Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1465: Chapter 752: First Impressions (Part 2)

”Not at all, your name itself is a form of support,” Zhou Yun said. ”For many designers and local brands, your support is something tangible. We all know it’s no longer the era of ’a good product needs no advertisement,’ and we all understand that as public figures, we can achieve a lot. I’m really happy to be talking about this with you today; I always fear that talking about this with others will make them think I’m too ambitious or misguided.”

”We just want to do what we can, don’t worry about what others think,” Wen Xi said.

Zhou Yun nodded.

At this moment, Gilan Stuer, a brown-haired and blue-eyed woman, suddenly walked over to them.

Zhou Yun and Wen Xi immediately stopped talking and looked at her.

Gilan Stuer walked up to them, her eyes glaring arrogantly at the two of them.

Because of her tall stature, Zhou Yun had no choice but to accept being looked down upon.

However, Zhou Yun remained calm, completely ignoring the slight contempt in her eyes, and calmly returned her gaze.

”I heard you have a problem with me switching your seat?” Gilan Stuer looked at Zhou Yun, sneered coldly, and said disdainfully, ”Do you think you deserve to sit there?”

Zhou Yun was about to speak, but Wen Xi had already started: ”Whether she deserves it or not isn’t up to you. Zhou Yun was officially invited by D’s house to attend, and the seating was arranged by them. If you think she’s unworthy, go and tell D’s house. You didn’t say anything and secretly switched the seat card. That’s not switching, that’s stealing.”

”Did I say I was talking to you?” Gilan Stuer rolled her eyes, seemingly treating Wen Xi as insignificant, turned again to look at Zhou Yun, ”Don’t think D’s house considers you so important. If it weren’t for China’s market, how would they even notice you? Do you really think you have that many fans worldwide?”

Zhou Yun looked at Gilan Stuer in confusion, asking, ”How old are you?”

”What?” Gilan Stuer was momentarily stunned by Zhou Yun’s question, unable to react.

Zhou Yun said, ”Initially, I was angry about your behavior, but now I just find it ridiculous. I didn’t expect you to be so immature.”

Gilan Stuer widened her eyes, furious: ”You’re calling me immature?”

”What else? Who do you think you are? How popular do you think you are? Do you think the world revolves around you?” Zhou Yun mercilessly retorted. ”You blatantly snatch someone’s seat and self-righteously say others don’t deserve it. Do you dare to say this on your social media? Do you dare to say this to the brands you collaborate with?”

Gilan Stuer’s face changed.

”I didn’t cause trouble for you, yet you dare to provoke me. Are you used to being a bully in your own country, or do you think I can’t stand up to this?” Gilan Stuer’s foolishness angered Zhou Yun. ”I really don’t understand what you’re thinking, even brazenly admitting to switching the seats. Aren’t you afraid I’ll make this public?”

Gilan Stuer said, ”So what if you make it public? In the end, no one will prove what you say is true.”

She shrugged her shoulders.

Zhou Yun lightly chuckled, saying, ”True or false, whether it’s proven is another matter, but there’s a question at hand. If there are two answers, people will always choose one to believe. Believe you or believe me, I know some will believe you, but there will undoubtedly be those who believe me. When the situation escalates, with so many people present, you guess if anyone is willing to speak the truth?”

Gilan Stuer looked at Zhou Yun in surprise.

She frowned, unexpectedly finding Zhou Yun such a tough encounter.

At this moment, Gilan Stuer recalled her past interactions with those Asian celebrities.

In Gilan Stuer’s memory, Asian artists were all easy to bully.

Those people, whatever bullying they faced, they never dared to say anything.

For example, Wen Xi beside Zhou Yun, Gilan Stuer, being a supermodel herself, interacted a lot with her, frequently meeting through work, sharing the same events, competing for makeup rooms, and Wen Xi would always silently endure.

Gilan Stuer didn’t understand why Zhou Yun was different from the Asian artists she previously knew.

”There’s no need to try to scare me here; if you have the guts, go ahead and say it,” Gilan Stuer said.
