Amirqa’s attack prompted a reaction from Gu Xi’s subordinates.

All of Gu Xi’s subordinates rushed out, even the cannon fodder troops charged forward.

Amidst this frenzy, Gu Xi remained exceptionally calm. Under his control, his supporting units, such as Wangyan Musicians and Withered types, or powerful fighters like Isabella, kept a close eye on the battle situation.

They were either providing various effects to empower the Undead in advance or monitoring the health of the Undead Corps.

They were the foundation that allowed Gu Xi to send out these Undead.

Simultaneously, wave after wave of Necromancers were summoned by Gu Xi.

Their only task was to deploy Skeleton Priests.

Gu Xi ensured that for every hundred Undead, a Skeleton Priest followed behind.

This ensured the Undead Corps could unleash unrestricted carnage.

Under such empowerment and with the enhancement from Gu Xi and his Heroes, Gu Xi’s Undead Corps exhibited formidable combat power.

Their attacks on the Yakshas were exceedingly fierce; often, an Undead would only get one strike opportunity before the others swooped in to finish the job.

After encounters with seven or eight Undead, even the strongest Yaksha would be hacked into mincemeat.

Not to mention, many of these Yakshas rushed out hastily, without weapons in their hands, with their backs turned to the Undead Corps, suffering from such negative effects.

In just one encounter, about a third of the Yakshas were hacked to the ground.

Gu Xi’s eyes continuously flashed with lines of kill notifications.

However, the more intense the situation became, the calmer Gu Xi remained, methodically directing the battle.

Even when the Necromancers exhausted their mana and the Skeleton Priests expired and vanished, Gu Xi could always promptly replenish them, ensuring no gap appeared on the battlefield.

This guaranteed that his subordinates maintained sufficient combat power.

As for the bodies on the field, Gu Xi was in no rush to summon or clean up after the battle; he was waiting for the reaction from the Earth Demon Cave.

Gu Xi did not believe that there was no preparation inside the Earth Demon Cave.

Despite Gu Xi appearing to have mobilized his entire army, the most crucial elements like Death Incarnations, elite units, and Black and Red Dragons had not yet engaged; he was waiting for other developments.

However, after a long wait, there was no reaction from the Earth Demon Cave, as if Gu Xi had already lured out all the Yakshas.

This situation surprised Gu Xi.

Although nearly fifty thousand Yakshas was a significant number, it was not reasonable.

As Amirka nearly slashed through the Yakshas’ battle array in one direction, Gu Xi finally turned to look at Eldest Princess Anna.

”Don’t look at me; you need to make your own judgment.”

Eldest Princess Anna naturally sensed what Gu Xi was concerned about. She also understood that now was the best time for Gu Xi to learn to command battles.

Now, Eldest Princess Anna could only comment from the back, unable to assist Gu Xi in making judgments or directing actions further.

Doing so would affect Gu Xi’s growth.

Gu Xi was currently at a crucial moment of gaining experience. If he made a wrong move now, it would be challenging to recover later.

”Follow your own instincts; even if all the soldiers here are lost, so what, with Yalidov City in your hands, Double Death has brought back many Undead for you.

You can afford the losses.”

Prompted by Eldest Princess Anna, Gu Xi quickly reacted.

Indeed, he had nothing he couldn’t afford to lose.

The battle before him was under his control.

With a surge of thoughts, Gu Xi’s expression as he looked at the battlefield changed.

At that moment, Gu Xi felt as if he was standing aloft, observing the entire battlefield from above.

Although this was just a moment, in that instant, Gu Xi felt like the master of the entire battlefield.

He was a strategist.

While not every detail on the battlefield could enter Gu Xi’s eyes, he had complete grasp over the overall situation.

In parallel, Gu Xi had corresponding judgments on the conditions of his subordinates, Heroes, Bosses, and Warriors.

He clearly understood where to place these figures.

This revelation suddenly made Gu Xi comprehend his previous experience in the Undead Calamity Array.

Maybe the one behind the Array at the end looked at him just as he was now regarding his own Heroes.

Seeing only orders to maneuver, replenish, and retreat.

Although Gu Xi’s transformation was brief, it all fell under Eldest Princess Anna’s observation.

She nodded approvingly.

Gu Xi’s growth showed that he had matured.

Next, Gu Xi needed to continuously engage in battles, using the Undead Corps to feed his combat experience.

Whether it’s Gu Xi’s own Undead or his enemies, this path is destined to be paved with others’ corpses.

At that moment, Gu Xi slowly raised his head, ”Ghost Squad for finishing; Amirka, withdraw and counter; Brave Fight, cast Ice Storm; Camp Bone, take the main gate; Black Spear Camp, take the back gate, charge into the Earth Demon Cave.”

Under Gu Xi’s orders, his Undead quickly shifted their tactics.

The previously chaotic battle resumed its orderly structure.

Amirka, who had gained significant ground, intended to send more troops to charge again, but under Gu Xi’s firm command, eventually retreated near the City Gate.

Watching Amirqa linger below the city, Gu Xi didn’t spare a glance.

At this moment, Gu Xi finally understood Eldest Princess Anna’s mindset.

I am the master of the battlefield; you follow orders.

Why should I consider your interests?

Slowly, Gu Xi’s heart also grew firmer.

In subsequent commanding, Gu Xi did not get bogged down in details.

He paid no mind to the Yakshas cut down, instead decisively adjusting his troops in response to the unfolding situation.

Fortunately, earlier, Gu Xi’s Mind Kill drew out all the Yakshas from the Earth Demon Cave.

Inside the Earth Demon Cave, nothing required adjustment, and there was no complex multi-front warfare in the current battle.

Even if issues arose, Gu Xi could easily handle them.

Now that all the Yakshas outside the camp were dead, and most of Gu Xi’s Undead had charged into the Earth Demon Cave city.

Those remaining outside were mere level 4 filler troops that Gu Xi had deployed.

They were now following the Ghost Squad on the battlefield, finishing off adversaries, as the Ghost Squad’s ’numbers’ rose from the original fifty or sixty thousand to seventy or eighty thousand.

Just when Gu Xi thought this battle was about to end.

A sudden, violent tremor emanated from underground.

The tremor was extensive, affecting not only Gu Xi’s camp but also the nearby Earth Demon Cave.

The City Wall closest to Gu Xi even collapsed, exposing the inside of the Earth Demon Cave.
