Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

49: A nuclear-powered aircraft carrier is about to be born!“Damn it, John Bull and France, do they really have to oppose us Eagle Country?!!!”

The Director of Eagle Country Intelligence Agency, having received the news, immediately reported the matter to Trump, who slowly gritted his teeth and said.

“Boss, I think something might be strange!”

“Why are they so supportive of Huaxia’s Yuanhang-2 Engine? I feel that Huaxia’s engine must have something special about it.”

“How about we let the Chairman of Boeing Company go to Huaxia to take a look?”

The Director of Eagle Country Intelligence Agency slowly said.

Huaxia’s official secrecy measures were too good; Eagle Country agents couldn’t get any information, and the Shell Corporation was holding information incredibly tightly.

No useful information could be pried from any high-ranking official.

Not even with money!!!

The Shell Corporation suddenly became an iron barrel.

“Take a look?”

“Do you also think Huaxia can develop some advanced engine?”

Trump looked at the Director of Eagle Country Intelligence Agency with a puzzled expression.

The Director of Eagle Country Intelligence Agency nodded, “If not, European Countries wouldn’t suddenly issue an airworthiness certificate to Huaxia, and Matthew wouldn’t personally stay in Huaxia for a month.”

Trump paced back and forth, “Alright, let the Chairman of Boeing Company personally make a trip to Huaxia.”

Just as the two of them were discussing.

Matthew, along with the two leaders of John Bull and France and the owners of various airlines, boarded a modified Shell Corporation plane and took off.

“My God, how did it take off after only a few hundred meters of taxiing while fully loaded?”

“How can this engine be so powerful?”

“Will taking off like this consume a lot of fuel?”

...The owners of the major airlines could no longer sit still, turning to look at the engine outside the window.

Matthew and the two leaders of John Bull and France exchanged glances, smiling broadly at Everyone; they already saw countless orders flying in.

Huaxia, Shipyard.

With Everyone’s cooperation, Zhang Yuanhang had completed the construction of the Nuclear Reactor Device, looking at the Nuclear Reactor Device, which was only the size of a small car but contained endless energy.

Zhang Hai and Academician Song swallowed their saliva.

“Comrade Xiao Zhang, is it completed now?”

“Yes, are there no other steps?”

Zhang Hai and Academician Song both turned to look at Zhang Yuanhang; they always felt like they were dreaming, having completed the Nuclear Reactor Device that could provide energy for an aircraft carrier so quickly.

“It’s completed. We just need to hoist it into the aircraft carrier for installation later.”

Zhang Yuanhang patted the Nuclear Reactor Device beside him; after working hard for so long, it was finally completed.

“Comrade Xiao Zhang, is it built?”

At this moment, Du Youguo’s voice came from outside the workshop; Du Youguo, who had just been in the restroom, learned that the Nuclear Reactor Device was finished.

He immediately pulled up his pants and rushed out.

At the moment he entered the door, due to excessive excitement, his foot slipped, and he fell heavily to the ground, a sight that made Everyone wince.

“Uncle Du!” Zhang Yuanhang was startled and was about to jog over to help Du Youguo up.

Before he could take the first step, Du Youguo picked himself up and, as if nothing had happened, walked over to the Nuclear Reactor Device.

“Excellent, excellent.” Du Youguo’s body trembled slightly, making it impossible to tell whether it was from excitement or from the fall he had just taken.

Du Youguo turned to Zhang Yuanhang, his eyes full of anticipation as he asked, “Comrade Xiao Zhang, can it be installed on the aircraft carrier now?”

“Mhm mhm!”

Zhang Yuanhang nodded.

“Quick, someone, go notify them to come and install this Nuclear Reactor Device onto the aircraft carrier.”

Du Youguo shouted loudly into the workshop.

The aircraft carrier engineers, after a month of working overtime to modify the design drawings, had already determined the position where the Nuclear Reactor Device should be placed on the aircraft carrier.

All of a sudden, the shipyard, which had been shut down for a long time, immediately became busy.

“It’s hard to imagine that I, this old fellow, can also help a little with our country’s first nuclear-powered aircraft carrier.”

Academician Song’s face was full of smiles; before Zhang Yuanhang appeared, according to the previous plan, building Huaxia’s own nuclear-powered aircraft carrier would have been ten years later.

By that time, Academician Song would most likely have passed away, but because of Zhang Yuanhang’s sudden appearance, Academician Song could also contribute a little to Huaxia’s nuclear-powered aircraft carrier.

“Youngster, thank you for this time.”

“Following you for a month, I feel like I’ve learned more than what I mastered from decades of focused research.”

Academician Song looked at Zhang Yuanhang with gratitude.

“Yes, it’s been a long time since I’ve absorbed knowledge so freely, it’s truly refreshing!”

“Comrade Xiao Zhang, why don’t you come to our Nuclear Energy Research Base?”

“That’s right, then we’ll directly make you the head of the Nuclear Energy Research Base. If you tell us to go east, we will absolutely not go west.”

...Everyone present truly hoped to work under Zhang Yuanhang; Zhang Yuanhang was like a sage, no matter what questions they asked, he could answer them instantly.

To win over Zhang Yuanhang, they directly sold out their boss, Academician Song.

Academician Song said nothing about this and also nodded; as long as Zhang Yuanhang agreed to join their Nuclear Energy Research Base, Academician Song would immediately submit a report to transfer his position as head to Zhang Yuanhang.

“Everyone, Academicians, thank you for your kindness.” Zhang Yuanhang smiled at the Academicians in front of him, “Nuclear energy is not my main research direction; I don’t wish to spend my time on nuclear energy.”

Du Youguo looked at Academician Zhang Hai and Academician Song, and for some reason, he felt like he had just heard the sound of a heart breaking.

At this moment, all the Academicians and experts present stared blankly at Zhang Yuanhang, thinking, ‘You kid, your words are too discouraging.’

It wasn’t his main research direction, yet the results he produced completely surpassed those who had studied nuclear energy their entire lives.

“Comrade Xiao Zhang, why don’t you reconsider? I believe that as long as you dedicate yourself to research, breaking through Nuclear Fusion will absolutely not be a problem.”

“Once Nuclear Fusion is broken through, humanity will never lack energy again.”

Academician Zhang Hai said to Zhang Yuanhang.

Now, if someone asked Zhang Hai who was most likely to first develop Nuclear Fusion, Zhang Hai would not hesitate to say Zhang Yuanhang’s name.

“Sorry, Academician Zhang Hai.”

Zhang Yuanhang shook his head.

“Alright, we respect your choice.” Academician Song held back Academician Zhang Hai, who still wanted to persuade him, “However, Comrade Xiao Zhang, the doors of our Nuclear Energy Research Base will always be open for you.”

“Mhm mhm.”

Zhang Yuanhang nodded.
