Caught in Affairs with Superstar

Chapter 652: Chapter 477: Who Knows

The key point is that today’s commercial shooting plan is very heavy, requiring Zhou Yun to walk through various different areas to shoot.

Nowadays, very few commercials are shot on location.

But because this time the brand side is a luxury brand, the main product is handbags, and the primary style they focus on is mature women.

Zhou Yun has to carry the handbag and show up in various places, with different styles but the same handbag theme, to complete this commercial.

The shooting isn’t difficult, just tiring.

After shooting one location, she needs to change clothes and move to the next set.

In one day, they only managed to shoot five locations.

The shooting would continue at night, including both day and night scenes.

The last scene was on a ferry, where Zhou Yun, holding the handbag, sat in a sightseeing chair on the ferry drinking coffee.

When Zhou Yun saw the shooting plan written like this, she thought to herself how pretentious it was.

But they are the financiers, so Zhou Yun couldn’t complain.

The director for this commercial is a famous foreign commercial director, his hair is all white, but he still keeps a robust physique, very charming.

He always calls her Yun.

Although Zhou Yun had a lot of complaints internally, she still cooperatively fulfilled the brand’s vision and completed all the shootings.

By nine thirty at night, they finally wrapped up.

Zhou Yun sighed deeply.

The person in charge of the brand in China gave her a gift, a bracelet from another line of the brand, the price isn’t exorbitantly high, yet also not cheap for a bracelet.

Zhou Yun graciously accepted it and thanked them.

As she was preparing to leave the set, Zheng Xiaojue suddenly winked at her.

Zhou Yun didn’t react at first and asked, ”Why are you winking? Did you get sand in your eye?”

Zheng Xiaojue rolled her eyes.

Behind her, Song Chi suddenly appeared, smiling.

”How come you are here?” Zhou Yun looked at him, pleasantly surprised.

Song Chi said, ”I heard you were shooting here, so I came over after leaving the company.”

Zhou Yun: ”I just finished shooting, so let’s go back together.”

She turned back to Zheng Xiaojue and others, saying, ”You don’t need to worry about me, I’m leaving with him.”

Zheng Xiaojue nodded, ”Then we’ll come to pick you up tomorrow.”

”Yes,” Zhou Yun agreed.

Tomorrow there was still a magazine cover shoot.

Zhou Yun got into Song Chi’s car, and as she was getting in, she saw flashlights across the street.

They seemed like ordinary people, not paparazzi, because they were using mobile phones and looked embarrassed when caught.

Zhou Yun didn’t bother with it and directly got into the car.

”The list of nominees for the Tiansi Award will be announced tomorrow,” Song Chi said. ”I’ve already received the news today, this time both of us got nominated.”

Zhou Yun opened her mouth in delight, ”Really? Did Su Yan get it too?”

”Yes, she got it,” Song Chi nodded. ”You’ll see when it’s officially announced tomorrow.”

”That’s great!” Zhou Yun was somewhat excited, ”So this time at the Tiansi Awards, is Yu Yhan not nominated?”

”It’s not just Yu Yhan, Lew Qingqing also didn’t get nominated,” Song Chi said. ”The nominee is Fan Zhu, she was nominated for ’Mother and Son Inn’.”

Zhou Yun was a bit surprised, ”Her?”

She had a well-known history with Fan Zhu.

”Yeah, so, I guess when the nomination list is released tomorrow, your fans will start fighting again,” Song Chi said laughingly.

Zhou Yun: ”What’s there to fight with her for, a person who talks without thinking, this time ’Heart Inquiry’ didn’t win anything, she’ll probably rant about our PR doing dirty tricks again.”

Song Chi: ”Too bad, this time you didn’t apply for the lead actress, otherwise the competition with her would have been interesting.”

”The best actress award at the Tiansi Awards will almost certainly go to Wei Ru Xue,” Zhou Yun said, ”There’s no one that can compete with her.”

”Not necessarily, generally the three big awards won’t go to the same person, unless the winner is really lucky, or there is no second person worthy,” Song Chi said. ”It’s basically an unspoken rule of the three big awards, they want to recognize more people. Besides, the Huayu Award leans towards the audience preference, while the Tiansi Award favors serious drama, Mo Zhihan has a bigger advantage than Wei Ru Xue, I think Tiansi might give it to Mo Zhihan.”

”Ah, ’Sky Domain’,” Zhou Yun suddenly realized, ”I haven’t watched that series, I always forget it, but its rating is so high, frighteningly high at 9.2.”

”Yes, just a bit low in collection,” Song Chi said. ”Actually, the series is very well made. I’ve watched a few episodes, haven’t finished yet, tells an epic story of a woman, Mo Zhihan performed very well.”

Zhou Yun: ”With you saying so, it’s probably almost certain.”

”Yes,” Song Chi nodded. ”You also need to be prepared mentally, this time at the Tiansi Awards you might not win Best Supporting Actress either, it’s not for any other reason, people say your role in ’Heart Inquiry’ was basically the lead actress, but you applied for a supporting role, it’s somewhat inconsistent with the reality which they seriously consider. Also, the jurors of Tiansi are not the same style as those of the Huayu Award, Tiansi jurors usually include veteran artists, not as diverse as those of the Huayu, they take these things seriously, they see a lead as a lead, and supporting as supporting.”

Zhou Yun nodded: ”Actually, that’s true, with all my scenes, competing for this award with others isn’t justified.”

Song Chi: ”You don’t have to be so modest, in terms of screen time Su Yan’s is longer than yours, and, in this play, the character He Mu I portrayed is the primary protagonist, there’s nothing wrong with your nomination as a supporting actress.”

Zhou Yun: ”Don’t comfort me, it doesn’t matter, I just hope ’Heart Inquiry’ can win the award, and Director Kang Xin to win an award.”

”Then you don’t hope I win an award?”

”You already won before, generally winning an award again depends on perfect synchronization of time, location, and people,” Zhou Yun said. ”Who knows.”
