Surviving The Fourth Calamity

Chapter 553: Chapter 352 Sister, Turn Around~

’Snow Cloud Peak’ didn’t dare to look at the succubus any longer and quickly called his companions to turn back to the main path.

Although the direction of the Undead Tribe’s army had indeed been corrected, the knight who kept looking back infuriated ’Snow Cloud Peak’ immensely.

However, he could only roll his eyes forward and with a fierce look, signaled them to keep on the right path.

The succubus, on the other hand, didn’t mind at all; she was quite proud of the attention the knights were giving her, no matter the reason, in a place surrounded by many beautiful women, she was still the center of attention.

This made the succubus stretch her waist even more contentedly, laughing even more enchantingly.

Hill felt somewhat relieved that the succubus had approached ’Snow Cloud Peak’, who was serious when it came to important matters, or rather, he was someone who upheld his pride in front of an audience and cared about his appearance.

If the succubus had landed next to those who wanted the limelight but not the dignity, they would probably be fighting already. They would certainly dare to reach out to her while she sat next to them.

The eyes of the Undead Tribe were all watching this side, whispering among themselves.

Hill knew that in their eyes, this might just be a plot mission.

However, this was really an unexpected event!

William sat down stunned, ”What is she trying to do? Worried about the Undead Tribe causing trouble in the War God Kingdom? Why is the demon paying so much attention to that impersonator of the War God?”

Initially feeling bored and wanting to leave, Hill immediately found a good viewing spot and sat down without hesitation, ”I’m curious, why did she choose ’Snow Cloud Peak’? He isn’t even leading at the forefront.”

”’Snow Cloud Peak’ isn’t the highest level among the group, he has many miscellaneous tasks, and his strength is just barely keeping up with the first group.

But, being at the forefront, his carriage is open-top, the demon would notice him with just one glance from the sky.

Why did you make an open-top carriage?”

”As a kid, who had that many thoughts? As long as it looked good, it was fine!” Hill sighed, ”Saral’s most beautiful carriage is the open-top one filled with petals used for weddings, right?”

”Unfortunately, it’s not very practical. Noble families wouldn’t buy a wedding carriage too often, let alone Alchemy Products.” William smiled, ”But apart from you, there are few mages who would make one.”

”I’ve been rich since I was a child, I could afford to experiment.” Hill said calmly, ”And the Undead Tribe liked them a lot, I even made some to sell later.”

”Can we talk about something serious?” Spencer said solemnly, ”Aren’t you guys worried about this demon at all? You can tell she is high level!”

”She’s probably the Great Lord responsible for attacking the War God Kingdom!” William said nonchalantly, ”She is trying to make good. As long as the Undead Tribe doesn’t go near her, she won’t trouble us deliberately.

Succubi are indeed the best at judging the situation, much smarter than the usual demons.”

”Demons aren’t fools; it’s just that in their hearts, humans don’t have the power to make them back down. Who would care about the resistance of ants?” Hill sneered, ”Hurt them, and they start to think, it’s the same with succubi.”

”She seems not planning to leave?” Spencer ignored the conversation of the two, only concerned whether the demon would act against the Undead Tribe.

A demon’s Great Lord, if converted to human levels, would be amongst the most powerful even in the Demigod Level.

If the Undead Tribe fought with her, the casualties would definitely be heavy.

William reassured him: ”Don’t worry. This one already knows that the Undead Tribe really can’t die, and killing them would get neither their souls nor their flesh.

To demons, the Undead Tribe is the most useless existence; she wouldn’t want to bother with them.”

”Ah~” The succubus suddenly emitted a sorrowful moan.

’Snow Cloud Peak’ looked at her with horror.

”It’s diverted again.” The succubus leaned her voluptuous body against ’Snow Cloud Peak’, shaking with laughter.

She pointed at the tablet with her delicate fingers, ”If you keep going this way, you’ll head towards the Dark Moon! There might not be a Great Lord there, but there are several lords! They have nasty tempers, and there’s no need for that!

The Magic Kingdom is the most suitable for you; the lord there is so dumb, actually getting played by the Devil~”

’Snow Cloud Peak’, looking stiff, scolded angrily, ”Can’t you walk in a straight line? If people are blind, let the horses walk themselves!”

Hill asked William strangely, ”Is ’Snow Cloud Peak’ such an upright person?” He didn’t think so.

”He’s not young anymore, he must have a wife or a lover. The Undead Tribe still prefers stable relationships.” William answered irrelevantly, ”Flying fortune is great, but the Undead Tribe is always broadcasting.”

”Best of luck to him.” Hill said nonchalantly, ”Wondering how long this succubus Great Lord can endure.”

Half an hour.

The succubus stood directly on the front of the carriage, no longer able to pose seductively, ”How did you manage this? Can your horses not walk in a straight line? Bring the carriage to the front! I’ll lead the way for you!”

