Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1503: Chapter 677: Visiting the Set

Yao Yuanfeng initially just listened casually, but as he listened further, he was quite surprised.

”Turns out you’re not planning to shoot a pastoral!”

”Haha, I’ve never lived in the countryside, how would I have the mindset to film something pastoral,” Wen Bing joked.

Zhou Yun said, ”President Yao, turns out you didn’t know what Wen Bing’s movie was going to be about.”

Yao Yuanfeng said, ”I knew before, but I misunderstood.”

Zhou Yun laughed and said, ”Thanks to your support, Wen Bing can shoot the movie he wants to.”

Yao Yuanfeng sighed and said, ”Why wouldn’t I support him? He’s someone I spotted right away and brought out.”

Upon hearing this, Wen Bing smiled with his head bowed.

Zhou Yun said, ”I heard that many people in the company disagree with Wen Bing making this movie. Seems like what I heard were all rumors.”

”It’s quite normal to have some dissenting voices in the company; different departments naturally have different perspectives,” Yao Yuanfeng said. ”But since I promised Wen Bing to support him in making the film he wants, I’ll fulfill my promise.”

Wen Bing smiled again.

”After you finish filming the second part of ’Two Tigers’ next year, if you have any scripts you want to shoot, let me know, I’ll definitely support you,” Yao Yuanfeng suddenly said to Wen Bing.

Wen Bing was taken aback.

Zhou Yun was a bit surprised and said, ”President Yao is so generous, saying support is support indeed.”

Wen Bing shrugged and said, ”Let’s wait and see, who knows when ’Two Tigers’ part two will be filmed next year. It might take up a whole year, and besides, there’s still the post-production for ’Female Assassin’ to do.”

’Female Assassin’ is currently in initial editing and undergoing post-production effects.

This is why Wen Bing was able to free up a month to film the current movie.

Yao Yuanfeng said, ”My promise stands, Wen Bing, as long as you understand my intentions, don’t worry about what those people in the company say. Rest assured, I’m absolutely supporting you.”

For a moment, Wen Bing didn’t know how to respond.

Zhou Yun said, ”As long as President Yao supports, others not supporting doesn’t matter, I’ll remember it for Wen Bing.”

Yao Yuanfeng laughed.

”You two really have a close relationship, I’m getting jealous.”

”Why is President Yao jealous? Aren’t we all working for you?” Zhou Yun said.

Yao Yuanfeng said, ”Sigh, clearly I’m the one working for you all.”

Zhou Yun: ”...Haha.”

Yao Yuanfeng’s visit didn’t provide any substantial help to the crew.

Mainly because there’s nothing substantial that the crew needs his help with.

Everyone has already prepared everything and is just waiting to start filming.

Zhou Yun has even learned to cook a few dishes and started cooking with Xiuxiu’s mom.

For lunch, Zhou Yun personally cooked a few dishes for everyone and they ate together.

When Zhou Yun brought the dishes out, she saw Yang Xi wiping the chair with a look of disdain, as if the chair was perpetually dirty, cautiously sitting down while glancing nervously around.

She felt annoyed by Yang Xi’s behavior.

And when she finished the dishes, Yang Xi still pretentiously said, ”Wow, Xiao Yun, you’re amazing, the food looks colorful and aromatic!”

Zhou Yun thought: You haven’t even tasted it yet, how do you know the flavor is all there? Could you think a bit when complimenting?

Of course, Zhou Yun just purely couldn’t stand Yang Xi, so whatever she said was wrong.

Yao Yuanfeng, however, was enjoying the food and took a photo, posted it on Weibo, saying: Zhou Yun’s cooking skills [thumb up].

At the table, he asked Yu Zhiyang, ”Little Yu, have you signed with a talent agency?”

Yu Zhiyang nodded, ”Yes, I have.”

Zhou Yun laughed and said, ”What, President Yao, are you trying to poach him from me?”

Yao Yuanfeng was taken aback and asked, ”Did he sign under you?”

”I’m co-managing him with Song Chi. If President Yao has good opportunities, keep them for him,” Zhou Yun said.

She just casually mentioned it and didn’t take it to heart.

She knows Yao Yuanfeng well; casting decisions are hard based purely on personal connections—either they’re truly suitable or it’s a matter of mutual benefit.

Zhou Yun didn’t intend for Yao Yuanfeng to actually support Yu Zhiyang.

Yao Yuanfeng laughed and said, ”Of course, if it’s your person, I’ll definitely help; how old are you?”

Yu Zhiyang replied, ”Nineteen.”

”Perfect age,” Yao Yuanfeng said to Zhou Yun, ”When you acted with Zhou Jianfeng in ’Under the Grand Dress’, was he the original candidate?”

Zhou Yun nodded.
