Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1460: Chapter 750: Night Talk in Paris (3)

”Hmm.” Zhou Yun nodded.

Zhou Lan: ”In December, you’ll be joining the crew to film ’Killing Song.’ After finishing this movie, you don’t have any other work arranged. There are some projects still in discussion, but none have scheduled filming yet. Anyway, you finally won’t be working nonstop. Once you’re done with ’Killing Song,’ do you want to take a vacation and truly relax?”

”We’ll see.” Zhou Yun smiled, ”Who knows.”

”Oh, right, I almost forgot to tell you, remember that Japanese guy who stopped you after dinner?” Zhou Lan asked.

”Hmm.” Zhou Yun nodded, ”What’s up?”

”Do you know who the director is for the movie project he came to discuss with you?” Zhou Lan asked with barely contained excitement.

Zhou Yun asked, ”Who?”

Zhou Lan said, ”Guess.”

”Guess? Then I’ll just guess the one I most want to work with, could it be Director Yu Zhihe?” Zhou Yun casually mentioned the name of Japan’s hottest and most revered director.

She truly didn’t dare to think it was Yu Zhihe.

But Zhou Lan nodded and said, ”You guessed right, it is Yu Zhihe.”

Zhou Yun widened her eyes in disbelief.

”Really?”

”Really.” Zhou Lan said, ”I didn’t expect it either. Luckily, I stayed behind to chat more and found out that the film project they wanted to discuss with you is directed by Yu Zhihe. They’ve been preparing for many years, constantly revising the script. He personally admires you and wants to introduce you to Director Yu Zhihe.”

”Hmm.” Zhou Yun said, ”Then there’s no problem, but is the person really going to collaborate with Director Yu Zhihe on future projects? It seems unreliable to me, getting such opportunities over a meal.”

Zhou Lan said, ”You have to consider where you meet him. Right now, everyone staying at this hotel has been invited by D for their big show. Konosuke Harada’s film company has always closely worked with D, which is why they got an invite. Otherwise, how would a film company boss, who’s not a celebrity artist, be staying at this hotel at this time.”

Zhou Yun: ”Alright.”

”If it’s a film by Director Yu Zhihe, it’s a great opportunity.” Zhou Lan said, ”As long as the script is suitable, I think you wouldn’t refuse.”

”Hmm.” Zhou Yun nodded, ”But, Yu Zhihe has always made Japanese films, is there a role suitable for me in this project?”

”Yes, it’s for a Chinese woman.” Zhou Lan said, ”Previously, they’ve been looking at Chinese actresses, but it seems Yu Zhihe hasn’t found someone he’s satisfied with, so the script hasn’t been substantially revised.”

”I see.”

”Regardless, meet up and get acquainted.” Zhou Lan said, ”Even if this collaboration doesn’t work out, knowing each other might lead to future opportunities.”

”Hmm.”

With these world-class creators, opportunities are never scarce; if one collaboration doesn’t work out, there will be another.

The key is to meet them, let the director see you in person, which is never a bad thing.

An actress like Zhou Yun isn’t afraid of ”fade in the light”; in fact, seeing her in person can be even more enchanting.

Zhou Lan has always been confident in Zhou Yun, believing that no matter which director meets Zhou Yun, they’ll want to work with her.

Moreover, with Zhou Yun’s fame and fanbase, what kind of director wouldn’t want to collaborate with her.

”Alright, no more drinking, you have work tomorrow.” Zhou Lan stopped Zhou Yun’s hand as she reached for another bottle, ”Get some rest, sleep.”

”I can’t sleep, I slept too much during the day.”

”So, you want to keep drinking?” Zhou Lan asked.

Zhou Yun rolled her eyes and said, ”Keep drinking.”

”Aren’t you afraid of waking up with puffiness on your face, getting snapped by the media, and the world mocking your pig-face?”

”I’m naturally beautiful, what’s there to fear about a pig-face.”

”No way, no way, you can’t keep drinking after boasting about your natural beauty, you must be drunk.”

”Nonsense!”

”Knock it off! I know you well, praising yourself is so difficult for you, you’re so stubborn, only when you’re drunk do you say these things!”

Zhou Yun: ”Zhou Lan, how come you’re so annoying!”

”Today is the first day you know me? Just finding out I’m annoying?”
