Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 680: Chapter 489: Eight Characters in Conflict (Part 3)

”I’ve got something to tell you, the company is likely to arrange for me to co-star with Su Yan in a drama they are producing,” said Gu Huaichun. ”I know you two don’t get along well, but I might not be able to refuse this.”

Zhou Yun smiled and nodded, ”My issues with Su Yan are my own, it’s okay for you to work with her. I understand. Besides, she is a top-tier actress. Collaborating with her will benefit you — make the most of it.”

Gu Huaichun laughed.

”The competition in the film industry is really fierce these days. Every year countless newcomers enter, eyeing to surpass you,” he sighed.

”Have you already started feeling this crisis, even though you debuted less than two years ago?”

Gu Huaichun: ”Can’t help it, our Yuehai is overwhelmed too.”

Zhou Yun: ”...”

After dinner, the two returned to the hotel.

To avoid suspicion, they didn’t ride in the same car to prevent being photographed getting out of the same car.

After getting in the car, Zheng Xiaojue lamented, ”Why has Brother Gu become so dispirited?”

Zheng Xiaojue used to really like Gu Huaichun because he was sunny, handsome, and a bit of a carefree rogue.

As the car approached the hotel entrance, it was blocked by a crowd, making it impossible to drive through.

”Why are there still so many people lurking around?” Zhou Yun asked in surprise, ”Didn’t the hotel security manage this?”

Cao Jun said, ”Seems like something happened.”

”Something happened?” Zhou Yun frowned in confusion and looked ahead.

Just then, a heart-wrenching scream erupted from ahead, ”Let me go, let me go—”

How heart-wrenching was that scream? It suddenly screamed so loudly that it startled Zhou Yun in the car.

”Liu Zhikun, I love you—look at me, just look at me—” This girl screamed madly as if she had lost her mind, screaming and seeming to struggle with someone, her cries particularly tragic, as if she was about to be dragged to an execution ground.

Zhou Yun rolled down the car window and watched for a while before finally, the crowd parted, and four security guards, each grabbing an arm or a leg, carried a fiercely struggling person out.

Many people were filming with their phones.

The girl being held was twisting all over, shouting, ”Let me go! You’re violating my rights! What right do you have to grab me—let go! Let go! You bastards! Release me—”

Zhou Yun really didn’t want to listen any longer, the scenario almost confirmed to her mind that this was indeed a crazy fan, being taken away by the security, refusing to comply, causing a scene here.

Zhou Yun rolled up the car window again.

They weren’t in a hurry, they parked the car to the side, waiting for this farce to end and the crowd to disperse before they returned to the hotel.

”The Four Killers” chat group was already buzzing with a new message every second, scrolling through was quite terrifying.

Everyone was discussing the incident below.

From the chat group messages, Zhou Yun finally learned the full story.

The incident happened fifteen minutes ago.

Liu Zhikun was getting out of the car and heading to the hotel, typically greeted warmly by fans.

Liu Zhikun, wearing sunglasses and a mask, was walking to the hotel when suddenly a girl appeared, desperately begging to see Liu Zhikun.

Because it caused a big scene, Liu Zhikun, not to make things worse, took off his sunglasses and glanced at the girl, and even advised, ”It’s late, you should go back and rest.”

Who knew the girl would intensify her actions, bluntly shouting ”Husband, I love you!”

Liu Zhikun was startled.

His other fans were also angry, accusing the girl of crossing the line.

This girl, overly aggressive, provoked even further by shouting, ”Liu Zhikun is my husband, you’re just jealous, and your jealousy is useless!”

This is how the incident happened.

Zhou Yun felt very conflicted.

Over the years, she had seen plenty of fans chasing celebrities passionately, but to witness such madness firsthand was rare, especially that girl’s heart-wrenching screams, which were unforgettable.

The incident involving Liu Zhikun attracted quite some attention online.

Regarding irrational celebrity worship, people were already critical, and this noisy incident attracted comments from several official media.

How should fans rationally support celebrities?

What should celebrities do to guide their fans properly?

Among them, two official media mentioned Zhou Yun’s recent advice to her fans, praising the act.
