Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 574: Chapter 372 Announcing the Arrival of the Teraxil All Gods to the World!

Spencer, who stood against the wall, was extremely grateful for his decision to keep the door tightly shut.

He definitely did not want to be dragged out by the Undead Tribe to witness their gossip exchange.

In return for the lady’s unfailing knowledge about the Undead Tribe, she did not hesitate to spill the secrets of her own Main God.

It was one thing to fancy beautiful elf maidens, but she brazenly talked about transforming into a Tree Demon to seduce charming young boys.

The Undead Tribe was already inquiring whether the Elven God King was actually born from Coron himself.

The Female Priest answered them with great pleasure, affirming that when Coron transformed into a beautiful Tree Demon girl, he was a complete girl.

And having children was not an impossibility.

Once she returned, she planned to find some way to ask her companions in the Supreme Forest; even though they were not in the Elven Divine Realm, they knew more about that place.

Spencer carefully and cautiously took several sharp breaths, quietly retreating back into his office.

Unless the Undead Tribe reported that the reorganization of the capital was completely finished, he had no intention of stepping out the front door.

Two elves had already abandoned their solemn and earnest Knight companion to run around cheerfully with the Undead Tribe.

Through the giant screen, Spencer saw the Elf Priestess exchanging some Holy Magic with the Undead Female Priest.

They also happily exchanged quite a few plant seeds, especially the sunflowers that the elves were very fond of.

They provided many specialties from the Green Leaf Forest to the Undead Tribe.

Meanwhile, the male elf chose to associate with the swordsman of the Undead Tribe.

It was probably because of their shared agility, and he was also skilled in using a Thin Sword.

Spencer carefully lowered his presence, realizing for the first time that there was a race capable of communicating smoothly with the Undead Tribe.

In his heart, the danger level of the Green Leaf Elves had skyrocketed.

Spencer passed through the back corridor quietly, pausing to gaze at the flamboyant ’do not disturb’ sign on Hill’s door as he passed by.

The children of the An Family were not to be mentioned elsewhere, but they certainly resembled their uncle in their ability to chase benefits and avoid harm.

They were the kind that were curious about gossip too, but content to hear it pass by, utterly lacking in the spirit of adventure to risk a little for firsthand news.

Spencer knew that many guards were actually quite curious about the tales of the Father of Elves; after all, the majestic figure who had effortlessly broken the World Membrane and chastised the boastful Elven God King like a scabby dog had left a deep impression on many who had seen Coron’s arrival.

But it was William and Hill’s show of such excessive avoidance that suppressed everyone else’s curiosity.

It indeed saved Spencer a great deal of trouble.

After all, Hill was famously on good terms with the Deities, and it was no rumor that he had an Elven Bloodline; if even he avoided the matter so keenly, it was clear that it wasn’t something ordinary people should get involved in.

Spencer circled the long corridor, passing a small garden before he arrived at the King’s sleeping quarters.

He knocked on the door without hesitation; by his estimation, William’s fleeting interest in the Crystal Ball should have completely waned by now.

”Dear cousin Naven,” the two large doors in front of Spencer opened silently as William’s voice drifted out, ”You know, as a subject, you shouldn’t be so familiar with your king.

If it were a narrow-minded and suspicious tyrant, you would have been killed to maintain his mystique.”

With an unchanged expression, Spencer walked in: ”Ah! Before you depart for the Divine Kingdom, would you really let me charge ahead to bliss? Leaving all the work to be done by yourself?”

William, who was sprawly lying on the couch without any image, rolled the Primordial Crystal on his chest: ”Poor me~ Having my weakness grasped like this!”

”Stop playing!” Spencer, who sat on a smaller couch nearby, said seriously, ”Have you paid any attention to what’s happening outside?”

”I’ve shut off all my senses for a while, keeping only a strand of Divine Power focused on the main temple,” William said languidly. ”Knowing and not knowing makes a big difference in reactions. Since I have no idea what the Undead Tribe has been saying to those elves, I can act more normally.

Plus, if there are any new stories, the Undead Tribe will surely post summaries on their forum. Wouldn’t it be nice to read all at once?

Ha ha~”

”You’re not wrong; they will indeed summarize many new stories. This is the first time I’ve seen someone getting along so well with the Undead Tribe,” Spencer interrupted William’s laughter, bluntly stating, ”They might as well compile a collection of the Elven Pantheon’s stories, the kind completely unrelated to divine acts and divinity.”

William froze, abruptly sitting up as the Primordial Crystal nearly slipped from his hands, which he quickly caught.

”They? Are they not just listening to stories from the Undead Tribe but exchanging information between the two sides?” Realizing what was happening, William quickly caught on.

He let out a pained wail: ”Damn it! I don’t even want to think about whether that person is listening to what they’re saying! Why are the Green Leaf Elves like this?

