Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1457: Chapter 749: Tracking (Part 3)

At this moment, Jerold Sanchi’s face seemed more sinister than a demon in Luke Serazi’s eyes.

Fear struck deep in Luke Serazi’s heart.

”I’ll talk, I’ll talk.”

He nodded furiously, offering to speak first, fearing that Jerold Sanchi might punch him before he had a chance to talk.

Seeing Luke Serazi like this, Jerold Sanchi finally smiled and said, ”You see, if you cooperated earlier, you wouldn’t have to suffer like this.”

...

Zhou Yun glanced at the time; it was already 7:25.

She was about to go for makeup and a fitting.

She was invited to the show, which was actually a promotion event for the D house.

Liu Yun came to pick up Zhou Yun.

When Zhou Yun left the house, there was a photographer arranged by D house shouldering a camera, filming.

Besides them, several domestic media outlets were also following to shoot.

These were all coordinated with Zhou Lan, who had granted the filming permission.

Zhou Yun didn’t see Zhou Lan in the fitting room.

”Hm, where’s Sister Lan?” Zhou Yun asked Liu Yun.

Liu Yun said, ”Sister Lan said she had something to do, she’ll come over later.”

”Oh.”

D house’s Joanna and several designers from the design department were already there, waiting for her.

Zhou Yun greeted them warmly and began picking out clothes.

”These are all our new season’s designs, not yet revealed,” Joanna said, ”You’ll be the first globally to wear them, regardless of the brand.”

Zhou Yun was somewhat surprised, her eyes widening, ”Really, then I should choose carefully.”

After some selecting and fitting, every piece was met with a round of discussion.

Zhou Yun trusted her own judgment, but also listened to surrounding opinions, combining them to make decisions.

For actresses, fashion is like a second battlefield or career track.

But Zhou Yun always kept a clear mind, knowing fashion wasn’t her main field, so she didn’t need to invest too much effort. She just needed to make her own judgments normally.

As long as she excelled in her acting career, all side ventures would follow along.

Thus, Zhou Yun chose dresses typically with a timeless, elegant, and enduring aesthetic style.

She didn’t wish to stand out in this area, leaving a deep impression.

She even hoped to blur her public image on a public level.

Best, it should be like plain water.

After settling tomorrow’s dress, Zhou Yun personally saw Joanna and the designers out.

”Thank you for your hard work,” Zhou Yun said.

”Every moment with you is a pleasure, it’s no trouble at all,” Joanna smiled slightly at Zhou Yun, ”We’ll head out first, maybe later we can chat again if there’s a chance.”

”Alright,” Zhou Yun nodded.

After seeing Joanna off, Zhou Yun was about to head back to her room when she saw Zhou Lan return to the hotel.

Zhou Lan’s expression was a bit dazed, as if pondering something.

Zhou Yun noticed this and called out to her.

It was not until then that Zhou Lan saw Zhou Yun.

She asked, ”Have you decided what to wear tomorrow?”

Zhou Yun nodded.

Zhou Lan said, ”I just went to see Jerold Sanchi.”

Hearing this name, Zhou Yun immediately understood what Zhou Lan went to do.

She asked, ”Did he find out anything?”

”The person who attacked you is named Luke Serazi. Indeed, someone paid him to do what happened this morning,” Zhou Lan said, ”But Luke Serazi doesn’t know who hired him, they conducted the entire transaction online with an anonymous account.”

”So it’s like that, huh,” Zhou Yun, after listening to Zhou Lan, remained silent for a moment, then said, ”So, there’s no way to find out who that person is?”

”At present, we don’t have a way,” Zhou Lan shook her head, ”Jerold Sanchi said it’s an anonymous account, making it very hard to track.”

”Alright.”

Zhou Yun said, ”Since we can’t find the person now, we can only be more cautious ourselves. Sister Lan, I’m a bit tired, I’ll go rest first. You should rest early too.”

”Mm,” Zhou Lan nodded.

Zhou Yun returned to her room under the escort of her bodyguards.

Zhou Lan stood still, without moving.

When Jerold Sanchi reported the investigation results to her, he also said this:

”Although we can’t figure out who hired Luke Serazi to do this right now, having the means to anonymously contact Luke Serazi is not something an ordinary person can do,” Jerold Sanchi said, ”This isn’t something an average person can just casually achieve.”
