Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 618: Chapter 616: Several Heroes

Leaving the Soul Gathering Land with the task list, Gu Xi happened to encounter players from other guilds entering the city.

Seeing the other players leading a large number of elite undead into the city, Gu Xi’s confidence returned.

After leaving the Soul Gathering Land, Gu Xi first determined the direction and then found a quiet place to deploy the Main City Gate.

Eldest Princess Anna began to mobilize the troops.

In the previous battles in the New Yaliduvi District, it was Eldest Princess Anna who was in charge there.

At this time, she had more say.

Meanwhile, Gu Xi immediately called out Di Mi.

”Di Mi, these tasks are for you.”

Taking the task list from Gu Xi, Di Mi looked through it carefully for a moment.

”Just to kill enemies?”

Di Mi then understood Gu Xi’s intention; right now, Di Mi couldn’t prove herself in other aspects.

Gu Xi was letting her perform field battles based on her early engagement with Gu Xi.

If it were anyone else, they would have been sent by Gu Xi to guard the mine caves long ago.

”Rest assured, my lord, I will handle everything. If I finish killing all these enemies, can I return to the city for other tasks?”

”Yes.”

Gu Xi did not refuse Di Mi’s request, knowing she wouldn’t finish off all these enemies so quickly.

The wild ghosts on Di Mi’s task list were all about quantity.

Although each group of wild ghosts wasn’t large, the number of ghost groups here was quite a lot.

Even the Soul Gathering Land didn’t expect to clean up the wild ghost groups through such tasks, and Gu Xi didn’t believe Di Mi could do it.

However, seeing Di Mi shake off her previous lady-like demeanor, adopting a more iron-blooded attitude, Gu Xi didn’t say much.

He simply gave Di Mi one last chance.

After getting Gu Xi’s approval, Di Mi rolled up the task list, turned and said to Liu Sheng, ”Let’s go!”

As Di Mi left, Liu Sheng and the troops under Di Mi also left with her.

Watching Di Mi’s troops, Gu Xi couldn’t help but shake his head.

Among the three camps of the Rose Corps, except for the Red Blood Camp which couldn’t speed up due to the vampires, the Cyan Zombie Camp and Gray Soul Camp were already fully organized. The Cyan Zombie Camp mostly had Electric Zombies, and the Gray Soul Camp mostly had Battlefield Ghosts.

Even the Gray Soul Camp had a specific hero, Liu Sheng, managing it.

If not for her bad luck, with such a troop, she could have done well anywhere.

But here with Gu Xi, her situation wasn’t so good; she had to take the initiative to complete some of the most dangerous and difficult tasks.

Don’t think Gu Xi’s task list for her was simple.

Everyone knows that once some things reach a volume, the situation becomes different.

Moreover, Di Mi, in order to prove herself, wouldn’t just engage in simple battles. This time, she was likely going to give it her all.

After Di Mi and her troops left, Gu Xi then called out the other heroes under his command.

Amirka came out, nodded to Gu Xi, and stood alone to the side.

The other four heroes split into two groups: those with their own units and those without.

”Arroyo, has the Black Spear Camp been replenished?”

”The troops have been replenished, and the soldiers have been transformed, but there’s no way to make up for the lost levels and experience. I’ve already spoken with Fu Gu, all the expedition tasks are prioritized for the Black Spear Camp.

But even so, many soldiers are still only Level 5, unable to reach the previous level.”

Hearing this, Gu Xi also felt a bit of a headache.

That’s the trouble with large legion battles.

If the losses are significant and there’s no plan for troop replenishment, the entire legion could face issues immediately.

Like the current situation with the Black Spear Camp, losing over seventy percent of their troops, without reserve forces, everything had to be retrained and retrained.

Of course, there’s the option of using the Eternal Enslavement Altar, reviving any kind of unit with enough negative energy.

But normal people wouldn’t do that.

It’s not like it’s a champion troop or elite soldiers; they’re not undead bosses, nor have they reached level 10.

Given the situation, Arroyo naturally opted to revive a few, while using various methods to supplement the rest.

So now, the Black Spear Camp can be considered nearly replenished in terms of soldiers, but recovering its original combat power will likely take a long time.

Nevertheless, the Black Spear Camp certainly wouldn’t miss this battle.

Arroyo assured, ”Rest assured, my lord, there are still some strong soldiers in the Black Spear Camp. As long as they participate in the battle, we can ensure the combat power of the Black Spear Camp.”

Gu Xi said nothing, merely turning his gaze towards the other two undead heroes.

These two undead heroes, one was a Ghost Hero, and the other was a Magic Hero.

Both of them were paying attention to Gu Xi at this time.

Ghost Hero Lewis’s eyes were brighter, whereas Magic Hero Brave Fight lacked that same energy.

It was easy to see their respective situations.

Lewis was a Ghost Hero, his abilities were all based on ghosts.

In fact, he was a similar type of hero to Liu Sheng.

However, Liu Sheng had already joined Di Mi’s side.

Now, with Gu Xi needing to choose a hero to command the ghosts, he naturally was the first choice.

As for Brave Fight, he actually had a better path; he was qualified to control all mages under Gu Xi.

It’s just that Gu Xi’s mage troops weren’t many - Skeleton Mages, Corpse Witches, and even Withered could be counted.

All these were treasures under Gu Xi; he could lead them himself, no need to let Brave Fight lead.

So, at present, Brave Fight was not quite as favored as Lewis, who joined him at the same time under Gu Xi.

Now, as Gu Xi turned his gaze over to them, their reactions differed.

Lewis’s eyes flashed with excitement, while Brave Fight remained calm as before, showing no reaction, looking down as if he’d cover himself with a newspaper if he had one.

Glancing at them, Gu Xi pointed to Brave Fight and said, ”Brave Fight, if I give you a Mage Corps, what could you do?”

Brave Fight immediately raised his head, looking at Gu Xi with disbelief, then pushed his glasses and asked, ”What kind of Mage Corps does my lord desire?

Forbidden large area attack?

Battlefield control skills?

Or like the shooters, performing ranged attacks at the rear?”

Hearing Brave Fight’s question, Gu Xi laughed as well.

”And you, mastering Eagle Eye, with a secret technique book to record everything, I’ve also opened up all the magic towers in Yalidov to you. What have you learned, what have you mastered?”
