Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1494: Chapter 676: Yu Zhiyang’s Arrival

Zhou Yun acknowledged with a sound.

”Then, I’ll have Yu Zhiyang come over tomorrow to meet Wen Bing.”

”Okay,” Song Chi replied, ”I’m still filming here, so I can’t come over.”

”No problem, focus on filming your scenes,” Zhou Yun said, ”Make sure to rest often and don’t overstrain your body.”

”Got it,” Song Chi said, ”How about you? How’ve you been lately?”

”I’m really glad I took this project,” Zhou Yun said, ”Spending time in the countryside every day, the change in scenery has really improved my mood.”

Song Chi: ”Seems like working with Wen Bing was a good idea. You were considering taking a break earlier.”

”The main reason is that this project is more slow-paced. If it were like ’Female Assassin’, I couldn’t do it at all,” Zhou Yun said. ”And there’s ’Killing Song’ coming up, I couldn’t handle that either.”

”When the time comes, you’ll definitely be able to handle it.”

Zhou Yun laughed.

Song Chi added, ”Oh right, I bought the rights to ’Laissez-faire’ and plan to adapt it into a TV series.”

”Really?” Zhou Yun said with excitement, ”Who are you planning to cast?”

Song Chi said, ”It’s still early, we’re working on the script. But I’m thinking of having our signed company actors take the roles. I’ve signed several actors.”

”Your company’s really expanding,” Zhou Yun said, ”I heard from Liu Yun that ’Daughter Will Not Leave the Hall’ is doing really well recently.”

”Yeah, it’s going well, beyond our expectations,” Song Chi sounded pleased, ”No platform wanted to buy it initially, but now it’s signed for profit-sharing, which has exceeded expectations. Two TV stations have even bought it.”

Zhou Yun felt happy for Song Chi.

”That’s good news.”

Earlier this year, Song Chi’s company was under financial pressure, but now it’s finally starting to turn around.

Song Chi said, ”We signed quite a few newcomers, and now two of them have started to shine.”

The two leads of ’Daughter Will Not Leave the Hall’, Ma Qi and Liu Lingxin, are signed actors at Song Chi’s company. At eighteen years old, they gained instant fame from the series, typical for young celebrities.

Zhou Yun said, ”Congratulations!”

Song Chi: ”Next time there’s a chance, I’ll bring them to meet you. If there are suitable roles on your end, guide them a bit.”

”Sure,” Zhou Yun agreed with a nod.

Song Chi is currently filming a series called ’Sellers’, another drama.

Song Chi mainly focuses on filming dramas, partly because he wants to break into the industry, and partly because owning a company, he aims to network and expand his company’s projects.

Like with ’Sellers’, he took the role because his company has a project lined up that requires the director of ’Sellers’. Through this connection, they collaborated.

Zhou Yun said, ”I originally wanted to visit the set, but it seems I can’t this time. Take care of yourself and don’t push too hard.”

”Okay, understood,” Song Chi nodded, ”You too.”

They ended the call.

Zhou Yun felt more at ease.

She always feels this way after talking with Song Chi.

When she’s with Song Chi, she always feels relaxed and comfortable.

The town at night is very quiet, with only occasional cars passing by, breaking the silence.

Zhou Yun slept soundly until the next morning, awakened by the rooster crowing.

Zhou Yun has grown accustomed to the sound of roosters crowing.

She stretched lazily.

The sun wasn’t out yet.

Zhou Yun walked to the window and opened it, letting in a refreshing cool breeze.

In autumn, the wind carries a chill.

Zhou Yun quickly put on her coat.

Children were already running on the street.

In front, there were breakfast stalls set up, the aroma was enticing.

This is the charm of the town, everything seems to spread along this street.

Everything is along both sides of the street.

Zhou Yun suddenly felt a bit hungry.

But she still changed into running shoes and athletic clothes, choosing to go for a run first.

Everyone was aware that a celebrity was in their town.

She hadn’t run far before some children started trailing her.

They didn’t greet her; they were simply curious and followed her.

Zhou Yun was used to it.

These kids were just curious.

Zhou Yun finished her run and returned to the town, planning to grab breakfast nearby.
