”Ice Ring Skill?”

Gu Xi looked at the spell that fell on the battlefield and knew that Brave Fight was anxious.

It seems that in order to escape the fate of using only three kinds of magic when going into battle, he really took a shortcut this time.

The altar used for the Ice Ring Skill can directly borrow the altar of the Ice Storm, and the manpower can also use those from the Ice Storm.

Even when those Skeleton Mages were preparing the Ice Storm, he had already calculated everything and directly took some things out to use, just to release an Ice Ring in the shortest time.

Even if it’s just one wave of Ice Ring.

As a result, the Ice Ring was indeed released.

But the effect of the Ice Ring seemed somewhat astonishing.

The Flying Team hit by the Ice Ring was instantly frozen on the spot.

The attack range of the Ice Ring expanded; this was something Brave Fight anticipated.

But the effect of the Ice Ring changing into this was unexpected for Brave Fight.

He looked at the affected companions, unsure of what to say.

However, Gu Xi didn’t blame Brave Fight because Gu Xi usually wouldn’t consider whether there were friendly forces near enemies when he used magic.

The Chain Corpse Burst he just learned was the same.

Under the explosion, all beings are equal.

Even the Black Dragon could be injured by the explosion.

This loss wasn’t significant; Gu Xi just lamented that Brave Fight was a bit rushed, unlike his usual response.

With the Ice Ring Skill released, Brave Fight didn’t stop. He immediately switched to a field using the altar prepared for Mana Extraction.

This time he was preparing to experiment with the final Ritual Magic.

But at this moment, Robbie from the Bone-Slaying Camp managed to kill the hero from the Flying Team, while also easily slaying a few Bone-Feathered Serpents nearby, effectively delivering the final blow to this Windward Camp.

This left Brave Fight without a target.

And a bit further away, the battle for the Steel Bone Camp was about to end, with the Black Spear Camp plus two new armies attacking together. The troop strength alone far exceeded that of the Steel Bone Camp.

Not to mention the Steel Bone Camp itself was a chaotic battalion.

They were just right to be restrained by Kaga.

In the chaos, the Undead of the Steel Bone Camp harmed more of their own.

However, they at least fought a proper battle; they at least resisted head-on against Gu Xi’s three units, exhausting their last forces.

In this battle, the enemy of the Steel Bone Camp also showcased their formidable side.

When their troops were eliminated, a quarter of the Black Spear Camp’s personnel was lost, a third of Kaga’s subordinates too, and as for Die Bone’s Undead, because their Level was the lowest, half were outright killed.

It can be said that Gu Xi didn’t gain much advantage this time.

After all enemies were slain, Gu Xi immediately issued orders.

”Kaga, reorganize the remaining forces, and all of Die Bone’s subordinates should be incorporated into your unit; Die Bone also handed over to you.

Arroyo, Robbie, lead your teams back to restore combat power.

Notify the city that all new units are to be deployed to prevent any enemy sneak attack.

I will handle the battlefield.

Soul Summoning Skill!”

After issuing all the instructions clearly, the Soul Summoning Skill was directly released, activated by the Soul Summoning Tower, and launched towards the two battlefields ahead.

As Gu Xi released the Soul Summoning Skill, Brave Fight’s eyes lit up behind him.

”That’s it, if only I too had a moving altar to place on the battlefield.”

Actually, the large-scale use of the Soul Summoning Skill by the Soul Summoning Tower was Brave Fight’s motivation for researching Ritual Magic.

He also wanted, like Gu Xi, to use tens of thousands of Mana in an instant, summoning tens of thousands of Undead.

However, currently, Brave Fight has not reached that level, at least lacking significantly in Mana compared to Gu Xi.

Now, he can only slowly research various Ritual Magics, preparing to take his own step forward.

As for the matters behind him, Gu Xi knew nothing.

At this moment, he shook his head slightly, somewhat disappointed.

The result of this Soul Summoning didn’t satisfy him.

None of the two dead enemy Undead Heroes were successfully summoned.

And because of the type of units Gu Xi could summon, he could only choose among Skeleton Soldiers, Zombies, and Ghosts.

Gu Xi couldn’t make Skeleton Soldiers grow flesh, nor make flying units.

So ultimately, what Gu Xi gained this time was mainly Ghosts and Skeletons.

Skeleton Soldiers were just normal Skeleton Soldiers, at most with weapons in hand, entirely different from the previous Steel Bone situation.

It can be said the idea of replenishing forces through Soul Summoning failed halfway.

However, fortunately, Gu Xi’s Talent is there.

Double Death can produce another Undead Corps in Yalidov City.

This Undead Corps can usually successfully replicate most of the previous battle unit’s conditions.

Gu Xi feels Double Death is the correct path that Eldest Princess Anna chose for him.

Only this way, he’ll have more and more opportunities to fight.

At this time, under Gu Xi’s orders, two new units just walked out from the Steel City Gate.

These two units were exactly what Gu Xi expected, replicas of the Steel Bone Camp and Windward Camp.

From the soldiers’ conditions to the heroes, everything was identical, only lacking the corresponding weapons in hand.

After coming out, Gu Xi obtained relevant information about the two heroes.

One hero was a skeleton all over like steel, holding two hand axes and did not ride a mount.

The other was a Skeleton Shooter riding on a Bone Griffin, holding a bow and arrow.

From their appearance, it was clear from which unit they were converted.

[Steel Guard Dali (Level 7, Summoned Creature, Undead Hero): Experience (0/5500), Attack 8, Defense 3, Life 65, Mana 10, Talent: Steel Bone (allows subordinate Skeleton Soldiers to absorb steel or other metals to strengthen attributes), Skills: Jump Slash, Tornado Slash, Slashing Kill, Leader (can command 90 soldiers + 7 heads of units simultaneously).]

[Feiwei Miduo (Level 7, Summoned Creature, Undead Hero): Experience (0/6500), Attack 7, Defense 4, Life 45, Mana 30, Talent: Child of the Wind (every Level increased, subordinate units’ movement speed +1), Skills: Rapid March, Acceleration Skill, Pathfinding Skill, Leader (can command 94 soldiers + 7 heads of units simultaneously).]

Understanding the situations of these two heroes, Gu Xi pretty much figured out their previous roles.

That one called Mido, he was a hero used for transportation, not specializing in sudden strikes and flanking; he should have been responsible for transporting mined resources.

And Dali was an assault soldier; direct combat should suit him. It’s just unknown whether this hero, during life, was as reckless as Kaga.
