Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1466: Chapter 752: First Impressions (3)

Zhou Yun smiled and said, ”Sure, so let’s go talk, why do you think I didn’t say anything?”

Gilan Stuer’s face immediately changed.

Zhou Yun wasn’t afraid of people like Gilan Stuer. She wasn’t mixed up in the fashion circle, and she conducted herself with integrity, so what was there to fear.

At just that moment, a silver-haired woman walked over.

She looked to be about fifty years old, but she was very refined—on this night, almost everyone who appeared was very refined, the kind of person you knew had been shuffling through the fame circle for years.

She glanced at Zhou Yun, then whispered something in Gilan Stuer’s ear.

Gilan Stuer’s face became even more unsightly.

She looked at the other person skeptically and said, ”What did you say? Did you make a mistake?”

The silver-haired woman glanced at Zhou Yun again, seeming to be mindful of her presence.

The more this happened, the less inclined Zhou Yun was to leave.

She stood her ground, hands folded across her chest, and looked at them with an indifferent expression.

Gilan Stuer glared at her angrily and maliciously before leaving with the silver-haired woman.

Wen Xi said in surprise, ”What happened to them? They just left like that?”

”Who was that silver-haired woman just now?” Zhou Yun asked.

”Her agent, I’ve seen her a few times, she’s a very formidable woman,” Wen Xi said. ”Gilan Stuer’s rise to fame was all her planning.”

”I see.” Zhou Yun pondered.

She had a hunch that Gilan Stuer’s sudden departure was related to her—otherwise, the silver-haired woman wouldn’t have looked at her like that.

Zhou Yun thought for a moment and said to Wen Xi, ”I’m thinking of leaving now too.”

”Hmm, you’re leaving?” Wen Xi was a bit surprised, ”I just got here.”

”Shall I accompany you?” Zhou Yun said, ”I’m okay with anything, mainly because I don’t know anyone here too well, and I’ve greeted the ones I need to.”

”Let me introduce you to my friends then. Actually, many people here are quite nice. People like Gilan Stuer are a minority,” Wen Xi said.

Zhou Yun nodded, ”Sure.”

Wen Xi had been working in the fashion circle for years and was a famous model, so she had many friends.

Zhou Yun quickly became acquainted with a group of renowned supermodels.

Including those she’d seen earlier on the runway.

They all appeared noble and cool, but once you interacted with them, they were charming girls.

Especially, Zhou Yun was surprised by how welcoming everyone was toward her.

But earlier, before Wen Xi introduced her, everyone seemed pretty indifferent towards her—Zhou Yun thought she wasn’t particularly popular.

”Oh, by the way, did you know Gilan Stuer was chased away by Joanna? Do you know why?” a Black female model suddenly asked curiously.

”I don’t know what she could have done to Joanna, it’s strange, but it’s not surprising. Gilan Stuer was never on Joanna’s side, she is closer to Roland, and it was Roland who invited her. Joanna and Roland have always been at odds, maybe Joanna found an excuse to kick Gilan Stuer out.”

”Joanna is known for her bad temper, not sure what Gilan Stuer did to upset her.”

...

The group discussed back and forth.

Only then did Zhou Yun realize that Gilan Stuer was chased away by Joanna.

Wen Xi’s look toward Zhou Yun changed, she gave Zhou Yun a hint, signaling her not to talk about it anymore.

Zhou Yun nodded slightly.

Everyone continued gossiping about Gilan Stuer.

”Wasn’t she getting close to William Stantu lately? Are they really dating?”

”Who knows, with Gilan Stuer, I’d never be surprised about who she dates, she changes boyfriends faster than outfits.”

”William Stantu is a notorious playboy, he and Gilan Stuer couldn’t possibly be serious,” someone suddenly said.

”Who knows, even if William Stantu is just fooling around with Gilan Stuer, she’d still gain a lot of advantages.”

Zhou Yun couldn’t help but wonder if the William Stantu they were discussing was the man she had just seen.

Actually, the topics everyone was discussing made Zhou Yun feel familiar.

It turns out that regardless of the circle, gossip is a passport into the small world.

”Hey, Zhou Yun.” Suddenly, a man’s voice sounded behind her.

Zhou Yun noticed the expressions on the faces of the women gathered around immediately changed, it was as if they all donned their subtle or graceful facades.

Zhou Yun turned her head in surprise to look at the man suddenly appearing behind her.

”May I ask who you are?” Zhou Yun recognized him, the handsome man was the one who had looked ambiguous while conversing with Gilan Stuer just now.

”William Stantu.” The man flashed a charming smile, his eyes focused on Zhou Yun.

This man was very attractive.

That was Zhou Yun’s first impression of him.
