Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

21: Yuanhang Yishi successfully manufactures a weakened version of its engine“You all know what to do now, right?”

Trump turned to his aides and asked with a mischievous smile.

“Boss, don’t worry, we understand.”

The aides all nodded, indicating that they were very familiar with this kind of thing!

One must know that the Eagle Country often presented China and other countries with unattainable pies.

“Next year, your research base’s funding will increase by ten percent.”

Trump said to Dr. Eugene.

“Thank you, Boss!”

Dr. Eugene’s face was beaming with smiles upon hearing this; a small suggestion from him could increase funding by ten percent, which was incredibly cost-effective!

So, after China released the Laser Cannon video, the Eagle Country immediately followed up by announcing that it would soon be equipping a 1,000-kilowatt Laser Cannon.

John Bull, the France, and other countries naturally knew that the Eagle Country’s so-called 1,000-kilowatt Laser Cannon was merely a tool for the Eagle Country to mock China.

Thus, everyone followed the Eagle Country’s lead and announced that they would soon be equipping Laser Cannons.

But how long this ‘soon’ would be depended on their respective moods.

“What the heck, what’s wrong with this world? How did all laser technology suddenly accelerate?”

“How come other countries are all announcing equipment, but our China only released a video and didn’t say anything about the situation?”

“No way, could it be that our China’s Laser Cannon technology isn’t mature yet?”

“I say, brother upstairs, can you be a bit more confident? When has our China ever announced the equipping of gear without it having been in service with the troops for a long time?”

...The originally jubilant Chinese citizens felt as if a bucket of cold water had been poured over them upon seeing the news released by foreign countries.

“The Top Leader, these countries like the Eagle Country are truly thick-skinned. The information we have is that they haven’t even finished a 500-kilowatt Laser Cannon.”

“Yet they have the nerve to say they’ll soon be equipping a 1,000-kilowatt Laser Cannon.”

The secretary compiled the news just released by foreign countries and handed it to China’s Top Leader.

“Hmph, isn’t this normal? These Western countries just like to talk about things they can’t do.”

China’s Top Leader sneered, recalling how the aerospace plans announced by these countries back then were more spectacular than the last.

In the end, only our China steadily progressed, step by step, completing the plans of that year.

The other countries seemed to have forgotten the aerospace technologies they had announced back then.

“Have the official media release a message.”

“Anticipate.”

China’s Top Leader said with a smile. The word ‘anticipate’ from China’s Top Leader here had two meanings: one was to anticipate the future equipping of the Laser Cannon by those Western countries, and the other was to tell the Chinese people to look forward to it.

Upon seeing this message from the official media, the Chinese citizens, who had been disheartened by the news from various foreign countries, once again became full of anticipation.

A month passed in the blink of an eye.

At this time.

Zhang Yuanhang, along with Academician Qian and others, had successfully developed and manufactured the first ‘Yuanhang One’ weakened version engine.

“A heaven-sent genius!”

Academician Qian looked at Zhang Yuanhang, who was preparing for the final test, with immense admiration in his eyes. He completed the research and manufacturing in just one month, and the test was about to be completed, meaning it could be used directly. He was truly formidable.

“Old Qian, don’t get discouraged!”

Academician Li Bing looked at Academician Qian’s expression, feeling a little worried and afraid that Academician Qian would be discouraged by Zhang Yuanhang.

“How is that possible?”

Academician Qian rolled his eyes at Academician Li Bing. He was already in his sixties or seventies, and he had seen countless geniuses in his life. If he were so easily discouraged,

He would have been finished long ago!!!

“Academician Qian, you have been involved in this research all along.”

“What do you think of the performance of the engine developed by Comrade Zhang Yuanhang?”

Zhao Sheng asked Academician Qian curiously.

Considering that this engine was successfully developed and manufactured in just one month, Zhao Sheng was a bit skeptical about its performance!

“Xiao Zhao, don’t doubt the performance of this engine.”

“This engine is definitely superior to all the engines you have ever seen!”

“It’s not just me saying it, but using this engine on our domestically produced large passenger aircraft is a bit of a waste; it could totally be used for military purposes!”

In the past, Academician Qian would not have dared to imagine that our China’s civilian engines could be this excellent.

“The reliability and durability of this engine directly surpass all civilian engines on The Entire Blue Star, and even military ones cannot claim to be 100% better than it.”

“As for the performance parameters, all the results will be out shortly. You can see for yourselves then.”

Academician Qian felt that what he said now would not be as impactful as them seeing the data themselves, so he did not elaborate further.

A hint of shock appeared in Zhao Sheng’s eyes.

It is well known that military and civilian products are of different grades. The performance parameters of military items may not necessarily be better than civilian ones, but in terms of reliability and durability, they absolutely outperform civilian ones.

Unexpectedly, the engine developed by Zhang Yuanhang could actually compete with military ones.

“Old Li, you really found a treasure!”

“These students have learned a lot following Zhang Yuanhang!”

Academician Qian felt a bit jealous of his students. If he had been mentored by a peerless master like Zhang Yuanhang back then, his achievements today would probably be even greater.

“Hahahaha.”

“Then when the project is completed, you must treat me to a good meal.”

Academician Li Bing laughed heartily.

“Deputy Chief Designer Zhang, let me handle this.”

“You must not tire yourself out.”

Qin Ming, who was initially a bit unconvinced by Zhang Yuanhang, now acted like a sycophant, eagerly helping Zhang Yuanhang with tasks.

“Actually, I’m not tired. Alright, alright, you take it.”

Zhang Yuanhang looked helplessly at the enthusiastic Qin Ming. Every time he wanted to lend a hand, Qin Ming would always jump out and snatch the item from his hands.

It made Zhang Yuanhang feel embarrassed just standing there, only moving his mouth, watching everyone busy and sweating profusely.

“Deputy Chief Designer Zhang, everything is ready. We can start the test now.”

Qin Ming, wiping sweat from his brow, came to Zhang Yuanhang and said.

At this moment, a hint of fervor appeared in Qin Ming’s eyes. As long as this test passed, this engine would be a success.

“Good, let’s begin!”

Zhang Yuanhang led everyone to a safe area, and the engine began to ignite.

“Boom!”

Watching the engine start to run, everyone began to busy themselves. Zhang Yuanhang stood calmly in place, looking at the roaring engine, a smile appearing on his face.

After a month of hard work, it was finally completed.

“Comrade Zhang Yuanhang, you’ve worked hard. Come, have some water.”

Zhao Sheng brought a bottle of iced water to Zhang Yuanhang. With the test reaching its final stage, Zhao Sheng was also very happy, because now that Zhang Yuanhang had free time, he could ask Zhang Yuanhang to help them.

After all, the h-20’s engine was still up in the air. Before Zhang Yuanhang’s sudden emergence, the plan was to buy a Great Bear engine. Now with Zhang Yuanhang, the Air Force leaders immediately decided that no matter the cost, they would invite Zhang Yuanhang to design and manufacture the engine.

“Thank you, thank you.”

Zhang Yuanhang said with a smile.
