In the end, Luna still couldn’t find the time to go with Gu Xi to the Soul Gathering Land’s Market.

There were too many things that needed her attention in the newly acquired New Yalidu City.

The construction of the new Assembly Hall, other core buildings, as well as adjustments to the Carriage Station, sewers, and waterways, all required Luna’s personal involvement.

The current estimation of plot numbers in New Yalidu City is only a forecast.

The final number of plots still depends on Luna’s clearing and arrangement of New Yalidu City.

Luna really couldn’t spare the time to follow Gu Xi to take a stroll in the Soul Gathering Land.

Fortunately, the Soul Gathering Land had been there for countless years; whether they went sooner or later, the market wasn’t going anywhere.

Gu Xi had no intention of insisting that Luna accompany him.

When Luna started working, Gu Xi voluntarily excused himself, leaving Yalidu City without disturbing Luna.

But upon his exit, Gu Xi was surprised to find a new option for entering and exiting Yalidu City.

He could now appear in front of the Old Yalidu City’s Assembly Hall, within the Yaliduvi Tower, or in front of the newly constructed New Yalidu City’s Assembly Hall.

It seems that Death City adapts and changes as the city grows.

After all, Death City is an aid to Players, not a shackle, and won’t burden them.

Once outside Yalidu City, Gu Xi reappeared at the Li Family Inn.

Seeing Gu Xi return alone, Shaya was somewhat surprised.

”Sir, Luna didn’t want to come over?”

”The new New Yalidu City has just been taken, there’s too much for her to handle. She might not have any free time in the coming days, but she did give me a list of all the materials Yalidu City currently needs.

Looks like we’ll need to make a special trip to the market.”

Hearing Gu Xi’s words, Shaya promptly jumped up.

”No problem, I’ll lead the way now.”

”No rush, we still need to wait for someone.”

”Who are we waiting for?”

Shaya looked at Gu Xi with some confusion.

”The Eldest Princess Anna; she also needs to buy some things but mentioned she has some matters to attend to and will be here soon.”

Upon hearing the name of the Eldest Princess Anna, Shaya immediately held her tongue.

Shaya’s personality feared neither heaven nor earth, but in front of a powerful presence like Eldest Princess Anna, Shaya didn’t dare act recklessly.

She could only murmur to herself on the side.

”Why is she coming?”

”She’s planning to tackle the Westminster Cathedral, some preparations are required.”

”What’s there to prepare for a dungeon?”

Shaya asked somewhat puzzled, and then immediately realized.

The current situation of the Eldest Princess Anna makes it unsuitable for her to appear in the Westminster Cathedral dungeon.

Because there is already another living Eldest Princess Anna in the dungeon.

If Gu Xi were to bring the Eldest Princess Anna into the Westminster Cathedral dungeon, a confrontation between the two would surely arise.

But not bringing the Eldest Princess Anna in or concealing her identity would be dismissive of her.

Even though Eldest Princess Anna is Gu Xi’s Contracted Undead, she has her temper.

Such temper would likely cause trouble for a long time, so Eldest Princess Anna must go to the Westminster Cathedral, even if it’s only once.

For this, the Eldest Princess must find a way to resolve the conflict between the two princesses.

And the market in the Soul Gathering Land contains items from the Yin and Yang Realms that will surely have a solution to this issue.

Understanding this, Shaya immediately kept silent.

Her mind started weighing which store in the market might carry such items.

At this moment, the special mirror in Gu Xi’s hand flickered.

This caused Gu Xi to momentarily pause in surprise.

”So soon?”

Then Gu Xi activated the special mirror, and the Eldest Princess Anna, dressed differently, appeared before him.

”This Mysterious Mirror Image Space is really great, making city access much more convenient.”

The Eldest Princess Anna appeared as Gu Xi had initially seen her, dressed in a white robe with golden trim, though she wore no accessories and carried no weapons.

The gold griffin embroidered at the cuffs had changed to a black dragon.

Such attire was quite conspicuous in the Soul Gathering Land.

However, Eldest Princess Anna didn’t mind; after sitting down in front of Gu Xi, she looked up at Shaya.

”Should we head out now?”

Shaya was already very familiar with the tone of the Eldest Princess Anna’s speech.

She doesn’t mean to look down on anyone; it’s simply her way of speaking.

”How about some food? The items here are tailored to each Undead’s situation, much better than the tavern in Yalidu City.”

At Shaya’s suggestion, the Eldest Princess Anna paused for a moment.

Normally, such a thing wouldn’t hold the Eldest Princess Anna back.

Yet, the tavern in Yalidu City unequivocally did not have anything palatable.

Gu Xi, being alive, sometimes had to resort to such things to stave off hunger in the game.

But the Undead in the city, unless they truly needed to eat, wouldn’t even go near Yalidu City’s tavern.

The Eldest Princess Anna couldn’t recall when she last ate normally.

Absorbing the negative energy of Yalidu City day by day was passable, but sometimes, the Eldest Princess truly wanted to taste something different.

Even a British pigeon pie or starry pastry would suffice.

”Then... let’s eat a bit.”

As soon as the Eldest Princess Anna finished speaking, a few waiters began serving her dishes.

The inns in the Soul Gathering Land were very competitive.

As soon as someone appeared near an inn, services were swiftly offered.

One didn’t need to order; just sitting down implied a desire to eat.

Meals suited to them would be served.

If you’re a regular, the food served caters to your tastes.

This was exactly Gu Xi’s prior experience and now the Eldest Princess Anna’s.

The waiters quickly served the Eldest Princess Anna large chunks of meat, still dripping with blood.

By outside standards, the meat wasn’t even medium-rare, still bloody.

Ordinary people likely wouldn’t accept such doneness.

But for the Undead, it wasn’t a big deal.

Some Undead even preferred eating raw meat.

After determining the Eldest Princess Anna’s needs, large slabs of meat were promptly offered.

Along with them came prepared sauces and blood-like beverages.

The Eldest Princess Anna looked at the dishes before her, ready to give them a try, but was surprised when any dish she passed on was quickly replaced with another of the same kind but prepared differently by the waiters.

This left the Eldest Princess Anna astounded.
