Chapter 677: Chapter 488: Thank You, President Yao (Part 4)

”Mm.”

Song Chi asked, ”How is your hand now?”

”It doesn’t hurt much anymore, as long as I don’t touch it,” Zhou Yun said. ”How about your side? Is the shooting going smoothly?”

”Pretty smoothly, quite a different situation from yours since there are fewer people, just over twenty in the production team. We work together, dine together, and stay at the same hotel, so we have a good relationship.”

Zhou Yun: ”I’m really envious now.”

”Your next film will be much better, aren’t you going to shoot ’Splendid’?” Song Chi said, ”That’s the film you’re leading, and all the crew are your friends.”

Hearing Song Chi say this, Zhou Yun felt better and said, ”That’s true.”

”Also, didn’t you say Gu Huaichun and Meng Ran are staying in the same hotel as you? If you really feel bored and want to hang out with friends, why not find them?” Song Chi joked, ”I won’t be jealous.”

Zhou Yun: ”Forget it, their team is also rushing day by day, even at nine or ten o’clock at night they can’t wrap up.”

”Then there’s nothing you can do.”

...

The next day, Yao Yuanfeng came to the set.

His appearance naturally made everyone a bit nervous.

He is the big boss of the film.

Yao Yuanfeng spoke a few words with Hou Mengjie, then turned to Zhou Yun and asked, ”I heard you got injured yesterday, are you okay?”

”It’s okay, just a minor injury. It looks swollen and scary, but it’s nothing serious,” Zhou Yun said with a smile.

Yao Yuanfeng asked, ”Did you get an X-ray?”

Zhou Yun said, ”The doctor checked and said it’s not a bone or muscle injury, so I didn’t go.”

Yao Yuanfeng immediately frowned and called the life producer over.

”Why didn’t you take Zhou Yun to the hospital for an X-ray and a check-up immediately yesterday?” Yao Yuanfeng questioned angrily in front of the whole crew.

The life producer was stunned, not knowing what to say for a long while.

”Miss Zhou said it was fine, and due to the heavy filming tasks yesterday, I, I...”

”The filming tasks are heavy, and you’re treating an injured actor so carelessly!” Yao Yuanfeng scolded angrily, ”What did I always say? Didn’t I emphasize repeatedly that if anyone in the team gets injured, they must be sent to the hospital immediately for check-ups and treatment? The set doctor I arranged is for emergency use, not for you to really use as a doctor!”

The entire crew was silent.

He Xuran and a few others exchanged looks with complicated expressions.

Especially He Xuran, his expression was the most complex.

It was he who had injured Zhou Yun’s hand, and with Yao Yuanfeng suddenly becoming so furious on set, could this incident implicate him too?

Zhou Yun did not expect Yao Yuanfeng to be so furious.

During the filming of ’Two Tigers’, she got injured, but Yao Yuanfeng never lost his temper this much.

What’s going on?

Zhou Yun thought for a while, then stood up and said, ”President Yao, my injury really isn’t serious, I confirmed that myself and that’s why I told the producer not to go to the hospital.”

Yao Yuanfeng said to Zhou Yun, ”Xiao Yun, it’s not just about your injury that I say this. Some people are being hypocritical! Do my words as Yao Yuanfeng no longer matter? Any injury, no matter the size, whether it’s the main actor or a supporting actor or an extra, must be sent to the hospital for treatment. Being busy with tasks is not an excuse. Even though I wasn’t on set yesterday, I still know what happened. An actress was injured, you just applied some ointment and left it at that, and then continued filming? I don’t understand how you can be a life producer! Even if the filming tasks are heavy, what about after the shooting? Did anyone follow up on the condition of Zhou Yun’s finger later on? What if the injury suddenly becomes severe? It’s not like there hasn’t been an incident where someone seemed fine at first but then suddenly became paralyzed three days later! Why haven’t you learned your lesson yet!”

Yao Yuanfeng’s words hammered into everyone’s heart word by word.

Zhou Yun was also startled.

Someone became paralyzed?

She saw the life producer’s face turned white, and sweat rolled down his forehead.

After Yao Yuanfeng vented his anger and scolded the life producer, who dared not say a word,

He then said to Zhou Yun, ”You must go to the hospital for a standard examination later, don’t take it lightly. It’s not the 80s or 90s where we had to risk our lives.”

Zhou Yun smiled and nodded, saying, ”Okay, I got it, thank you, President Yao.”
