Peaceful Farm Life

Chapter 2507: Chapter 2508: Return to Tianyun (74)

Su Xing refused to sleep, and pulled him to lie down on the bed together, kissing and hugging him while eagerly taking off his clothes, to the point where he eventually got worked up.

When Su Xing woke up the next day, she found herself completely naked, and it seemed like her husband lying next to her didn’t have anything on under the covers either, which made her recall the events of last night.

Unlike others who have no memory after being drunk, she could still vaguely remember quite a few snippets.

And when those snippets came together, Su Xing couldn’t quite accept it; she had actually taken advantage of her husband.

As Taoming Ye opened his eyes, he saw Su Xing sitting there like an ostrich, with her head buried under the covers, her neck and ears red, looking as though she couldn’t face anyone, which made him realize that she had recollected the good deeds she did last night.

Struggling to sit up, he gently embraced her, coaxing softly by her ear: ”Don’t be shy, we’re married. Whether you take the initiative or I do, it’s all the same, isn’t it?”

Su Xing turned around and hugged his neck, ”I’ll never drink that much again!”

She had never gotten drunk before, so she had no clue what it would be like, but now she knew.

Taoming Ye chuckled lowly, not saying anything, and just gently kissed her now very red ears.

”Hubby, is your body alright?” Since they’d been quite active recently and given that she kind of overpowered him yesterday, she was genuinely worried about his body not being able to handle it.

”I’m fine.”

”You’re not tricking me?” She was a bit skeptical, releasing his neck, staring straight at him.

Taoming Ye, between laughter and tears, replied: ”No. Really no. Here I am, sitting up, talking to you—do I look like something’s wrong?”

Su Xing then saw that aside from his face being paler than yesterday, he seemed as normal as usual, and only then did she believe him.

Subsequently, the two got up.

After breakfast, Su Xing first accompanied Taoming Ye for a stroll in the Tao Mansion Garden. Seeing Taoming Ye getting a bit tired, they decided not to visit other places but instead returned to the courtyard where they resided.

Entering the main room.

Like the inner chamber.

Outside the inner chamber, there was a kang bed-stove; Su Xing helped Taoming Ye sit down to rest on the kang and then sat at the other side of the kang table.

The small kang table held books, needlework, and other items,

Taoming Ye didn’t read the books, just leaned there, watching Su Xing softly as she made a sachet for him.

Regarding needlework, Madam Huo also taught Huo Xiner, and in order not to reveal that she wasn’t actually Huo Xiner, Su Xing secretly practiced using Huo Xiner’s memories before marrying into the Tao Mansion. Now she was quite proficient, having embroidered various things on the sachet, appearing quite exquisite and pleasant-looking.

While working on the sachet, Su Xing chatted with Taoming Ye, who responded whenever he could, being particularly gentle.

And Su Xing just adored Taoming Ye’s gentleness, as it softened her heart.

Suddenly, Hong Ye came in and reported: ”Miss, Master, Third Young Master and Fifth Young Master are here.”

Su Xing quickly said, ”Invite them in quickly.”

Hong Ye then went to invite them in.

Soon, Tao Mingsheng and Tao Mingqing came in, first politely greeting them, calling them Big Brother and Sister-in-law, before sitting on the two chairs Hong Ye had brought.

”How come you have time to come today?” Taoming Ye asked with a smile.

Tao Mingsheng laughed: ”Since we’ve finished the coursework arranged by Dad, we came to chat with Big Brother.” Then, he joked, ”Ever since Sister-in-law came into the family, with Sister-in-law accompanying Big Brother, Big Brother doesn’t need us to visit him frequently anymore. See how he’s so dismissive of us now.”
