Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

5: The most powerful aircraft engine on Blue Planet, Yuanhangyi!“Chief, how should these civilians be handled?”

“They witnessed the entire mech incident and many of them recorded it.”

At this moment, the Firefighting Captain walked over and reported the situation to Colonel Lin Yun.

“Go prepare non-disclosure agreements and explain the implications of this matter to them.”

“At the same time, confiscate all their electronic devices and buy them new ones.”

Colonel Lin Yun said.

The Firefighting Captain was stunned for a moment. He had originally thought they would only delete mech-related photos from the civilians’ electronic devices, but he didn’t expect Colonel Lin Yun to go all the way.

He directly confiscated all their phones.

“Understood.”

The military officer next to Colonel Lin Yun immediately went to handle it.

“Your Firefighting team members also need to sign.”

Colonel Lin Yun turned to the Firefighting Captain, who showed no dissatisfaction and nodded cooperatively.

Zhang Yuanhang looked at the factory building where he had spent nearly four years, now a pile of rubble. He felt a little sad, but when he saw the result of those four years, the mech, he couldn’t help but feel proud.

The Entire Blue Star’s first mech was born in his hands. Even if he achieved nothing else in the future, people of later generations would remember him.

Father of Mechs, Zhang Yuanhang!!!

“Is this the flying mech?”

Just then, a young man, supporting an elder, quickly jogged towards the mech.

“Academician Li, slow down, slow down!”

Colonel Lin Yun was startled to see the elder jogging. This elder was no ordinary person.

He was Academician Li Bing, a member of both academies and the chief designer of China’s domestically produced large passenger aircraft. The Domestic Large Aircraft Project had been launched thirteen years ago.

Everything was at a critical juncture. If anything happened to Academician Li Bing, the consequences would be unimaginable!

Academician Li Bing was here today because he was unwell and recuperating in Shancheng. He then received a message from his superiors to verify the authenticity of the mech.

Initially, Academician Li Bing had dismissed it, stating that it would take The Entire Blue Star another hundred years of development to even produce a mech that could barely be considered one.

However, when his assistant handed him a tablet, Academician Li Bing nearly choked.

The tablet was playing the video of Zhang Yuanhang piloting the mech in flight.

“Do we really have such powerful aero engines domestically now?!”

Academician Li Bing trembled with excitement as he watched the four engines propelling the mech into the sky in the video. Ever since the outside world learned that China was developing its own domestically produced large passenger aircraft, those who had long been subservient in China constantly attacked the domestically produced large passenger aircraft, citing China’s lack of a qualified engine. This put immense pressure on Academician Li Bing.

So, when Academician Li Bing saw Zhang Yuanhang’s mech, coupled with the news from his superiors, he rushed over immediately, unable to wait.

“I’m fine, I’m fine.”

“Don’t block my view of the mech.”

Academician Li Bing pushed away Colonel Lin Yun, who had rushed over to help him. Colonel Lin Yun hadn’t expected Academician Li Bing to be so strong and, caught off guard, fell to the ground.

Zhang Yuanhang’s eyelids twitched.

Academician Li Bing, who needed help walking, actually had such strength!!!

“Where are the engines of this mech?”

“Quick, let me see the engines.”

“What are you waiting for? Hurry up!”

Academician Li Bing pointed at the mech’s back, where the engines were hidden, and urged, unable to calm down until he saw the engines!

At this moment, Academician Li Bing’s tone was a bit heavier.

“Little Zhang, sorry about this.”

“Academician Li is too excited, his tone is a bit heavy, please don’t mind him!”

Colonel Lin Yun dusted himself off and hurried to Zhang Yuanhang’s side, speaking, fearing that Zhang Yuanhang would be upset by Academician Li Bing’s tone.

At the same time, seeing Academician Li Bing’s excited state, he was extremely worried that Academician Li Bing might get overly excited and collapse on the spot.

“Mm-hmm. Don’t worry, Colonel Lin Yun, I won’t mind.”

Zhang Yuanhang could tell that Academician Li Bing wasn’t doing it on purpose; he just wanted to understand the mech quickly. This mech was too captivating for those engaged in scientific research.

After speaking, Zhang Yuanhang returned to the cockpit and exposed the mech’s four engines.

Academician Li Bing, now wearing his reading glasses, stared intently at the engines on the back of the mech.

“It’s hard to imagine that these four engines can propel this behemoth into the sky.”

“I didn’t expect our country to have such excellent engines. If these engines were scaled down, they should be able to be used for domestically produced large passenger aircraft.”

Academician Li Bing said slowly.

“Academician Li, why would you want to scale them down?”

“Can’t we just use them as is?”

Colonel Lin Yun asked, puzzled. Why use something inferior when a good one is available? What was the point???

“No, no, the thrust of these engines must be very powerful.”

“Four engines can propel this behemoth into the sky. This behemoth must weigh at least over five hundred tons.”

“The thrust is too strong; our developed aircraft wouldn’t be able to withstand it and would fall apart.”

Academician Li Bing said slowly.

However, what Academician Li Bing didn’t expect was that this mech actually didn’t weigh five hundred tons; it wasn’t even half of what Academician Li Bing guessed. Because Zhang Yuanhang used new materials, the mech currently only weighs two hundred tons.

Just then, Zhang Yuanhang took a tablet from the cockpit.

“Little Zhang, what is the thrust of these four engines?”

“And what model are these engines? Which company produced them?”

Colonel Lin Yun felt that Zhang Yuanhang had already accomplished a great deal by building this mech, so he didn’t think that the mech’s engines were also made by Zhang Yuanhang.

After all, the country spends a lot of money on engines every year, and even today, China has not produced a world-class engine.

Academician Li Bing and the others also turned to look at Zhang Yuanhang.

“These engines, I named them Yuanhang-1 Engine.”

“The maximum thrust per unit is one hundred twenty-five tons.”

Zhang Yuanhang said.

“Yuanhang One Series? How come I haven’t heard of this engine model before?”

Academician Li Bing looked puzzled. Could it be the latest engine developed abroad? At the same time, a sense of powerlessness rose in Academician Li Bing’s heart. One hundred twenty-five tons of thrust per engine, how could our country catch up!!!

“What?!”

“Yuanhang One Series, does that mean these engines were designed and manufactured by you, Little Zhang?”

Colonel Lin Yun’s eyes widened, staring intently at Zhang Yuanhang.

A person, while building The Entire Blue Star’s first mech, actually also developed a new type of engine.

Colonel Lin Yun was a bit in disbelief at this moment.

“What, the mech is using an engine you developed?!”

Academician Li Bing felt like he couldn’t breathe.

“Quick, heart medicine, quickly get Academician Li’s heart medicine.”

Academician Li Bing’s assistant, seeing the situation, immediately went to get medicine for Academician Li Bing.

Zhang Yuanhang and Colonel Lin Yun were also startled, their hearts instantly leaping to their throats.

It wasn’t until Academician Li Bing returned to normal that they slowly relaxed.

“Academician Li, you need to calm down, we can’t take this!”

Colonel Lin Yun said softly.

“How do you expect me to calm down?!”

“The Eagle Nation spent countless funds, gathered a large number of scientists, and the most advanced engine they developed only has forty-five tons of thrust!”

“Yet, it’s only about one-third of the thrust of the engine this kid developed!”

Academician Li Bing looked at Zhang Yuanhang with admiration, truly wanting to see how this kid’s brain was wired!
