Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1461: Chapter 751: Fighting for Seats

For celebrities and artists, attending a fashion show comes with an important task, which is to take photos with others.

These photos get uploaded to various corners of the internet, seen by many people, then commented on by many.

These pictures are both a promotion for the brand and for the celebrities and artists themselves.

Every year, there are even scandals about ”photo-bombing.”

For instance, a certain Celebrity takes advantage of the seat owner’s absence, sits beside a particular editor-in-chief, arranges for staff to take photos to create an illusion that they are seated next to said editor-in-chief, thus fabricating a high status and regard in the fashion circle.

Zhou Yun hasn’t attended many shows before, but each time she has, it’s been with very high standards of treatment.

Some people, when she wasn’t around, have sat in her seat to take photos.

For this, Zhou Yun has always been relatively lenient.

She understands everyone’s desires, and also understands this vanity.

However, Zhou Yun never thought she would encounter someone swapping her seat nameplate.

This happened after entering the venue. Zhou Yun, following the nameplate’s instructions, found her seat and was just about to sit down when someone suddenly approached to greet and take a photo with her.

Zhou Yun went to chat with the person.

She then quickly encountered D Company’s president and design director.

They welcomed her under Joanna’s introduction and took a photo together.

When she turned her head again, she saw someone else sitting in her seat.

Zhou Yun initially thought someone was borrowing her seat for a photo, so she waited for a bit. But who would’ve thought that after waiting for quite a while, that person was still energetically conversing with someone beside them.

Zhou Yun was slightly taken aback.

Zhou Lan noticed her unease and gave her a look, asking her what was wrong.

She didn’t know where Zhou Yun’s seat was, nor did she know that Zhou Yun’s seat had been taken.

The show was about to start, and the on-site host was already maintaining order.

Everyone was starting to return to their seats.

Seeing fewer and fewer people standing, Zhou Yun was a bit embarrassed standing in place.

She looked around, searching, and found that her nameplate had somehow been moved to a different seat in the front.

It was still in the first row, but instead of being next to the Italian Vogue editor-in-chief, she was now seated next to someone she didn’t recognize.

Zhou Yun hesitated for a moment, she didn’t have much time to think.

She decided to maintain decorum, let things go, and just sit in the seat with her nameplate.

But just then, the woman sitting in her seat looked up at her.

Zhou Yun clearly saw the woman’s gaze linger on her face for a second and then flick away, as if she was just a passerby.

But that gaze made Zhou Yun certain that this woman knew her.

Zhou Yun didn’t know who this person was.

Unfamiliar.

She had the look of a European or American, brown hair, a pair of beautiful green eyes, young and beautiful, continuously talking to the Italian Vogue editor-in-chief beside her.

Except the editor-in-chief didn’t seem particularly responsive, wearing sunglasses, not taking them off, nor turning his head towards her.

Zhou Yun felt a surge of anger rise in her heart.

Just because the show was about to start, she didn’t want to let this trivial matter affect others.

Her eyes shifted, and she walked straight towards Joanna.

Joanna was already seated, and seeing Zhou Yun suddenly approach, she immediately stood up and asked, ”What’s wrong?”

Zhou Yun briefly explained the issue of her seat being swapped, without glancing in that direction even once.

”Now that the show is about to start, I can’t go and say anything to anyone. I just don’t want people around to mistakenly think that person is me, so please handle it later,” Zhou Yun said.

Joanna’s expression immediately changed.

She looked angrily at the woman sitting in Zhou Yun’s seat and said to Zhou Yun, ”I’ll arrange for someone to remove her immediately.”

”No need.” Zhou Yun grabbed Joanna’s arm and said, ”Don’t let this little matter affect everyone’s mood for the show. There’s no need to let this become a spectacle. I just have a personal favor to ask; please don’t let anyone mistakenly think she is me, that’s all, thank you.”

Joanna also realized this wasn’t the time to arrange for someone to eject that woman.

Everyone was already seated, waiting for the show to begin. To make a scene about changing seats now would surely draw a lot of attention.
