Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

40: The Yuanhang-2 engine shocked the entire planet“It’s out! Our very own domestically produced large passenger aircraft is here!”

Just then, the prototype of the domestically produced large passenger aircraft slowly emerged from the hangar.

All the reporters present turned their cameras towards the domestically produced large passenger aircraft. Through the live stream, the Chinese public saw that the engine used by the large passenger aircraft was indeed not a foreign model.

Cheers erupted instantly.

“Everyone, will large passenger aircraft also be sold at cabbage prices by us in China in the future?”

“Cabbage prices might not happen, but I think those foreign aircraft manufacturers won’t dare to demand high prices anymore.”

“That’s right, the price of large passenger aircraft will definitely decrease in the future. It will certainly be more affordable for us to travel by plane!”

“Thank you, Great God Zhang Yuanhang!!!”

...Seeing this, people who frequently travel by plane for business trips had smiles in their eyes.

At Shancheng University of Science and Technology.

“Guan Ya, come quickly and see! Our very own domestically produced large passenger aircraft is out.”

Li Yaxin excitedly pointed at the live stream on the computer screen.

Guan Ya rushed over, “Let me see. Why is Zhang Yuanhang here again?”

“Is the name Zhang Yuanhang really that common?”

Guan Ya was puzzled. The name Zhang Yuanhang wasn’t as common as Zhang Wei, so why did she keep seeing the three characters Zhang Yuanhang?

“I think it’s possible that the Yuanhang-2 Engine used in this domestically produced large passenger aircraft was developed by Zhang Yuanhang from our class.”

“Guan Ya, think about it. Last time, so many soldiers came to the school to protect him, and the Principal even personally processed his graduation procedures early.”

Li Yaxin voiced her speculation.

Guan Ya shook her head, “How could it be Zhang Yuanhang from our class? At most, it’s the same...”

Before she could finish her sentence, Guan Ya saw that the official live stream released a photo of Zhang Yuanhang.

That’s right, this time the Government didn’t intend to hide Zhang Yuanhang. The Government would not withhold any of the honor due to him!

“Holy crap, holy crap, holy crap!”

Three exclamations of “holy crap” burst from Guan Ya’s mouth. Guan Ya trembled as she pointed at the official photo of Zhang Yuanhang revealed in the live stream.

“Holy crap, I knew Great God Zhang Yuanhang was young, but I didn’t expect him to look like a freshly graduated university student in the photo.”

“What’s called a hero emerging in youth? This is what’s called a hero emerging in youth!”

“Wow, Great God Zhang Yuanhang’s photo is so handsome, I love it!”

...Netizens were all shocked when they saw Zhang Yuanhang’s photo.

Everyone’s hearts couldn’t help but be filled with a few thoughts: So young, and the young man is a bit handsome!

Seeing her good friend’s reaction, Li Yaxin immediately turned to look at the live stream. Just then, Academician Li Bing walked onto the stage.

“Everyone, here, on behalf of all personnel of the Domestic Large Aircraft Project, I want to thank Comrade Zhang Yuanhang.”

“We thank him for spending a month specifically to develop the The Entire Blue Star’s strongest engine, the Yuanhang-2, for our domestically produced large passenger aircraft. This is also why our large passenger aircraft was able to make its maiden flight so quickly.”

Because Zhang Yuanhang was still manufacturing the Nuclear Reactor Device for the Navy and couldn’t personally attend the maiden flight of the domestically produced large passenger aircraft, Academician Li Bing couldn’t thank Zhang Yuanhang in person and could only bow deeply to the live stream camera.

“Academician Li Bing, you just said that this Yuanhang-2 is the The Entire Blue Star’s most powerful engine. Isn’t that a bit exaggerated?”

“And a month’s time, isn’t that too fake?”

At this moment, a reporter from the audience excitedly asked.

The reporters present were all very excited. Originally, they thought the main news would be about the domestically produced large passenger aircraft, but they didn’t expect Academician Li Bing to make such a bold statement.

“I think Academician Li Bing is overstating it a bit.”

“Yes! You know, the Eagle Nation’s strongest engine thrust has reached forty-five tons now.”

“I remember the last time the Government announced our most advanced engine, the thrust was only twenty tons. With such a big difference, how could it surpass it in the blink of an eye!”

“Exactly, exactly, and to develop the The Entire Blue Star’s most advanced engine in a month, even the Eagle Nation wouldn’t dare to say such a thing, right?”

...Everyone in the live stream felt that Academician Li Bing was exaggerating. Although they really hoped that the engine developed by their country was world-class, they felt that scientific research should be down-to-earth.

“Initially, I was just like you, but after witnessing what young Zhang developed, I believe anything is possible.”

Academician Li Bing did not get angry in the face of Everyone’s doubts but said with a smile.

“Academician Li Bing, the Eagle Nation’s most advanced engine has a thrust of forty-five tons. How many tons of thrust does our Yuanhang-2 Engine have?”

Another reporter stood up and asked.

“Seventy tons, twenty-five tons more than the Eagle Nation’s most advanced!”

Academician Li Bing said proudly.

“Hiss!”

Everyone present gasped. In such a formal occasion, the information announced by the Government was absolutely reliable, so all the reporters had no doubts.

“Holy crap, holy crap, brothers, what did I just hear???”

“Seventy tons, holy crap!”

“I woke up too early today, still dreaming in broad daylight.”

“Oh my god, from today onwards, can our China get rid of the name ’weak engine nation’?”

“Brother, you’re stating the obvious!”

...The netizens in the live stream immediately exploded.

Foreign spies following the live stream had their mouths wide open. China had developed an engine that crushed The Entire Blue Star!!!

“This is impossible. How could China develop an engine more advanced than our Eagle Nation’s?”

“China must be quibbling.”

At this moment, the Eagle Nation’s spy leader, currently in China, jumped up and shouted.

“Leader, according to the Chinese Government’s habits, the things they announce are generally relatively backward.”

“They announced this Yuanhang-2, which means they definitely have an even more advanced engine now.”

At this moment, an Eagle Nation spy said with a trembling voice.

The Eagle Nation’s spy leader shivered when he heard his subordinate’s words. It was over, his country was already behind China in the field of engines.

“You guys keep watching, I’m going to report this news to my superiors.”

The Eagle Nation’s spy leader turned and left.

At this time, in Rong City.

“Everyone, no matter how much I say, it’s not as good as our large passenger aircraft prototype flying once.”

“Now, let’s watch the performance of our large passenger aircraft!”

Academician Li Bing saw that the people below indicated that the prototype was ready for takeoff at any time, so he spoke.

Everyone present nodded, then turned to look at the domestically produced large passenger aircraft, which was already prepared for takeoff on the airport runway.

“Here it comes, here it comes, let’s blind those foreigners!”

“Fellow netizens, I’m a little nervous!”

“Don’t be nervous, trust our country’s scientific researchers, they will not let us down.”

...As the domestically produced large passenger aircraft began to push the throttle, the two Yuanhang-2 Engines roared. The bullet comments in the live stream disappeared, and Everyone stared intently at the slowly moving domestically produced large passenger aircraft.

“Boom!”

As the throttle was pushed to the maximum, the speed of the domestically produced large passenger aircraft rapidly increased.

The domestically produced large passenger aircraft taxied quickly on the runway.

The observers on the side kept calling out numbers.

“Taxiing one hundred meters!”

“Taxiing two hundred meters!”