Doing such equivalent exchanges for such matters!”

Before standing up, William solemnly placed the Crystal Ball into a wooden box.

Spencer recognized that box; it was crafted from a branch of the Ginkgo Treant from the Keslot Palace, a secret box that no one but William could open once closed.

Approaching the desk, William picked up the tablet: ”Is the reorganization of the capital not yet finished?”

”It will probably be until tomorrow morning,” Spencer replied.

”Have they already set off for the city in the opposite direction to the capital?” William asked quietly, ”Can they directly bypass from there to the border of the Kingdom of the Black Moon?”

”Yes,” Spencer stood up and asked, ”Do you have a way to attract the attention of the Undead Tribe?”

”We can’t let them keep playing games with the Elves!” William said with a serious expression, ”After all, a king without scandals is not a good king. So, I will create one for them.

I hope they can find traces of Goddess Shaer, the one whom King William truly admires, in the Kingdom of the Black Moon, and receive generous rewards at every location.”

Spencer ground his back teeth fiercely: ”Finding something related to that goddess is what you really want, isn’t it!”

”Is that so bad?” William retorted righteously, ”It’s better than letting them continue this discussion! At least now it’s still only revolving around the Elven Pantheon!

With the temperament of these Green Leaf Elves, do you think they won’t gossip about other deities?

If even the history of Rose comes up, we can’t bear it! That Rose maid, whose identity is unknown, will certainly not let off anyone who dares mention her deity!

If there are a few more, I even suspect that some deities would break through the Crystal Wall to come knocking on our door!

Our Teraxil is still very young; we can’t shoulder such a huge burden!”

Spencer could not help but let out a laugh: ”Then I hope that one day, we too can do as we please like the Elves, without having to worry about anything.”

William’s hand paused slightly as he smiled faintly at his cousin: ”Of course, that’s also my wish.”

The Undead Tribe was indeed attracted by William’s prayer for this task, as they worked almost frantically, completing the cleansing that was supposed to be finished the next morning by the time the moon was high in the sky.

The Ice Wall surrounding the capital was cleared, and torrents of water, sweeping up miscellaneous debris, roared away through channels the Undead Tribe had created.

It was a city with no people, once occupied by devils, and nothing could remain after a soak in Elemental Water.

Even the buildings collapsed directly.

Places long inhabited by devils, once purified, seem to undergo thousands of years of erosion in an instant.

The Undead Tribe turned everything into earth without any care.

They sowed a great number of sunflower seeds on that land.

The territory of a Demon Lord is not so easily purified.

The hellish scent in the air was so strong that William, hovering in midair, wrinkled his nose.

Luckily, Spencer managed to knock Hill out of his room before sunrise.

Hill stood beside William, almost holding his breath, continually releasing Nature’s Blessing, as the devil’s place was always so foul-smelling.

It was the stench of corrupted souls, undetectable by humans and the Undead Tribe.

But the Elves were very sensitive to it, they did not want to get close, only watching from a distance as the green carpet rapidly spread on the ground.

The sunflowers, blooming rapidly and blossoming in the morning sun, displaying countless golden blooms, made the Elves unable to resist kneeling down to observe closely.

For the Green Leaf Forest, which suffered from the evils of both devils and demons, such flowers that could purify malevolence held great significance.

The Green Leaf Elves also had plants or means for purification, but those were very costly.

After all, they were only a small tribe and not yet wealthy enough to afford such expenses, or else they would not have wandered far from home.

The wealth of Elves sometimes truly stemmed from their longevity and the multitude of items they had collected over time.

It doesn’t mean they have everything.

The female priest couldn’t help but touch the vine ring on her hand. The Undead Tribe had traded a lot with her, and she had better head back soon.

But, just as Miliel had secretly told them before she left, that Demon Great Lord who was always watching this way might make a move against them. Only by following this Otherworld King could they safely return to the vicinity of the forest.

Elves who left the Greenleaf Forest could not contend with such powerful demons on their own.

Though this King William seemed only a bit stronger than the average demigod, he possessed many Divine Artifacts. Demons were not fools; if they couldn’t beat him, they would naturally head straight for the War God Kingdom.

That’s where all the demons aimed.

To kill and offer a Demon Duke who dared to claim to be the War God would be enough for the Bottomless Abyss to happily grant them Deep Abyss Rewards.

William did not plan to let ordinary people resettle in this place; he looked around, waved his hand and threw out a large amount of materials that floated in midair, then quickly raised an immense square surrounded by many Temples.

Gleaming Teleportation Arrays and Resurrection Arrays were built right at the center of the square.

Hill watched in amazement as William almost replicated all of the Temples outside the Abyssal Gate of Teraxil.

This was a formal declaration of the existence of the Teraxil Pantheon!
