————————————

After a night’s rest, Kaga has fully integrated the Die Bone’s troops into his own forces.

At the same time, new weapons and equipment have been adopted, making him, except for lacking an official organization, resemble a regular army more than the Black Spear Camp and Bone-Slaying Camp.

When they set out, the two heroes cooperated with each other, their Talents instantly activated.

Not to mention anything else, all the soldiers were clad in twelve layers of Bone Armor.

Their Defense Power instantly stacked to a relatively high level.

Such a unit is best suited for operations that draw the enemy’s attention.

As they started moving forward, the hero named Mido quickly followed.

Just as Gu Xi said, Mido is best suited for acting as a transport unit.

Accompanying him were a large number of Zombies, including those newly joined to Gu Xi’s troops and those coming out from Yaliduoli.

Their current movement speed is not much slower than that of a regular army.

As they advance, their momentum rises, you can’t tell at all that the weapons in these Zombies’ hands are incomplete, they aren’t meant for combat units.

After their strike, the rear was followed by Gu Xi’s main force.

The Black Spear Camp, Bone-Slaying Camp, Demon Sacrifice Camp, and Gu Xi’s main combat forces were all displayed outside.

As for Yalidu City, naturally, some troops were not deployed.

After all, the current situation isn’t a clear game, Gu Xi certainly won’t lay all his cards on the table, right?

This situation, as expected, immediately attracted the attention of the Yakshas.

In the previous battles, they did take some notice.

It’s just that relations between the Yakshas aren’t that good, and Gu Xi had obviously not launched an attack, even opened the City Gate, with defense done pretty well.

The Yakshas aren’t fools; they have no interest in attacking Gu Xi’s camp.

But now it’s different, now it’s clear Gu Xi’s troops intend to attack the Earth Demon Cave.

This can’t be allowed.

So the nearby Yakshas immediately rushed out, trying to disrupt Gu Xi’s operation before his forces got into position.

Seeing the Yakshas begin their movement, Gu Xi smiled slightly, knowing that the Yakshas wouldn’t miss such an opportunity.

”Lewis, Dali, here’s your chance. Don’t say I didn’t give you an opportunity, set off!”

Under Gu Xi’s orders, Lewis and Dali, who were hiding in the rear, got their respective troops into action.

Gu Xi had considered before the operation that there would definitely be interference during his deployment.

The Yakshas coming to obstruct would surely put in a full effort, leaving their previous positions vacant.

Lewis and Dali were meant for those two spots.

Gu Xi’s demands aren’t high, there’s no need for them to kill the Yakshas in large numbers.

As long as they can cause chaos and block the subsequent Yaksha troops from passing through there, that’s enough.

If they can snatch something and flee or find some valuable item, that’s even better.

If not, Gu Xi won’t blame them.

As long as they can return alive, it’s a good thing for Gu Xi.

Lewis and Dali understood this was their best chance to prove themselves.

Having stayed in Yalidu City for less than a day, Dali had heard about Dimi’s situation.

He didn’t want to remain in the city acting as a tool for strengthening Skeleton Soldiers; he had ambitions.

Faced with such an opportunity, he was determined to seize it.

So when Gu Xi said they could set off, the two of them quickly led their respective troops out.

Lewis took over five hundred Ghost Corps, while Daro led a thousand Skeleton Soldiers.

This was the force Gu Xi temporarily squeezed together.

As for whether they can succeed, that would depend on their own efforts.

The Yakshas didn’t know that Lewis and Dali’s departure meant the Yaksha troops rushing from both sides would first encounter Kaga and Die Bone in front.

This Yaksha force, primarily composed of Bone-Eating Yakshas, also mingled with a group of distinctly different Yaksha troops.

This was the third kind of Yaksha to appear around there; if not for the dogs or cats they had, they didn’t look much different from the Bone-Eating Yakshas.

But their pets proved that their attack methods were different from the other Yakshas.

Most importantly, it wasn’t just one Yaksha with one pet; around them were at least seven or eight pets of various sizes, which clearly were nothing more than tools or consumables for the Yakshas.

After they charged, Kaga and Die Bone exchanged glances, understanding each other without words, knowing what to do.

Under their command, their troops swiftly split into two groups, heading left and right.

Mido accelerated, leading the Zombies to the designated location.

Once at this location, Kaga and Die Bone engaged with the Yakshas.

Just as Gu Xi had previously speculated, Kaga and Die Bone’s troops facing the Bone-Eating Yakshas would ultimately become a battle of Life Force.

The Yaksha carrying pets provided substantial Attack Power, immediately releasing their dogs to bite.

However, encountering the Thorny Aura, all the dogs’ attacks reflected back, hitting the dogs and Yakshas.

In an instant, the Yakshas’ situation worsened, the battlefield became exceedingly chaotic.

Seizing the chaos, Mido directed the Zombies to lay down their burdens and quickly cleared the field.

They pushed large stones aside, discarding any worthless bones to one side.

Then, they began digging on the spot.

All this had been calculated by the architects.

The intention was to lay a better foundation for the upcoming City Wall.

Since Gu Xi’s City Gate is summoned, this part doesn’t need foundational support and can be directly deployed on the battlefield.

But not the City Wall; Gu Xi’s Death City Level isn’t yet high enough.

It’s impossible to deploy the City Walls and matching Arrow Towers, Moats. Currently, this is the only method available.

To prevent the City Walls from being easily breached, a solid foundation must be laid.

Luckily, Gu Xi had some decent architects on hand, and they were inspired by what they recently learned from the Yakshas.

If not, Gu Xi would have to wait until after the gate was deployed to construct the City Wall.

And that would require quite a long construction time.

While Mido was laying the foundation, Gu Xi’s main forces had already arrived at the battlefield.

Gu Xi immediately deployed three City Gates and simultaneously positioned Brave Fight, while he led the forces toward the Yaksha troops.
