing to do, I’ll allow him to try some medicine on me.”

Ye Zhi squinted instantly, ”You couldn’t find someone to test your medicine, so you went to him, didn’t you?! I’m warning you, don’t mess around. His body is already in poor condition. If he can’t handle your experiments and you end up killing him, I wonder how you’ll compensate them with a son!”

”Don’t worry, although I can’t solve his poison, I won’t mess him up to death. I just want to see if the medicine I’m practicing now has any effect on his poison.”

Ye Zhi still wasn’t assured and said, ”I don’t agree.”

”Zhizhi, it really won’t kill anyone~~~~~” Gong Juechen’s voice dragged on, and he whined at Ye Zhi, making her scalp tingle and giving her goosebumps.

”Speak properly!” Ye Zhi pushed him away, not letting him hug her any longer.

”Can’t you agree? I might deceive others, but would I deceive you? I’m telling you it won’t kill anyone, really won’t kill anyone. At most, the medicine just won’t have any effect on his poison, it won’t harm his body.”

Ye Zhi still disagrees.

”Zhizhi, just let me play~~~~” Gong Juechen dragged on his voice again. ”I haven’t done this in so long, I’m itching for it.”

Ye Zhi squinted at him again, ”I’m just worried you’ll kill someone! Why don’t you find someone else or try it on yourself.”

Gong Juechen promptly said, ”I’m so healthy, whether I take medicine or not, I might end up worse. Of course, it should be given to someone who’s not well, maybe it might have some use.”

Ye Zhi frowned but saw Gong Juechen seemed eager and might sneak off to find Taoming Ye for testing when she’s not paying attention, so she said, ”It really won’t kill? And won’t harm his body?”

Gong Juechen nodded immediately, ”Really!”

”Then go ahead and play.” Ye Zhi couldn’t be bothered anymore.

”Zhizhi, you’re so wonderful.” Gong Juechen hugged Ye Zhi and kissed her cheek. ”This medicine isn’t ready yet, it’ll take several days to complete, when it’s done, let’s go together to the Tao Mansion to find that sickly guy.”

”He has a name, Taoming Ye, stop calling him sickly! After all, he respectfully calls you uncle!”

”I didn’t ask him to call me that. Besides, I’m not that old, he could call me uncle, why call me uncle?”

”I kind of understand why you’re using him for experiments; you feel he made you sound old! But at your age, you’re already considered grandpa age now, please lighten up!”

”Never mind that,” Gong Juechen laughed it off, ”anyways accompany me to the Tao Mansion that day, it’s no fun going alone.”

”Hmm.” Ye Zhi agreed. Then she added, ”At that time, I’ll ask Boss and Brother-in-law if they want to come too, if they do, the four of us can go together, might as well go out for fun.”

Gong Juechen chuckled cheekily, ”Once I finish the medicine, you can ask them, this medicine may not even be a success.”

Ye Zhi: ”...” This medicine, really no problem?

...

Six days later, on October 7th, Gong Juechen finished the medicine. He immediately urged Ye Zhi to ask An Jing and Su Changyi.

Ye Zhi glared at Gong Juechen before going to the main hall to find An Jing and asked, ”Boss, do you and Brother-in-law want to go out with me and Gong Juechen for fun today?”
