When Death Ripple hit the enemy, Arroyo had just finished casting the Blood Loss Curse.

Both waves of magic coincidentally landed on the monster rushing at the front.

When the impact of the Death Ripple passed through, the monster immediately spat out a mouthful of blood.

As for the ritual magic of the Blood Loss Curse, it was not as perfect as Arroyo imagined.

The curse landed on the monster, but unlike Mana Extraction, it did not extract mana.

Instead, it cut several continuously bleeding wounds on the monster.

Gu Xi naturally observed this situation closely.

Regarding the vitality of the enemy monsters, Gu Xi had gained some understanding.

Under such magical attacks, it remains unscathed. It seems this battle is not going to be easy.

”Arroyo, move forward to probe.”

While pondering on a solution, Gu Xi ordered his subordinates to take action.

Upon hearing Gu Xi’s command, Arroyo immediately led his troops forward.

Then Gu Xi turned and instructed: ”Necromancers, use Skeleton Priest’s magic with me.”

Gu Xi understood that spells probably wouldn’t work against this fellow, and now it’s time to see what it fears.

Sending troops directly is the most strategic choice at present.

Once the Skeleton Priest appeared, Isabella, who had always been following Gu Xi, began to control the blood-colored cloud to follow the Black Spear Camp, ensuring the camp wouldn’t suffer much loss in battle.

As he led the Black Spear Camp forward, Arroyo understood that this battle was a test of the camp’s capabilities.

Gu Xi needed two forces capable of direct combat.

From the enemy’s scattered impact, it seemed that Black Spear Camp was most suitable for the current battle.

Arroyo led his troops forward, immediately facing the first monster head-on.

This monster was the unluckiest because it organized its equipment fastest and thus rushed to the front.

Resulting in both the Blood Loss Curse and Death Ripple landing on it.

If it weren’t for its thick skin and ample blood, it might have already died.

Now facing the advancing army of Black Spear Camp, the monster felt fear.

It roared loudly and turned to run back the way it came.

This was the first time Gu Xi saw an enemy flee.

This situation reminded Gu Xi of what the task giver said when he accepted the mission.

They weren’t unwilling to deal with these demons of the Earth Demon Cave.

It’s just that when these demons see the army approaching, they will flee.

At first, Gu Xi thought that these fellows would maneuver when they saw strong troops.

Unexpectedly, it turned out to be such a flight.

For a moment, Gu Xi was at a loss.

How to manage the current situation?

Although the Black Spear Camp charged fiercely, they were more of a steady advance, step-by-step approach in attack style.

Leading troops forward in pursuit wasn’t the tactic for Black Spear Camp.

What to do, send people to chase?

Gu Xi’s gaze shifted to Kaga beside him.

Finally, he shook his head; Kaga was not suitable for the current battle.

Kaga’s defensive counterattack tactics could very likely turn the situation into both sides fighting for life.

With regard to the Undead Corps under Kaga’s command, they were not rivals for the demons.

The result of such a standoff could likely lead to significant losses in Kaga’s troops.

Therefore, Gu Xi decisively ordered: ”Arroyo, Blood Loss Curse is pointless, use Slowdown Skill, don’t let them escape.”

Simultaneously, Gu Xi commanded twenty Necromancers he summoned to move forward a bit.

He planned to use the Necromancers as a conduit to cast his spells further ahead.

But Gu Xi never expected that when the Necromancers moved roughly two hundred meters forward, they stubbornly refused to go any further.

After several attempts, Gu Xi found that two hundred meters was the Necromancers’ limit.

Beyond this range, even if they still had time to exist, they would directly return to their summoned position.

In other words, Gu Xi’s idea of using Necromancers as a mana conduit was abandoned.

Luckily, something went smoothly that improved Gu Xi’s mood.

The monster that just fled met with its companions and turned back.

Not only did it return, but it also brought its companions along.

Seeing this situation, Gu Xi swiftly turned and commanded: ”Arroyo, keep a close watch, don’t let them escape again, Bone-Slaying Camp, simultaneous action, Kaga guard at the forefront of the Steel City Gate.”

After issuing the command, Gu Xi utilized Necromancers standing two hundred meters away to launch Undead Magic at the monsters.

Once again, the Skeleton Priest was activated.

After all, the Skeleton Priest enhances the combat power of Gu Xi’s undead forces.

The existence time was not long, and the Skeleton Priest from earlier had now disappeared.

With enemies appearing again, Gu Xi naturally had to bolster his undead forces, while pointing at the sky indicating the Black Dragon was also ready for combat if Black Spear Camp and Bone-Slaying Camp couldn’t hold against the monsters.

Fortunately, at the moment of contact between enemies and Black Spear Camp, Arroyo’s Slowdown Skill arrived.

With the Slowdown Skill landing, the movement and actions of these monsters instantly came to a halt.

Their entire movements were visibly slowed.

The soldiers of Black Spear Camp could even choose to attack various positions of the enemy.

Such as choosing to pierce the eyes or mouth of the enemy with their long spears.

As for the weapons in the hands of these monsters, they were utterly useless.

Even if they saw the long spear thrusting towards them, they had no way to dodge.

Because turning their heads now took an extraordinarily long time.

However, at this moment, these monsters displayed considerable defense capabilities.

The tents draped over their bodies were not for show, and the cooking pots on their heads weren’t for convenience; they provided defense.

When the long spears pierced into their eyes, they remarkably resisted the spear’s attack, still trying to slash forward with their double-pronged forks or large blades.

Upon seeing this situation, Arroyo shouted: ”Push!”

The soldiers of Black Spear Camp immediately thrust their long spears forward, exerted force with their bodies, and began pushing the monsters backward.

Additionally, their prone bodies allowed the other soldiers of Black Spear Camp to take action, stabbing at the monsters with their spears.

When the fifteenth spear pierced into a monster, the notification of the first monster being killed appeared.

[Skeleton Gunners (Summoned Creatures) killed Bone-Eating Yaksha (Level 7), you gained 1 point of experience, Black Spear Camp gained 1 point of experience, summoned creatures gained 96 points of experience.]

Meanwhile, Gu Xi’s Death Ripple happened to strike, enveloping all Yakshas near the city gate.
