Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 1456: Chapter 749: Tracking_2

Director Yu Zhihe is precisely such a director.

It can be said that he is currently the top director in Japan, perhaps even without adding the words ”one of”.

Zhou Lan could imagine that if Zhou Yun knew that Director Yu Zhihe had a film project in which he intended to collaborate with her, Zhou Yun would absolutely agree without a second thought.

Right now, Zhou Yun is walking the path of international exposure, and cooperation with an international director is her best choice.

Zhou Lan hadn’t anticipated that she was so close to missing this opportunity.

Of course, she maintained a calm expression on her face, not letting herself appear overly excited.

”A film project by Director Yu Zhihe?” Zhou Lan displayed an appropriate level of surprise, saying, ”Wow, so Director Yu Zhihe is preparing to shoot a new movie.”

”We’ve been preparing for this film project for many years now. The script has undergone numerous revisions and hadn’t been finalized, and Director Yu Zhihe has had many projects in preparation. It was only this time that Director Yu Zhihe happened to have the time,” Konosuke Harada said. ”Because there is a main role in the film for a Chinese actress, we have been looking for a suitable Chinese actress to play this role. I had previously watched ’Life’ and was particularly eager to have Miss Zhou Yun meet Director Yu Zhihe.”

Upon hearing this, Zhou Lan nodded and said, ”Then let’s schedule a time later on. We’ll see when it’s appropriate, but Xiao Yun is about to start shooting ’Killing Song’ in December.”

”Then let’s strive to have a meeting before December,” Konosuke Harada replied.

”Alright,” Zhou Lan nodded.

...

”Luke Serazi?”

Jerold Sanchi glanced at the man standing before him.

His skin was pale, and he was extremely thin, making anyone who saw him wonder if he had health problems.

They met under an off-the-beaten-path streetlamp.

Luke Serazi looked at Jerold Sanchi and asked, ”You the one looking for me?”

”Yes,” Jerold Sanchi nodded.

”You said you had a deal to discuss, what kind of deal?” Luke Serazi asked directly.

Jerold Sanchi slightly smiled and said, ”Tell me who hired you to attack Zhou Yun at the airport, and I’ll give you ten thousand dollars.”

Luke Serazi’s expression changed instantly.

”What are you talking about? Who hired me to attack Zhou Yun?” Upon hearing this, his face changed, and he turned to leave.

”Hey! Why are you in such a rush to leave?” Jerold Sanchi stepped forward and grabbed Luke Serazi’s arm. ”You haven’t even finished speaking, and you’re in such a hurry to leave. Isn’t that impolite?”

The moment Luke Serazi was grabbed, he suddenly went berserk, violently breaking free and running forward.

As if Jerold Sanchi had expected it, he sighed helplessly.

The next second, two people charged forward, grabbing Luke Serazi from left and right.

Jerold Sanchi walked over slowly with his hands in his pockets.

Luke Serazi, in a helpless position, knelt on the ground and angrily shouted, ”Who are you people? Let me go!”

Jerold Sanchi smiled and said, ”When talking business, let’s have a good talk. Now, can you tell me who instructed you to do it?”

Luke Serazi stiffened his neck and said, ”No one instructed me to do it. I just found that Chinese woman annoying and didn’t want her to be happy. Is there a problem?”

”Yes, there is a problem because you’re lying,” Jerold Sanchi lifted his right hand and patted Luke Serazi’s face. ”You see, I already know you’re lying, so let’s skip the part where you deny it and I force you to admit it. Why don’t we just go straight to the truth, how about that?”

Throughout the process, Jerold Sanchi’s expression remained calm, even exuding elegance.

Luke Serazi was about to speak.

Jerold Sanchi punched him in the stomach.

”Ugh—cough, cough, cough—” Luke Serazi screamed and coughed violently.

Jerold Sanchi: ”Can you tell the truth now?”

Luke Serazi was about to speak again.

Jerold Sanchi punched him once more, this time harder.

Luke Serazi let out a loud, painful groan.

His entire body instinctively tried to curl up, but his arms were being held, and he couldn’t bend down.

Despite punching Luke Serazi twice, Jerold Sanchi seemed as if he hadn’t done anything at all, his expression still calm, as if he were just chatting with someone about the weather.
