Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 633: Chapter 631: The Unexpected Use of Gray Supreme Quality

As Gu Xi gave the command, the undead under his command began to move.

Gu Xi also took the opportunity to open the main city gate and let the undead transport these Broken Scale Ores back to Yalidu City.

When the main city gate opened, Luna floated out leisurely.

”My lord.”

”Luna, why did you come out? Is the New Yaliduvi District taken care of?”

”The Assembly Hall is built, and the district is mostly organized. I have some free time now, so I came to take a look.”

Luna explained the situation on the New Yaliduvi District to Gu Xi.

Initially, Gu Xi and Luna had discussed dismantling the New Yaliduvi District and re-dividing the New Yalidu City before considering construction issues.

These matters involved the participation of several architects under Gu Xi.

Currently, only a draft plan is made; the detailed plan hasn’t been finalized yet.

However, one thing is clear: the style here will be distinctly different from Yaliduwei Old City District.

After all, most of the houses here are demolished. The New Yaliduvi District is a blank slate for Gu Xi to arrange as he wishes.

Luna then said to Gu Xi.

”By the way, my lord, do you still have the Champion’s Battle Intent you sent earlier?”

”Ah, yes, why? Those gray Champion’s Battle Intent can’t impact Skeleton Soldiers or similar undead troops, right? At most, they can be used for Corpse Poison Flies and Bone Locusts, Evil Bone Locusts, right?

Is there a large amount of Bone Locusts being produced?”

Gu Xi’s initial plan was to let the Bone Locusts use these gray Champion’s Battle Intent.

One Bone Locust devours one share of the Champion’s Battle Intent.

A thousand Bone Locusts form a swarm.

In this way, these non-fusible Champion’s Battle Intent would combine differently.

According to Gu Xi’s estimate, every swarm of Bone Locusts that completely devours the gray Champion’s Battle Intent is equivalent to a normal Blue Quality Champion’s Battle Intent.

However, Gu Xi’s number of Bone Locusts was relatively low.

While they could devour anything to replenish their consumption, once a Bone Locust swarm reaches a thousand, their devouring stops.

Gu Xi only had just over a hundred swarms of Bone Locusts and Evil Bone Locusts.

And the quantity of gray Champion’s Battle Intent he possessed is considerable, with no reason to run out immediately.

As Gu Xi wondered about this situation, Luna explained to him.

”No, I’ve reserved enough Champion’s Battle Intent for the locusts. However, one architect discovered that these Champion’s Battle Intent can be crushed and integrated into the soil. Using this soil to pave roads might not have much effect in small areas.

But if it could pave a road ten miles long, the Champion’s Battle Intent would reach Purple Quality, potentially affecting the entire district.”

Upon hearing this, Gu Xi paused and then realized whose idea it was.

The architect who used tiger skins to design Tiger Skin Square was an expert in material manipulation.

He was always researching how to enhance building quality using materials.

Only he could play such tricks.

”No problem, there’s plenty of this stuff in the Soul Gathering Land. I have an idea. If this can pave Champion Avenue, could it be used to construct city walls or arrow towers?”

Listening to Gu Xi’s idea, Luna nodded seriously, ”I will consider that. If not, there are other materials. This time, a substantial amount of materials was brought back.

That person has been researching these materials constantly.

I believe these materials will be crucial to our Yalidu City.”

Gu Xi nodded as well and thought to himself: It’s a good thing I didn’t look down on the gray materials like other players, otherwise I would have missed this opportunity.

While Gu Xi and Luna conversed, all the Broken Scale Ores stored here had been transported away.

Seeing the mine empty, Gu Xi ordered the troops to camp and rest.

This time, Gu Xi focused on Kaga.

As for the Black Spear Camp, Gu Xi organized the newly converted Skeleton Soldiers into it to bolster the forces.

These Skeleton Soldiers are only level 4, but there’s no other way. Gu Xi cannot directly improve their level.

Arroyo didn’t object to this.

Arroyo is savvy, understanding his position clearly. He also knows that Gu Xi’s support won’t always be there.

The Bone-Slaying Camp also needed to participate in battles.

Now reinforced, he quickly adjusted tactics, aiming to get the newly added Skeleton Soldiers accustomed to the strategy.

But Kaga was different. Once Gu Xi established the subordination, Kaga had no time to concern himself with the soldiers. He pulled Die Bone aside to discuss future directions for Die Bone’s progression.

Kaga was persuasive about Die Bone’s development path.

He chose a charge-defense counterattack route himself.

He made this choice because he had no other options.

Now, with Die Bone present,

it’s different. Kaga had countless regrets over not choosing different paths in the past.

He contemplated how differently he could develop had he chosen another route initially.

Kaga also knew where the biggest weakness in his team lay.

This was evident when he later added a Vampire’s Touch.

His troops had low health, enough defense but couldn’t withstand full-force attacks from enemies.

If too many soldiers died, even with counterattacks, it wouldn’t matter.

So, blood replenishment became his top priority.

But blood replenishment requires skills.

Kaga didn’t choose a different path in advance, and now it’s too late to revert.

Kaga pulled Die Bone aside and set a direction for Die Bone.

Blood Bull.

This was the route Die Bone had to take next.

Only by increasing the total life could his soldiers not be instantly eliminated in battle.

Only then would their Thorny Aura and Vampire’s Touch be effective.

Die Bone understood this too; it was his only option. Following Kaga’s path wasn’t beneficial to him.

Even reaching Kaga’s attribute level wouldn’t change much.

Kaga wouldn’t relinquish the main hero position.

And Gu Xi wouldn’t establish a new corps for Die Bone. If he didn’t want to become cannon fodder, making up for deficiencies with Kaga was the final possibility.
