Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

4: The army takes controlAs the smoke and dust dispersed, a tall and mighty Mech came into view.

”You all go and control the people here first, I’ll go make a call to The Top Leader.”

The Firefighting Captain said to the officers and soldiers under his command.

The Firefighting Captain understood the importance of the Mech in front of him to Huaxia, so he wanted to report to his superiors immediately, while also controlling Everyone around, to see how to handle it later.

Just as the Firefighting Captain was about to make a call, the roar of helicopters and fighter jets came from the sky.

Everyone looked up and saw several fighter jets flash by quickly, and seven or eight armed helicopters circling in the sky with the Mech at the center.

Many military vehicles came from all directions, filled with soldiers carrying real guns and ammunition.

”Damn it, the military is here too.”

”Stop filming, you’ll be arrested if you keep filming.”

”I hope I can still keep one picture of the Mech later.”

...Seeing this scene, the people who were still taking photos and videos with their phones quickly put them down.

After the Mech video topped the trending search list, it was discovered by official personnel. After confirming that the video was real, all the high-level leaders of Huaxia immediately held an online meeting.

”Everyone, the mysterious flying object that appeared in Shancheng... no, the Mech, is this really not something our scientific research department made?”

A leader looked at the leader in charge of national scientific and technological production. In his opinion, if he had to say that this Mech was produced in Huaxia, he would rather believe that it was officially manufactured.

After all, who in the private sector has the money and technology to create such a behemoth?

”This thing really wasn’t made by us. Our current technology simply hasn’t reached that level.”

The leader in charge of scientific and technological production almost drooled with envy looking at the Mech rising from the ground in the video. To make this big guy fly directly, how powerful must those four engines in the back be!

”Leaders, it has been investigated. That factory was rented by a student named Zhang Yuanhang from Shancheng University of Science and Technology.”

”According to the investigation, for the past four years, Zhang Yuanhang has spent most of his time in that factory.”

At this moment, a secretary hurried in with a document.

”So, it’s very likely that this Mech was built by this young man, right?”

Although this result was truly unbelievable, that was the reality.

”Immediately dispatch troops to control that industrial area.”

”At the same time, dispatch a few Academicians to go and see.”

At this moment, a white-haired old gentleman spoke.

Seeing The Top Leader speak, Everyone stopped talking.

”What about the internet? It’s already exploded online.”

Everyone looked at The Top Leader.

”Don’t worry about what’s already spread. In the future, don’t let anyone post videos related to the Mech online anymore.”

Although those videos had just been taken down, many people had already downloaded them, and it was still a bit difficult to completely erase them.

Moreover, the matter had already reached the top of the trending search list, and foreign powers must have already known about it. It couldn’t be hidden anymore.

”Mhm, mhm.”

Everyone nodded, and so the Shancheng military region immediately received orders. Helicopters, fighter jets, and soldiers were all dispatched, and in a short while, they surrounded the industrial area.

At this time, Colonel Lin Yun, who was leading the team, came to the Mech.

”I never thought that I, Lin Yun, would actually see a genuine Mech.”

Lin Yun laughed.

Just then, after completing all checks on the Mech in the cockpit, Zhang Yuanhang maneuvered the Mech into a half-crouch, then shut down the Mech’s system and opened the Mech’s cockpit.

”He’s coming out! The Mech’s cockpit is open!”

Everyone looked at Zhang Yuanhang walking out of the Mech’s cockpit, their eyes filled with curiosity. At this moment, they had ten thousand questions in their hearts.

Zhang Yuanhang skillfully jumped down from the Mech.

”Hello, my name is Lin Yun.”

”Young man, what’s your surname?”

Lin Yun jogged to Zhang Yuanhang’s side, extended his hand, and said with a smile.

”My name is Zhang Yuanhang.”

Zhang Yuanhang said.

”I’m a bit older than you, so I’ll take the liberty of calling you Little Zhang.”

”As the pilot of this Mech, do you know where the team that built this Mech is?”

That’s right, Lin Yun misunderstood. He thought Zhang Yuanhang was just the pilot of this Mech, and that the person who truly built it was someone else.

Looking at Lin Yun, who was looking around, Zhang Yuanhang just wanted to laugh.

”Colonel Lin Yun, this Mech was built by me alone.”

Zhang Yuanhang said proudly. Although it was with the technology and funds provided by the system, Zhang Yuanhang had personally digested the massive amount of technology and built this behemoth by himself.

”What!”

Lin Yun was greatly surprised, and the soldiers behind him, as well as the people not far away, all stared at Zhang Yuanhang with wide eyes.

This young man, who looked only twenty-two or twenty-three, just said that the Mech in front of them, which could fly, was built by him alone.

This was simply too outrageous, wasn’t it?

”Young man, are you joking?”

”How could this big guy have been built by you alone?”

Colonel Lin Yun felt that this kid was just joking with him. A Mech over twenty stories high, how could one person complete it?

Although he didn’t understand technology, he knew that this Mech could not possibly have been completed by one person.

Zhang Yuanhang shrugged helplessly. If he didn’t believe him, there was nothing he could do.

”Colonel, it really might have been built by this brother alone.”

At this moment, an officer walked over with the document he had just received.

Lin Yun was puzzled. He picked up the document and was astonished. For the past four years, only Zhang Yuanhang had been in this factory for extended periods. Apart from those who delivered materials for building the Mech, no one else had come.

”Young man, how did you do it?”

”Completing such a massive project all by yourself?”

Lin Yun looked at the fifty-meter-tall Mech, then looked at Zhang Yuanhang, who was only about 1.7 meters tall, and swallowed.

”It wasn’t just me. I also had a few robotic arms helping to produce this Mech.”

Zhang Yuanhang said slowly. The robotic arms were given to Zhang Yuanhang by the system.

”Sure enough, the old saying wasn’t wrong: heroes emerge from the young!”

Lin Yun looked at Zhang Yuanhang with admiration and joy. Although the country was growing stronger, there was still a certain gap in the field of scientific research compared to other countries. Fortunately, this gap was gradually being narrowed by domestic scientists.

Domestic experts estimated that in another ten or twenty years, the country would not necessarily completely surpass other countries, but it would definitely be able to rival them.

Today, Lin Yun wanted to say that perhaps it wouldn’t take that long. With this child in front of him and the Mech behind him, they could surpass other countries.

The amount of advanced technology contained within this behemoth behind Zhang Yuanhang, which could fly like an airplane, was self-evident.

Lin Yun believed that as long as Zhang Yuanhang was given some time, he would be able to lead Huaxia’s scientific research to the world’s top, and even surpass the world.

After all, there isn’t a single organization in the world that can build a Mech right now, let alone one person building such a behemoth.

”A genius, a world-class genius!”

Lin Yun looked at Zhang Yuanhang as if he were looking at a treasure.