Hill felt that the demon lady must have swallowed countless curses.

’Snow Cloud Peak’ instructed the leading knights not to navigate on their own, letting the horses find their own way, which was actually a workable method. However, mounted and leading the way, Hill noticed his left foot moved involuntarily a few times, touching the horse’s belly.

His sensitive horse then headed towards the left.

And this knight had no sensation whatsoever.

”Actually, it wasn’t bad at all,” Spencer said faintly, ”he actually took the lead and walked for twenty minutes without faltering.”

”It seems we no longer need you to constantly monitor the route of the Undead Tribe, Naven,” William said with a hint of regret, ”this Great Lord really has a lot of free time!”

Hill was somewhat puzzled. Why did the demon of the Magic Kingdom seem so indifferent when he was clearly so powerful?

Even the two evil Moon Goddesses drew more of the demon’s attention.

The Radiant Knights Order mentioned that in the world battle situation, only the Magic Kingdom had not been significantly attacked by demons; it only needed a bit more defense.

Was the God of Magic possibly an incarnation of a Great Devil? If the being itself was not present, but only an incarnation, its importance indeed wasn’t that high.

Hill thought it over and could only conclude this was the reason.

An incarnation, at the very end, would absolutely not hesitate to self-destruct. Anyone who tried to kill it might end up destroyed as well, for demons are mad but not foolish.

Hill thought about the things in the Magic Kingdom. This God of Magic did not intend to rule the world forever. The magic books and the fiercely infighting church both proved he was only in it for a quick gain.

No Great Devil is a fool. Creating a Pseudo Magic Net, successful or not, could cause big trouble.

If successful, see that Goddess of Magic who has been replaced several times. Among the deities, she had the highest turnover rate. Without finding a safer way to become the center of the Magic Weave, even if successful, the Great Devil might just seal up the results of the experiment.

If he was losing power struggles in Hell, there would still be time to reopen it.

But if he failed, he might just turn into a madman.

If it’s just an expendable incarnation, there are no problems though.

Hill glanced at William. The king must also have this idea; otherwise, he would not have been the first to deal with the God of Magic.

Logically speaking, those two evil moons were easier to deal with.

On the Moon Halo, there was clearly still resistance. The two Moon Goddesses hardly had the leisure to care about earthly affairs, so the nations of Black Moon and Red Moon were the weakest.

The twenty kilometers distance was quickly covered by the Undead Tribe that did not get lost.

The Succubus completely gave up on emitting her charm and flew straight into the sky, ”You’ve arrived, I hope we don’t meet again.”

”Sister, sister, walk slowly, show us your horns; Sister, sister, fly slowly, let us see your tail; Sister, sister, turn your head back, let us see your hooves!” Watching the leaving Succubus, the Undead Tribe suddenly burst into a song.

The song was loud and resounding.

This was a chorus of tens of millions of people, especially that soaring soprano that even the trembling soldiers clinging to the city walls looked over.

Hill looked sympathetically at the Succubus stiff in the sky; she probably didn’t expect the Undead Tribe to burn their bridges this quickly.

William burst out into a raucous laughter.

Laughter also erupted on the right side of the Undead Tribe, and a huge figure slowly emerged, ”I’m retreating for now, gonna find some fun elsewhere.

Considering how much you’ve entertained me, I’ll let you have the Magic Kingdom!”

The Soul Judging Demon, swinging its body like an ape, hummed the tune he just learned from the Undead Tribe and hopped away.

As he walked, the earth shook and the mountains moved, but the Succubus in the sky let out a roar and her long whip descended swiftly and fiercely.

Since the Undead Tribe dared to provoke her with such a song, they were naturally prepared; the moment the ape spoke, they had already activated their shields.

In the long line, the glow of the Magic Shields and the radiance of the Giant Shields intertwined; they had slowly formed a battle array during this period.

The full attack of the Succubus was blocked by their collective power.

The Succubus stood in the air, her face fluctuating with emotions. She glanced in the direction where the Soul Judging Demon had left, but ultimately, she accelerated and flew away.

Hill exhaled deeply, demons indeed never bring good news.

The Magic Kingdom was not disregarded; it was highly regarded.

The Demigod Level Soul Judging Demon had always been stationed here but had no plans to attack.

It seemed to be waiting to intercept when the God of Magic took action to help other countries.

The Succubus had to bring the Undead Tribe to the Magic Kingdom because even if they failed here, the Bottomless Abyss did not care, and an incarnation or such did not have the true value of a Great Devil.

And the only Demigod Level demon that could compete with her for the spoils, if it truly lost to humans, would not be able to compete with her after returning to the Abyss.

Even if it won, it would come at a great cost, and naturally, the Succubus would obtain the most spoils.

Unfortunately, her cunning plan only exchanged for a joyous tune; seeing the performance of that Soul Judging Demon, this tune would definitely become popular in the Abyss, turning into a hit song.
