”Soul Summoning Skill!”

It wasn’t until most of the Bone Camp charging forward were killed that Gu Xi cast the first spell of this battle.

Soul Summoning Skill!

Taking advantage of the wide effect of the Soul Summoning Tower, Gu Xi immediately summoned all the enemies on the battlefield.

Although the enemy’s team had Vampires, Gu Xi’s Soul Summoning Skill level was still at the Ghost stage.

Whether it was summoning Vampires, Corpse Witches, or Bone Dragons, Gu Xi hadn’t yet learned those.

Of course, Gu Xi didn’t convert all the undead corpses into Ghosts.

That did not align with Gu Xi’s strategy.

At least, it didn’t match Gu Xi’s requirements for troop strength.

Gu Xi needed to ensure the diversity of his troops.

As the Soul Summoning Skill took effect, undead soldiers began to crawl up from the ground.

They took various weapons and equipment from the previous bodies to arm themselves.

Since Gu Xi was summoning following the direction of the original undead, regardless of the level at which the undead rose, their profession and race wouldn’t change much.

Gu Xi had no intention of turning Skeletons into Ghosts.

At most, the Undead level Gu Xi summoned would not match the enemy’s Undead level.

Additionally, Vampires couldn’t retain their skills.

However, there were benefits this time as well. The enemy clearly had an Undead Hero and seven Undead Bosses who couldn’t escape.

Thus, Gu Xi’s attention immediately shifted towards the Undead Hero slaughtered by the Bone Titan.

Under the influence of Gu Xi’s Soul Summoning Skill, a zombie-like undead climbed up from the flesh.

As he rose, a black Magic Array appeared behind him, and a Bone Warhorse jumped out from it.

The zombie mounted the Bone Warhorse with a swift move, then he raised a flagpole.

However, his flagpole had no Battle Banner, leaving it looking like an ordinary wooden stick.

[You used Soul Summoning Skill successfully, received an Undead Hero (Level 4), Soul Summoning Skill experience 1 point,]

[Die Bone (Level 4, Summoned Creature, Undead Hero): Experience (0/2500), Attack 2, Defense 3, Life 45, Mana 30, Talent: Bone Armor (adds one layer of Bone Armor for subordinates per level up), Skills: Charge (increases Soldier Attack Power by 1 point when charging, and another point for every 50 soldiers charging), Curse Mastery, Leader (can command 65 soldiers and 7 bosses simultaneously).]

Seeing Die Bone’s status, Gu Xi wondered if he was seeing things.

Is this some kind of patchwork hero?

His talent clearly was Defensive Type, but his first skill was obviously a Knight’s skill.

If it stopped at these two, it might be alright, Gu Xi thought of him as a strong Defense Knight capable of charging.

But his second skill was in the Curse category, indicating he’s part of the Magic System.

This hero’s condition is a mess.

Gu Xi felt his situation was even less organized than Lewis’s.

At least Lewis was easily classified as a Ghost Hero.

This tool hero wouldn’t last long, only fit to be a cannon fodder hero.

But he was very marketable as a cannon fodder.

Imagine augmenting his soldiers with Bone Armor before charging forward, and then cursing before dying.

His utility was clearly in the cannon fodder path.

Seeing this, Gu Xi pointed at Die Bone.

”Organize the freshly summoned troops, lure the enemy with the unit, and have Lewis retreat to the City Gate.”

After deploying Die Bone, Gu Xi suddenly recalled something.

Soul Summoning Skill summoned a hero, what about his Double Death Talent’s effect?

When an enemy dies at Gu Xi’s hands and resurrects in Yalidu City, will the hero remain?

Gu Xi quickly notified Yalidu City, asking them what had just been supplemented there.

Turning around, a regiment of Undead Soldiers emerged from the Main City Gate.

Gu Xi was startled by this new regiment, as it mirrored the Bone Camp regiment that had perished at his hands.

Gu Xi thought briefly and understood the situation.

After all, Gu Xi’s Double Death Talent could directly convert fallen enemies into Undead in Yalidu City along the Death Decree path.

This battle’s enemies were all Undead Corps.

Regardless of how Chen transformed them via Death Decree, their status wouldn’t change.

Therefore, they emerged the same as when they died, whatever level and race they died at.

The only difference was their weaponry didn’t transform along with them, now wielding weapons freshly procured from Yalidu City.

Due to time constraints, these weapons didn’t match their circumstances and hadn’t yet been adjusted.

Nevertheless, their levels were higher than those Gu Xi had just summoned, and they automatically formed ranks behind the also Double Death-affected Undead Hero.

This Undead Hero and Die Bone shared similarities, both being zombies riding Skeleton Warhorses.

However, he held no flagpole, instead carrying a Longsword.

Upon seeing Gu Xi, he bowed, indicating his obedience.

Meanwhile, Gu Xi assessed his status.

[Kaga Diegu (Level 8, Summoned Creature, Undead Hero): Experience (0/7500), Attack 6, Defense 5, Life 85, Mana 50, Talent: Bone Armor (adds one layer of Bone Armor for subordinates per level up), Skills: Charge, Curse Mastery, Thorny Aura, Vampire’s Touch, Leader (can command 105 soldiers and 7 bosses simultaneously).]

Upon reviewing this hero’s Attributes, Gu Xi couldn’t help but exclaim.

He had now realized, that the previous Die Bone was a weakened version of this Kaga Diegu.

Or you could say Kaga Diegu was Die Bone’s progression path.

Gu Xi understood why Die Bone first learned Charge then Curses.

It was to prepare for late-game Thorny Aura and Vampire’s Touch, aimed at counterattacking in close combat.

With his Talent, Defense Power would improve as his level increased.

Once Defense Power increased, he’d have two paths; either strengthen defense further as a Defense Unit or…

But Kaga clearly didn’t want to follow that route; he wanted to be a Main Battle Hero, converting his defense into Combat Power.

Hence these unusual choices.

But at that moment, Gu Xi pondered whether leading troops by both Kaga and Die Bone would yield a different effect.
